My experience at Dr. Wingfields office today was totally unacceptable. My husband and I drove from Houma, La to Gulfport to make the 1:30p.m. appointment time. Due to traffic in the New Orleans, La area, we realized we were going to be several minutes late and I attempted to contact them by phone to advise them of our delay. No one ever called us back. We arrived for the appointment at 1:39p.m. I sat there for 1 1/2 hours and was never seen, but what I did see was that there were other people late for their appointments too. One woman was 15 mins. late and she was seen almost immediately. While sitting for the 1 1/2hours another waiting person shared with me and others there that he had a similar situation the day before, but decided to come back today and try again to be seen. I was surprised to hear him say the things he was saying. I took the staffs action as a racially motivated incident because I was the only black person trying to be seen and the staff acted like I wasnt even there. Of course, my business goes elsewhere!!

My partner went there today. Very disappointing. He was a patient of Dr. Hughes. He showed up, waited 30 minutes (for a 815am appointment). When he got in, he was asked why he was there, (hes been seeing Dr. Hughes for a couple of years). They had no idea why he was there. THEN he was seen by a physicians assistant, NOT the doctor. He was told that Dr. Hughes had left the practice. Nobody called him and told him that Dr. Hughes had left. Then he had to pay $40 for his copay, which is what you pay to see a doctor, NOT a physicians assistant. NEVER saw a doctor. I think this practice is shady/not very professional. He will NOT be returning and hes reporting them to the insurance department for possible fraud.

I went in today and saw a physicians assistant (no doctor) for what Im positive is aleopicia and I was told to go buy some biotin (which I already have and already use and dont need them to tell me to use it) this does not help with aleopicia. I wasnt giving any medicine at all and I had to make a $35 copy for a horrible appointment that was an extreme waste of time and not to mention that the front desk clerk wasnt friendly at all.

This dermatology clinic has failed to help me twice. The first time I saw Dr. Angela and the second time with Dr. Emily. I feel like both times they made minimal effort to help me. All they did was recommend that I use a different over the counter face wash. They didnt bother to answer my questions or even ask me any questions. Their lack of effort was a waste of my time. I dont plan on going back.

Besides the fact that they have a nice building and their friendly guest service, the doctors recommend unnecessary procedures to fix your problem. For example, I typically get keloids when I get piercings. When asked how to remove the keloid, they recommended a pricey procedure. However, I asked a close family friend how she got rid of her keloids, and she said her doctor issued her medicine.

Was quick to upsale me some services but couldnt recommend me a proper cleanser or moisturizer, I found out on my own the moisturizer and retinol I was using was the culprit in destroying my skin in the first place. Front desk clerk was very unfriendly also. The one on the right.

I truly do not understand any of the negative reviews. Dr Wingfield and her staff are AMAZING! I always feel comfortable and cared about. Everyone there takes the time to answer questions and address any concerns. Make that appointment, you will be glad you did. :)

Extremely unhappy with the customer service on the billing part of this business. The minute you start you ask questions about what youre being billed for, they get rude. My money is going elsewhere. Customer service should be #1.
