I have taken my animals to several places within the Northeast and Harwood Veterinary Clinic is hands down, the best clinic to go to. First and foremost, they actually care about not only the animal, but the pet owner as well. They are more than happy to answer all of your questions or address any concerns you may have without rushing you in and out like a lot of clinics do. I find them to be very affordable and I like the fact that they have a separate waiting room for cats and dogs as my little felines will often get somewhat stressed out if there are dogs in the nearby vicinity. Going to the vet is hard enough! Finally, when it comes to end of life issues, they are beyond compassionate and will give you as much time as is needed to see your final goodbyes to your fur baby. I really cannot say enough good things about the facility, the doctors or the staff. Keep up the great work!

They have walk ins for sick call and even though we had never been there before we were seen in less than 10 minutes. The vet was fantastic, gave me a cost estimate and took as much time as I needed to answer my questions, discuss with my husband and answer more questions. He was very straightforward in his recommendations and was honest about the most necessary diagnostics and treatments to work with our budget. We have been to many vets that seemed to be primarily focused on making money with nonessential tests and meds but that is not the case here. The staff was all kind, patient and understanding and the vet was very knowledgeable and put the health of my dog and our budget over making money. I feel no need to go explore other veterinary options.

As a first time puppy owner, Harwood is setting the vet standard high. They have separate waiting rooms for dogs/cats, and is committed to your animals health from the very beginning. We had a couple different health issues early on, and Harwood has always (almost immediately) worked with me to make sure hes healthy and not drowning in antibiotics and have always called me to back to answered my additional questions (instead of insisting on an office visit). That being said, my pup still is EXCITED to come to vet- which says a lot about how great their staff is. I wish there were some days to make appointments, because waiting on their "first come first served" basis gets long, but I would say its still worth it. :)

I love these people. They are the only vets that Ive ever met that truly care about animals in general. I brought a cat that I found outside of my apartment to them because she was not going the bathroom, had feces stuck to her fur and was very sickly. The vet saw me immidiately and I was just a walk in. She did an exam and unfortunately the cat had kidney failure and a lot of problems due to just being dumped on the street. I cried like a baby and the vet actually comforted me and offered to put the cat down for free since even if we did treatment the cat would only have a little while longer to live. I cant begin to say how greatful I am to these people. They will help you!

I cannot say enough about the wonderfully kind and attentive staff at this clinic. They saved our parvo puppy with all of the love, attention and proper, effective, and prompt care they administered. I truly believe they are a blessing to not only those of us who have pets in this area, but also to the profession in general, as they show families what honest and sincere pet care is supposed to be! If you want to take your pet to be loved up on as closely as you love up on them to soothe through a doctors visit, look no further! These animals are treasured lives not only to us pet owners, but to the staff as well! You will not find a better staffed or qualified facility!

The best, hands down. So many good things to say about the doctors and staff, no time rightnow, will come back and edit later. If you are anywhere in El Paso, only use Harwood Clinic. Super clean facility, separate cat and dog waiting rooms. Lots of parking spaces. Not only are they caring and compassionate, they can HEAL THE ANIMALS. They make house calls if needed. We have been taking our cats to them for more than 15 years, cant imagine going anywhere else. Im sure that when Nancy Harwood retires someday, she will pass the business along to her partners; she knows that the community needs Harwood clinic and would be lost without it. Kudos! Bravo!

I went to Harwood at the recommendation of another military spouse. The vet clinic on post didnt seem to care about the lump on my cats gum, but Dr. Harwood took one look and said it had to go. She handled my cat so well that I took my dog there after adopting him. Even took my friends dog there when they were visiting and she was very practical about treating her, enough to let her get home to her regular vet for follow-ups. Prices are similar to what I paid elsewhere and what my friend pays in Denver. Im willing to pay a little more for someone who knows what they are doing and takes good care of my pets.

I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. We went during walk in hours for a broken tooth and were there for only an hour total. Dr Crider spent a good amount of time explaining all of our options to us, and brought in Dr Harwood to take a look as well. They told me that they dont do much dental work and referred us to a specialist for a possible extraction or root canal. They gave me 15-20 minutes one on one time and didnt charge me anything for the visit. I wish all vets were so kind and thorough.

I hate to be the only negative review but it needs to be said. My dog got out and was found by someone who took her here and I know I called right during closing but I just wanted to know who had my dog. They were unable to give me a name or phone number and I think if someone comes in with a found animal their name and phone number should be taken down to ensure that if the rightful owner calls looking for that dog they can pass the information on to help the owner get their pet back.

Dr Harwood has been my family vet for about 25 years now. She is by far the most knowledgeable and caring vet you could ever find. She completely understands that, to many of us, our pets are our family. She is a wonderful person and a wonderful vet. Her staff is top-notch and professional as well. I would highly recommend the Harwood Clinic over any other, especially over the others in the area.

Being military- you are always moving then have to find new everything- including vets. In El Paso- there are tons and trying to find one you like and trust can be hard. Weve been to a few but really like Harwood the best. Everyone is great there- friendly. Dr. harwood explains everything to you. We had to take our dog back for follow up test and again- great, understanding staff.
