I recently moved to Frisco and was hoping to find a really good optometrist and Im glad I chose to go to Dr. Yees office. I called to make an appointment and got on the phone with Martha. She took the time to take all of my insurance information as well as what I was eligible for with my benefits so that by the time I came in for my appointment I was already in the system and the time I spent on paperwork was minimal. Martha is great at what she does and you can tell she enjoys working with patients. She took the time to learn my preferences regarding frames and best fits and helped me to pick the perfect pair (or two). She explained everything that I was getting -- from the lenses to the anti-glare and gave me a price quote. Dr. Yee is very personable and thorough with her exam. She took the time to answer my questions and never made me feel rushed or that our time was short. She is very knowledgeable and professional. Her office looks beautiful and is so nicely decorated. My experience at Avant-Garde was excellent from start to finish. Cant wait to start wearing my fresh pair of specs. Thank you, Dr. Yee and staff!

Dr. Yee is terrific and very professional. It was my first time in this place, she is very patient, friendly and takes time to listen. I went to see her for contacts. Her diagnosis is totally on point. She went the extra mile and told me lot more about Astigmatism that I did not know before. Both Dr. Yee and the whole staff here highly ensures customer satisfaction. They do not rush you to pick one item or the other. They take time to explain about the insurance coverage details and products. I remember my first time there in the store, few weeks ago, I got there little later than when I was scheduled to be . I was struggling with my contacts after getting examined by Dr. Yee. And it was already passed store hours. But both associates, Anastasia, and Martha stayed there. Anastasia sat with me and coach me till I felt comfortable to put on and take off my contacts, despite the store hours. I thought this was exceptional service. They got me exactly where I wanted to be visually, Thank You.

One thing I dislike is the feeling of being rushed when you go to the doctors office, Dr. Yee, however, was very patient. She listened to all the complaints and prescribed treatments as need. She is very technology savvy, as well. The office has state-of-the-art equipments. She introduced me to the Sync 5 lens, that I have never heard of. My cousin is an optometrist in Florida, and have not heard of it either. Most offices in Frisco, probably, have never heard of it. :) You can genuinely tell she tries to help. The people in her office are pleasant and helpful. They are not aggressive in trying to make sales. Dr. Yee, tries to authorize discount to help out her patients. The office is clean and chic. Dr. Yee, also, tries to carry frames to fit petite patients. I had a great experience. Wish I had found this office sooner. :)

Avant Garde Optometry is the only place that I go to get my eyes checked or to buy frames. If youre like me, I am very particular about the doctors I go see. When I find a doctor or practice that I like, be it a physician, dentist, or even stylist, thats the only one for me. Dr. Yee is very professional and very informative. The added bonus about this practice is the selection of frames. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly, and complimentary. I recently bought a bold pair of blue, Etnia Barcelona frames. I would never have bought these frames without the help from the staff. They have certainly brightened up my wardrobe. I definitely recommend this practice as a one stop shop!

I had a wonderful experience at Avant-Garde! Dr Yee and staff were wonderful! They were so welcoming and they were even happy that I brought my baby with me to my appt. Dr Yee had excellent bedside manner and made me feel very comfortable. It is clear that she is very knowledgeable about eyes and genuinely cares for your health. The staff had a passion for fashion and to date they have been the only helpful people I have encountered in picking out new frames. They also took what I was looking for and found me what I liked instead of suggesting something totally opposite. They answered all my questions about insurance. They felt like friends, and will always have my business!

Dr. Yee is Awesome! Ive never had an eye appointment as enjoyable as in her office! My Wife and I have been on an on-going search for a quality eye doctor, and before even meeting Dr. Yee. Her staff had us sold! Everyone in the office was very knowledgeable, friendly, and seemed to sincerely want to help. Dr. Yee was no exception to this either. The exam went as usual, but her explanation of the results were explained to us in an easy to understand manner. Which my Wife and I highly appreciated! Great Doc! Great Staff!! Highly Recommend!!!

Dr. Yee & her staff very professional & took time to help me select right kind of frame to fit my face. They take my insurance & it was affordable. I have a small face & they recommended some aviators which I love & get tons of compliments all the time! I am glad I came here instead of the chain places to get a good exam & some frames for sunglasses & for distance. I love their frames & the office is really nice. Very happy & satisfied to find a place like this that takes the time to help you get what you need!

Top notch service and selection! I came in a few weeks ago to get my eyes checked and possibly get some new glasses. Little did I know I would end up getting the best eye exam and glasses buying experience of my 33 years! They were very knowledgeable and the whole crew helped me find the perfect frames for me. Admittedly nothing I would have pulled off the shelf myself, but ended up being the best looking glasses Ive ever had. Thanks for the excellent experience and see you all again for my next visit!

I originally selected Avant-Garde as they have the BEST selection of designer frames. But once I got there, I found a lot more. The staff and Dr. Yee are friendly and helpful. They each spend a lot of time with you explaining things and answering questions. They make you feel.like a valuable customer. My eyes are a valued asset and I know Im getting the best care for them with Avant-Garde!

Dr. Yee is a fantastic eye doctor, I looked in many places,like Plano, Little elm and even prosper for a optometrist that could give me more than just the standard service as my astigmatism is not very common. I got a fantastic pair of MIU MIU glasses and I look forward to the new eye wear selection for next year. My VSP insurance covered a good chunk of the cost!
