My life was forever changed after having all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled at Parkland Family Dentistry. I was having some on and off pain with one of my wisdom teeth that had been trying to come in for years. I went to Parkland Family Dentistry and was told that I needed to have all 4 pulled in one day. Thinking this was just a routine procedure that "everyone" must go through, I scheduled my appointment for the next day to have my teeth removed. I really wish I had done my research, because unfortunately, I didnt know that being over 20 years of age and having my wisdom teeth extracted put me at a greater risk of having my lingual nerve injured. I wish the dentist (the professional that I trusted) would have at least told me about the risks before moving forward. Instead they tell you to sign a form, and then they move on. During the procedure (which my husband recorded), the dentist had a very hard time removing my bottom right wisdom tooth. Even though my mouth was numb, even I could feel how much pulling and tugging he did on this specific tooth. After struggling to remove the tooth (pulling, tugging, and even drilling), it was finally extracted and in pieces. The day after my procedure, I noticed that the right half of my tongue was still numb. I also had a very sharp pain on the bottom right side of my mouth where the tooth was removed. My husband called the dentist, and he told me to come in right away. When I arrived, the dentist examined me and told me that my nerve was probably injured, but would be back to normal in a few weeks. He also referred me to an oral surgeon. That was the last time I ever saw or heard from that dentist again at Parkland Family Dentistry. He didnt even call to check on me after the fact. 3 years later, my injury never healed. I have a constant burning sensation on the right side of my tongue. It causes me great pain, and Im afraid I will never get relief from this injury. I now have a new dentist who tells me that this injury could have been avoided with proper care and that he always tells his patients of the risks involved with wisdom tooth extraction. I wish I had never been a patient at Parkland Family Dentistry. They dont explain anything to you. They just tell you what you need done, and to make an appointment. I feel like they dont actually care about their patients. I felt more like a number to them, then an actual person. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. EVER!

Everyone there is nice and polite. Very Clean and very flexible. They however "accidentally" overcharged me when i asked them not to go over my Insurance amount. They had given me a list of things needed to be done and the plan was i would do whichever my insurance covered and the rest the following year when my policy renewed. BUT while i was in the chair the dentist told me that they could knock a couple things off my list while i was there if i had an extra 20min. Well those extra 20 mins cost me and extra 400 dollars over my limit. This ALSO happened to my wife they also charged her 400 over my limit bringing my total to 800. When i spoke to a accountant they told me that they could not help me other than to set up a payment plan. Although throughout the experience they were polite. They would not wave the fees. They are polite but i dont like how they acted as if they did nothing wrong in what they did and would not right their mistake. Go if you like. They are nice but BEWARE!

Horrible Experience. Denied access to dental records for over six months in violation of HIPAA and RCW. Went for cosmetic reasons, to have fillings changed to white, composite, and new crown. Left with pain and needing to hire another dentists to fix what they did. Co-owner stated they were not required to carry liability or malpractice insurance when I asked for the insurance contact information. Worse experience at a dental office ever.

Oh my what a wonderful place! I was so nervous about seeing the dentist as it has been a few years. I was pleasantly surprised that I only had a few fillings to take care of and my cleaning was amazing. I wont skip my 6 month visits ever again. Thank you so much for your gentle touch and manner of dealing with a scared cat. I will definitely suggest this office to all my family neighbors and friends.

I am a patient of Dr Dent and he is the best Dentist I have had during my life. Dr Dent is very nice and makes you feel Welcome. He explains what needs to be done and gives you a choice. Not pushy as most Dentists I have seen in the past. Dr Dent is very gentle and cares about his patients. He makes sure you are comfortable and no pain at all. Thank you Dr Dent for a Great Dental Experience.

I will nevet recommend this place to anyone. Theyre liars, money hungry and rude. You dont set someone up for an appointment 6 months down the line then give them a big fine for not having knowledge of the appointment. No matter what the situation was, they had no mercy for my life issues. "Pay your fine" she said. "Thats just how life goes".

This dentist broke off a tool in my husbands tooth cavity, didnt tell him about it and then sent him to a specialist that this dentist recommended, they were not able to get all of it out. He went back to get the crown today and they gave him a huge filling instead of a full, tooth sized cover and charged for a crown. Never going back. Ever.
