I visited this office because it was listed on my insurance providers website as one of the optometrists that accepts my insurance (Davis Vision). Unfortunately, my experience was not a very pleasant one. The equipment used for the exam was antiquated and did not include the more recent retina exam or specular microscopy. Dr. Cothran seemed to think I was lying to him when I told him that I had difficulty focusing with the trial contact lens he asked me to try on. It was a lower prescription than what I had been previously wearing, but finally agree to change the prescription. At checkout, I was being overcharged $88 because of what the staff claimed to be a "premium" fitting. I had them call the insurance and got it sorted out and only paid the $20 co-pay that my insurance required. Needless to say, I wont be going back to this place. The doctor and staff seem more interested in selling me overpriced glasses and contacts than in the well being of my vision. There are much better optometrists out there. Next year I am going back to my previous doctor (who was excellent by the way) even though he is out of network.

Staff is very kind and friendly Dr. Kudder knows what hes talking about. He doesnt hide anything from you. He tells you the truth about whats going on with your eyes, bad or good. The test and equipment they have are the newest and best. I liked not having to have my eye receive a puff of air!!! They also were very up front with me on the cost of the exam and any additional cost it would be for additional tests. At the end of the exam the friendly staff helped price out which deals would be best for me since I needed both glasses and contacts. It was all broken down for me on a piece of paper no guessing game. They have a wide variety of glasses to choose from and another friendly staff member will help you find just the right pair. I would give viewpoint vision an A+ for friendly service and thorough exam. Would highly recommend them!!

I actually quit going here 8 years ago because the customer service was so bad. However, over the Christmas holiday, my glasses were broken and scratched by accident. They reinstalled the lens so I could at least use the glasses and recommended I return to the place I bought the glasses because the scratch should be covered under warranty. Turns out it WAS covered under warranty and cost me nothing to replace the scratched lens. Today (01/26/16), I was experiencing some symptoms of retinal detachment. I called them at 5:45PM to see about getting an appointment. They told me to come in RIGHT AWAY. They did all the necessary tests and told me what the issue was. They close at 7PM, but I didnt leave until about 7:20PM. EVERYONE here is very nice and helpful....SUCH A CHANGE from the previous personnel!!!!

They were great! The girl was very friendly over the phone making the appointment and took the time to get my insurance information to give me a heads up of how much to expect to pay. When I got there they were very professional and thorough, the technician explained what each machine was checking in my eyes. The doctor was great, especially after I had not had my eyes checked in several years he made sure to educate me on the importance of eye care. They helped me pick out glasses and explained all of the pricing and discounts they offered. I was very pleased and would highly recommend them to anyone!

My glasses have been bound by duct tape for far too long. This place was great! I have been to a number of corporate chain stores been treated like a number and rushed out the door. Not here, private practice is the way to go! Personalized care, dedicated staff and very honest and informative customer service. The staff was very open and friendly, Doctor K. was very enthusiastic and happy to answer all of my annoying questions. I didnt just find the right pair of glasses, I learned a lot too! I would recommend this Office to anyone looking for new glasses or contacts.

My visit to Viewpoint Vision was great. I stopped by to verify if they accepted my vision coverage and scheduled an appointment for the following week. I was able to re-schedule my appointment with no problems. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They informed me of my options and treated me with respect and patience. Went by to look at frames and order new glasses today at 5pm. Their website says they are open till 6pm, their hours sign says till 6 pm, yet nobody was there. Obviously, I am not happy about wasting my time and gas to go to a business that isnt open when it is supposed to be.
