She spent less than 4 mins. with me, including a "complete" screening for skin cancer - during which she spoke almost exclusively to her nurse in "dermatology speak" {her term, used in the hurried disclaimer she thrust at me as she commenced her :30-sec. "extensive" examination of my entire body... When I asked the nurse for a translation of the "dermatology speak" - I was told, "It just means everything was fine except those 2 spots." (yes, I had to have shave biopsies on 2 moles...did I mention my dad died of melanoma last year?) Im not saying she was totally uncaring (though I felt if Id been there for botox or Obagi products, she might have been more attentive). But I had to ASK for any info/input and basically demand that the nurse to slow down and give me the answers I wanted before they started injecting and cutting on me. Im hoping she truly is a competent physician...b/c I literally went there entrusting my life into her hands. [Melanoma kills.] Seems she might at least find some merit in that and conjure the decency to treat me like a human being, worth--oh, say maybe 5 minutes of her time?

I have been a few times with no issues; have never seen Dr Patel I assume because my issues were minor. I went a few weeks ago to have a milia removed and the PA or whoever she was, was extremely aggressive with the removal and I just was not pleased with the whole process. Sorta of, "How fast can we do this?" I also showed her a spot on my cheek to which she replied, "Do you have a magnification mirror? I can barely see it." Well, yeah I do have a magnification mirror and I will be seeking another physician/PA to take care of it. Super disappointed.

A very disappointing and dissatisfying experience of having gone to both the Germantown(burn off procedure done) and Olive Branch( freeze off procedure done) offices for removal of keratosis beneath the left eye. Insurance did not cover the cost, therefore, removal of the keratosis was at my own expense. I had to pay for the procedures at both offices but the keratosis remains. There has been no response to the letter written to Dr.Patel on August 27, 2013 expressing dissatisfaction and disappointment with treatment outcome.

I was referred to Dr. Patel by my usual dermatologist because I needed a more advanced surgical procedure done on my neck. My dermatologist was confident that Dr. Patel had the expertise to perform the procedure in the most minimally-invasive way possible, and she was right! Dr. Patel did the procedure in her Germantown office, and it was quick and painless and much less scary than I thought it would be! Because of her suturing technique, my scar is barely visible. Very happy with Dr. Patel and my results!

I had an excellent experience at the office, with minimal waiting time and very friendly, welcoming staff. They put my anxiety at ease. Dr. Patel started the encounter by presenting treatment care options and helped me to decide on a care plan. Her expertise was very evident as she proceeded with my treatment. She stopped often during procedure and asked how I was doing! Great bedside manner. I was very happy and satisfied with the end result and I plan on returning!

One of the best doctors I have ever experienced. Friendly, explains in detail the procedure and treated me professionally but I felt as if I was a friend or family. Her staff is friendly and compassionate , answers without hesitation any questions you may have .
