Over the past 2 years I have taken my adopted 8 yr. old male akita to Dr. Harika. He has proven to be an extremely caring, compassionate, and competent veterinarian. He is not only fantastic with animals but also with their owner’s and the cost of care. Dr. Harika is truly dedicated to his profession, and showed that commitment to me by keeping me well informed and not only hearing what I had to say, but listening to what I was saying. The first time I brought Sake to MHAH to see Dr. Harika for a checkup and round of shots, I could see Sake took an immediate liking to him and his staff. I have owned many large breed dogs in the past and none of them ever willingly walked into a veterinarian’s office. Sake never has any reservations about walking in the front door of MHAH. A testament to Dr. Harika’s abilities is most recently Sake had been experiencing a chronic urinary flow problem. Dr. Harika and I developed a diagnosis and treatment plan for Sake. We discussed at length the various potential causes, the tests necessary to accurately pinpoint and cure the problem, and the cost associated with each option, leaving surgery as the last. In the end, Sake’s problem required surgery and Dr. Harika showed just how good of a veterinarian and surgeon he really is. Following surgery, Dr. Harika regularly contacted me through email or by phone to check on Sake’s recovery. Today, without going into any bio-functional descriptions of Sake’s current urinary state, I will just say Sake couldn’t be any happier! Dr. Harika is the best veterinarian I have had the pleasure to know. He is always concerned with the health, care and comfort of your pet. I certainly trust my dog’s health to him. I am certain Sake feels the same way as well. Thank you, Dr. Harika for taking such great care of Sake!

Dr. Harika and the staff at MHAH are AWESOME!! I have taken my pets here for several years now and would never consider going anywhere else. I refer all of my friends here. People often think of veterinarians as being "out for your money" and that they dont really care about you or your pet. This could not be further from the truth with Dr. Harika and his staff. I have found them to be the most kind, caring, and compassionate people, both with my pets, and also with me. I cannot afford enormous vet bills, and Dr. Harika is always very understanding of this. He does everything he can to find a way to make the visit economical for me, often without my asking. I also appreciate that he thinks outside the box. If your pet is sick or injured, he is willing to go the extra mile to heal them, even if it means coming up with some non- traditional ideas. If traditional treatments dont work, he will find something else that does. He truly cares about each and every animal and wants to help. He is a wealth of knowledge with experience in so many different facets of veterinary medicine, and knows so much about so many different kinds of animals. Hes very thorough with his follow-ups, and and post surgery checkups. I have a diabetic dog, and he will often email me or call me to check in on her and make sure she is still doing well. Above and beyond the call of duty. If you are looking for a place to take your pets, bring them here. I promise, you wont be disappointed. And as a side note- he has so many amazing stories to tell about animals! If you decide to take your animals here - and you really should!!!!- ask him about Galapagos Tortoises and alligators, and all the other cool animals he has cared for. : )

I cant say enough about the care and service I receive from Dr. Harika and his staff. I had always gone to the VCA clinics because they were a chain of clinics until the costs became way too much to absorb. Ive always adopted my dogs from shelters and my current best friend "Bugsy" Ive had now for 5 years. Shortly after adoption I discovered that Bugsy had a very large cyst under his neck. VCA told me it would cost somewhere in excess of $7500. I began searching reviews such as the one Im writing for a doctor that cared and maybe was willing to work with me on the costs. Dr. Harika went above and beyond in acquiring a specialist surgeon who came in after hours to perform the surgery at cost. His staff worked with me while the agency I adopted "Bugsy" from raised the funds from donations to pay for the surgery. Ive never been so grateful to find a doctor who places his patients above the value of a dollar. This last weekend Bugsy was acting really strange, cowering in corners, not responding to my calls, and not caring where I was. This was highly unusual since he never leaves my side. I sent an email to Dr Harika and got a response within an hour on a Sunday afternoon! Bugsy is back to normal and his happy go lucky self. THANK YOU! to Dr Harika and your staff for the work you do and for caring.

Dr. Harika has proven to be a very compassionate and caring vet. He has worked with my cats for quite a few years now, including our newly adopted kitten who was having strange respiratory issues (turned out to be a litter allergy!). He was thorough with my questions and understanding of my new mom nerves. He was even kind enough to check in with me via email to see how our little kitten was doing over the weekend while she was being treated. When my mothers elderly and blind cat started having seizures he was able to treat her AND work within my mothers very restricted budget. His staff has always been helpful and kind as well.

Morgan Hill Animal Hospital is incredible! Dr. Harika is extremely knowledgeable and definitely interested in the welfare of animals first and foremost. One evening our cat had a problem and he met us at the office at 10 pm rather than go to the emergency vet in SJ which would have charged us a lot more money. He gives us options and helps us make good decisions. The staff at MHAH is very compassionate, caring, and love what they do, resulting in loving care for their patients. We highly recommend Dr. Harika and MHAH and would never consider going anywhere else.

Dr. Harika is a very kind and caring doctor. He is very skilled in his profession and has taken much time and consideration in diagnosing and treating my sweet little dogs heart condition. When you come to the clinic it is apparent that the whole staff cares for every animal that comes through the door and each one gets special attention. They help my pup to feel loved and be brave for all of her treatments.
