He is a dental super hero. I am legitimately TERRIFIED/ANXIOUS of dental work. Stemming from horrible experiences with different dentists. Its resulted in finding myself crying, out of anxiety, just looking and talking about the work to be done. But we found DR. Raven and had my first visit. As always I felt overwhelmed & anxious. But with his calm demeanor of reassurance, speaking volumes of his expierence, he emphasized everything was going to be fine, which Ive noticed some dentist seem to forget. He took his time to make sure my husband and I understand everything throughly, without feeling rushed. I have lots of work to be fixed. He has the ability to make longer appointments so you can get lots of work done. This was important for me. Raven also has a great network. Some doctors no matter the field, in my experience, dont communicate very quickly or efficiently. This was proven false with Raven. He is working closely with Dr. Xia (was referred& also amazing). With my dental problems which I thought were extreme, I left his office feeling emense relief. I FINALLY have not one dentist but a team who built my dental health plan, with my best intrest as a priorty in every area; financially, physically, and most important mentally. Its no longer a burden but a manageble goal. I am scheduled for a big appointment soon and even just a little less anxiety means a lot to me. Ive had two big appointments! ITS ACTUALLY PAINLESS! His aftercare is superb as well. Im on my way up from here. Thanks you!

Hands down the best dental experience Ive ever had was with Dr. Raven. A series of bad experiences with a poor dentist have left me petrified to go in for check ups let alone have work done. After my experience at Raven Dental I think a lot of that anxiety is disappearing. Not only is the staff warm and inviting but Dr. Raven has a gentle and calming chairside manner that Ive never had in a dentist before. Every tiny bit of the procedure was explained to me. I was walked through how to read my own x-rays rather than just stare at them in horror wondering what all these different things I was seeing may mean. This is the first dentist Ive been to that was able to get me numb on the first try and quite frankly the shots didnt even hurt! No more nitrous or anxiety prescriptions needed to have a procedure done, hooray! Highly recommend for anyone but especially those who are skittish in the dental chair and need a little extra reassurance and kindness. It goes a long way, and they do a wonderful job. I feel more confident in the health of my teeth now than I have in years. Thanks Raven Dental!

We have been patients of Dr. Ravens for years, and also of Dr. Thurn for many years before Dr. Raven joined the practice. The entire staff is caring and wonderful to work with. Karen M., one of the dental assistants, is so good with cleaning that there is no pain or discomfort, period. Dr Raven is friendly, caring, professional and simply fabulous! I personally had a lifelong problem with painful mouth canker sores, due to very uneven teeth. Dr Raven did a bit of reshaping and filing, and I have had zero troubles ever since! Search all you want, but you wont find better dental care anywhere in Springfield or Eugene! 5 stars, all the way!!!!!

Moved to this dentist on a high recommendation from a co-worker nearly 3 years ago and havent regretted that decision once! My previous experience at a different dentist was very poor. Dr Raven and his team were SO FRIENDLY, helpful and effective. They helped fix a highly sensitive tooth nearly 3 years ago. Ive had no problems since. Each time I go in for regular visits, the entire staff is genuine, helpful, effective, timely and just plain kind. They are also helpful by providing, if you want them, text reminders about appts which have been great. I highly recommend this dentist and team!!

I havent been to the dentist in over 5 years, I chose this place based on reviews and I couldnt be happier! They got me in right away after hearing I was having pain in one tooth. Dr. Raven went over what options I had and let me decide on what the next step was. They were also very helpful in me understanding my insurance and what they would cover. So far Ive only had 2 appointments but both appointments werent as stressful as I used to feel going to the dentist.

After my childhood dentist that I had been with for almost 30 years retired, it was time to find a new one. My wife had been going to Dr. Raven for a little over a year and said he was great. So I jumped on board! Dr. Raven and his staff are wonderful! Kind, friendly, patient, and they explain everything to you fully. Youre never left in the "dark". I highly recommend them if you want to well taken care of and have a dentist is truly painless!

Lets be honest, going to the dentist isnt anybodys favorite thing to do. That said, since changing to Dr. Raven a few years ago, I look forward to my appointments every few months. The staff are friendly and treat you like family. The appointments are quick, painless, and often full of laughter. Its apparent that Dr. Raven and his staff care not just about your dental health, but about you, your family and our community.

Dr. Raven and his staff are WONDERFUL! I have a little bit of anxiety around dental work but Dr. Raven does a very good job telling me what my options are and also walking me through exactly what to expect next during any procedure. In addition to being good at dentistry, he is compassionate, gentle and kind. Everyone in the office is a great mix of personal and professional! I highly recommend them! My kids agree!

Drs. Raven and Thurn have been my family dentists for 20 years. They have great staff who are gentle and knowledgable, explain what they are doing, and provide options for dental care. They work well with children, and took time to accustom my child with autism to the routine of sitting in a chair and having someone work in their mouth. Karen is my favorite! But all the staff is wonderful and I recommend them highly.

Absolutely love this office! I have high anxiety about going to the dentist and they are wonderful at making me comfortable and getting the job done! Even my 6 and 9 year old sons are confident in Dr Raven and able to let him do the work the have needed. The staff are very helpful and welcoming! Highly recommend and I tell everyone I know if you are looking for a new dentist this is the place to go!

Im not a fan of going to the dentist, and avoided it for a long time. When I finally came around to making an appointment with Dr. Raven, I was surprised at how relaxed the entire staff made me feel. The appointment was pleasant and I know I received top-notch care. The staff were all attentive to details, made me feel very comfortable, and created a pleasant atmosphere.
