These guys give Banfield a bad name. The amount of knowledge these "professionals" lack about pet meds is ridiculous. The one girl tried to tell me Prozac was xanax; its not, not even remotely close. Then they refused to call the medications into the pharmacy for my dog because they said it was against the law, it wasnt, they are just ignorant about the classification of drugs. Little did they know I work in a pharmacy, licensed and registered, I went to school for this stuff, I get veterinary calls all day, so youd think Id know what the law was and how to operate a pharmacy. So when i tried to inform them of the law they, of course, had an attitude. You would think a medical professional talking to another medical professional would end in a solution. Hah. Also, it takes at least 3 days to get kanything done there. I had one girl PROMISE me she would call me back same day and guess what? No call. Im just tired of the ignorance there, this girl literally lied to me, thats the point Im most upset about. "Prozac, which is xanax..." Which brings me to another point, they prescribed my dog xanax and said it would calm her down. Well I give it to the poor dog and it had paradoxical effect on her and she went crazy. So I let them know and the girl on the other end goes "oh yeah we see that alot in dogs" WELL WHY WOULD YOU PRESCRIBE AS THE FIRST OPTION???? I have a pitbull, if she had bit someone in her xanax craze thats it, theyd put her down. My dog is a bit intimidating in appearance, but shes a sweety. I wont take her back to Brick anymore, I care about her too much.

My dog has a UTI. We called in Mid August and explained what was going on and they said they wouldnt be able to take her until Sept. 5. We reluctantly made the appt., but her symptoms kept getting worse so we called again and the inexperienced girl who answered said theyre too busy to take our dog in any sooner. My husband asked if there was anything else we can do in the meantime and the only thing she recommended was going to another banefield and hung up on him. Google was our next resort to try and relieve some of the symptoms of the UTI. While Banefield is cheap and convenient, we have had nothing but issues no matter which location we have gone to. I feel that the vets we have dealt with are poorly trained and the employees at the front counter are there for a paycheck and not the well being of the animals and they rush you off the phone. We will without a doubt be canceling our Banefield plan and will be going to a more reputable vet even if that means paying a little more. At least our dog will be treated correctly and quickly. We were lucky and able to schedule a same day appt. For new customers, Banefield is good if you get a puppy for a the first round of shots, but after that I highly recommend canceling and finding another vet for sick visits, treatments, etc. Someone thats in it for the right reasons.

would never go here again . I took my kitten here to get spayed I got her back the same day still loopy from anesthesia. brought her home and two days later the stitching opened at the bottom because of only stitching one layer. took her back and was charged 80 dollars for fixing their mistake. the following day her wound inflamed from skin gluing it causing infection. I was then given a 800 dollar estimate to fix that. why would I pay for something that they did. my poor kitten ended up in a cone for two and half months. needless to say I didnt do the surgery there went to a REAL vet and was just out on antibiotics. this vet told me my kitten probably wouldve died of they opened her up again. they then had the nerve to tell me she "needs" to come in for this surgery. HORRIBLE. not many certified or experienced technicians working there. would never suggest going here.

My Maxx had been a Banfield Dog for 8 years , no matter which Banfield he always received Love and Patience .. Recently he took a turn for the worse and so off to Banfield we went .. Not only were the Staff kind and compassionate but Dr. Beltran rushed in early to tend to both he and I .. At 18 years and 10 months he was eased to Sleep .. All there who knew my Maxx felt for us .. ANd I cannot say enough good things about this Banfield .. Thank you

Ive been to multiple Banfields and I hardly ever have a complaint. But if you value your pet at all, take them to a different Banfield. So disappointed and completely unprofessional.
