I discovered Jersey Shore Veterinary Emergency Service the way most people discover a facility like this, through a crisis. Our emergency happened late one Saturday night while we were out of the country on vacation. Our oldest dog, Maggie, was involved in a severe fight with another dog, she was left in shock, with extensive blood loss and huge gashes all over her head and neck area. She was barely alive. My oldest daughter and a family friend rushed her to JSVES and carried her in. Dr Cromal spent the next 4+ hours placing hundreds of sutures, stitching her back together and saving her life. Over the course of the next two months, Maggie required several follow up visits and another surgery to re-stitch areas of skin that died off due to the damaged blood supply. I am incredibly grateful to Dr Cromal, Dr Fenwick and their staff for all they did to save Maggie. Dr Cromals level of concern and caring went far beyond anything that I could have hoped for. I am not a person that gives out compliments that are not deserved, I am not a person that is easily impressed, Dr Cromal and JSVES impressed me. I would highly recommend their services to anyone that happens to find themselves in need of an emergency vet.

The entire staff was excellent and treated our dog like he was their own. When my girlfriend and I dropped our dog off at three in the morning he was lethargic, vomiting blood and had bloody diarrhea. The vet immediately took our dog and started treating him. They kept our little Homer for a little more than a day and routinely let us know over the phone how he was doing. When we picked him up this morning, the difference in Homers condition was astonishing. There is no doubt that without Jersey Shore Veterinary Emergency Service immediate care, this story would not have a happy ending. When I took our dog to his primary vet right after picking him from Jersey Shore Veterinary Emergency Service, our vet even made a remark about what a good job they had done. We cannot thank you enough. Thank You!!!

Went to jersey shore emergency hospital with our boxer bella. Doctor laura and doctor craig and the staff were unbelievable! The compassion and genuine love they all have is wonderful. Our girl neefed emergency surgery which is upsetting as it is but they were so compassionate to us and took such great care of her. Dr craig you went above and beyond when we thought we had another emergency and had to take her back in. These 2 doctors and their staff were absolutely so kindnto us and helped us so much. I cant say enogh about this place. If i were ever to hit the lottery i would donate so much money to them for their love to helping animals! I thank you with all my heart!!!

Beware! My dog swallowed a bone, they did X-ray, saw something but sent us home and said if he throws up his food that is a problem, called back and said he threw up his food, then they said give it until morning and if still throwing up, call back. Called later that night since he was wheezing, they said thats expected. Next morning still throwing up, went to another emergency vet who treated him and removed bone, but by then severely dehydrated, trachea tissue dead, and kidneys and liver failed. Died that day. Too much time with bone stuck in trachea. Horrible neglectful treatment. Devastated!!!

You people should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves. Youre a disgrace to your field. I wonder how you sleep at night. 286$ to do nothing and send my dog home. You wouldnt even put in some stitches to make sure my dog can make it through the night until we can get him to a REAL vet. thats open tomorrow? Because we didnt have 1100$ on us and you refused to let us on a payment plan? Shame on you. EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU D**CHEBAGS!!!!! Rot in hell. If my dog dies before I can get him to a vet. that actually cares about animals tomorrow, ITS ON YOU!!!

We had to bring our 13 year old yorkie in to be put put down after falling ill, Dr.Cromal and Kelly were amazing, very comforting and compassionate. It was such a hard thing to do, Dr.Cromal reassured us due to his quality of life that we were doing the right thing. They sent us a beautiful card with his paw prints and a very nice note . I was very happy with the way they treated my dog and myself.

I was so extremely happy with the care my dog received. I was slightly panicked when I arrived and taken in very quickly. They did not take advantage of the situation by doing a lot of testing and handled everything in a timely and comforting fashion. What a relief to know they are there!!!

Dr Laura did an amazing job for my dog, Lilly. Her compassion and her level of care was excellent. We were so lucky to have chosen to go there. I would recommend them for any after hours care, dont hesitate! I cant thank them enough.
