We took our dog here for a few issues and a check up. We purchased the medicine and also paid in full for all of the services we received. A few days later we were still seeing issues and was told to come back in to redo a test. 2 months later we receive a past due bill for the second stool sample that was supposed to be free of charge as I was told at the visit. I called back and explained to the front desk personal what was going on and said they will take care of it as the first test was inconclusive. Im assuming there was a brake down in communication between the doctors and front desk personal. Today we scheduled a visit over the phone. I received a call back 3 hours before our appointment and denied service from not paying. This was 100 percent not the case. We have been very calm in explaining what happened and how it was most likely a break down in communication between one of the 5 people involved. When someone says they will take care of it, I assumed it was all fine and well. At no point did we ever refuse to pay. When they offered to redo the test free of charge, why would we pay again at that point. We thought we had a great place to take our dogs, but it looks like were staying away from this place. Everyone was nice there in person and over the phone, but dont let that fool you. They are not honest folks. We dont reccommend taking your pets here. Plenty of other places around Denver metro with honest folks.

Response to Jeff Goldy: There is nothing to reiterate, it was never discussed in the first place. Someone needs to call me and explain the medical records. Leave a voicemail if need be. Please and thank you. Feb 10th...still waiting. Feb 7th...still waiting. Unbelievable. Feb 2nd...still waiting. Original request for answers on Jan 27. Today is Jan 31...still waiting. Upon your initial visit, Dr. Rae seems great. But if youre expecting any kind of response to your inquiries or follow up, youre going to be very disappointed. Medical records for my cat say "possible positive" for leukemia, which is not only a deadly disease, but can also be contagious to my other cat. This was never explained to me. I found out through a new vet that saw the med recs and brought it to my attention. I asked Dr. Rae and a member of his staff to explain this to me because Im obviously distraught and may need to take immediate action. That was 2 days ago...still waiting.

I was very impressed with Goldsmith from the time I made the appointment, with Dawn, to her checking us in efficiently. The way Dr. Cavanaugh and the tech were with my girls were amazing they were compassionate but authoritative when handling them, Ive been elsewhere and you would think its their first time handling a cat, this was not the case at Goldsmith! Dr.Cavanaugh was not pushy with extra services, I was the one saying I want labs on both for peace of mind, and she was right, it wasnt necessary. I phoned back with a question, once we got home, and Dr. Cavanaugh, personally, called back to answer my question, also ensuring it was okay to call tomorrow if symptoms persisted, noting she would not be there but her colleagues could help. Best customer service, super compassionate towards fur-babies and friendly towards humans! Well done Goldsmith!

If you are looking for a vet, look no further! I have been taking my dogs to Goldsmith Vet for over 11 years now and Dr. Goldy and Dr. Rea go above and beyond when taking care of my dogs. Not only are they amazing, but the entire staff is awesome! We treat our dogs as part of the family and they do too at Goldsmith Veterinary Clinic. We just had the awful experience of saying goodbye to our 11 year old South African Boerboel Apollo, and I can not stress enough how impressed we were with their process. A few weeks later we got a card in the mail filled with nice messages from the entire staff and a clay impression of his paw print. We were blown away to say the least! So, if you are looking for a veterinarian give this place a shot, you wont be disappointed!

Weve been clients for 15 years, and wouldnt trust our goldens care to anyone but the doctors at Goldsmith Veterinary Clinic. The entire staff treats us with respect and kindness from start to finish. They never rush through any appointment, making sure that all my questions are answered and taking the time to get to know us as a family as well. And of course our dog loves that they are willing to give her plenty of treats while shes in the office. When our dog was diagnosed with an uncommon eye ailment, they took the time to do all the research on the best care, being sure to contact specialists in the area of care, so that they could give us the best treatment plan available. I highly recommend them to anyone who loves their pet!

I had never been to Goldsmith before but my aunt had been taking her dogs there for years. My dog got very sick over the weekend and when I tried to take him to the vet I had been going to they didnt want to try to fit him in even though he was obviously in distress. I called my aunt and we went to Goldsmith. They got us in within 5 minutes and were very quick to diagnose the problem although they had never even laid eyes on my dog. I will be taking all my dogs to Goldsmith from now on. Dr. Amy was especially great but the whole staff was excellent. Im sorry I didnt catch the names of the vet techs who were also very kind and helpful. Thank you so much for making a really hard day a little easier, Goldsmith.

We cannot say enough good things about Goldsmith Vet Clinic. We have a dog with a chronic stomach issue and have received the best, most thoughtful care from the vets at Goldsmith. Drs. Goldy and Rea have counseled us through numerous health issues from minor to major. Scheduling appointments has been easy. We have also greatly appreciated the vets willingness to provide consultation by phone. We think it is unique to find doctors who are able to ease our concerns about our pup while also support and encourage our treatment decisions. They knew exactly when to refer us to a specialist and sent us to the best in the area. We have recommended Goldsmith to many of our friends and will continue to do so.

We started taking our pets to see Dr. Goldie and Dr. Rae about four years ago. They are amazing. Dr. Goldie saved our cats life as her kittens had died in her womb. They originally gave her a 17% chance to live. It was pretty tough and scary for our kids to see her that weak. They were getting ready to go on vacation, and they took our cat Squeeker with them, so they could always be close to her and nurse her back to health. It has been four years later and she is a happy house cat, and we are forever greatful. These Vets go above and beyond and dont charge you an arm and leg to do so. They love animals and their owners!
