OMG, where do I begin!! This dentist office, Dr. Shin & his staff, are AMAZING!!!! I was referred to them by a friend 8 years ago (due to my hubbys new job & its insurance) and it was the best choice EVER! From the first day my daughters & I stepped into their office, were always greeted with a warm friendly smile and welcome by Bethany Thorng, an EXTRAORDINARY young lady. She made a wonderful first impression with us that made us feel comfortable, answered any questions that I had, and worked with my busy schedule to get appointments for us and it still continues to this day. Dr. Shins Dentist Assistants & Hygienists is just as SPECTACULAR! They always talk to you to calm your nerves, explain what they are going to do, talk you through the procedure, follow up to make sure you understand and give suggestions for self-care at home. And so I save the best for last, the BACKBONE, THE MAN...Dr. Shin. Dr. Shin is PHENOMENAL! You can tell he loves what he does and knows his stuff. He is also a big kind-hearted person with a smile who makes you feel comfortable and at ease, even while youre in "the chair" and hes holding a needle to give you a shot to numb you. And the best part is, you dont even feel it. Like his assistants and hygienists, he walks you through what needs to be done, talks you through it, and make sure you understand what hes talking about. If youre like me, hell put things in the simplest form from the dental terms. As you can tell, I can go on and on about Pacific Family Dentistry...all POSITIVE things! And as you can see, Im not the only one who feels so strongly about this office. So if you need to see a dentist or had a bad experience, I would suggest you call or stop by to make an appointment to see and feel the experience of what all these people, along with myself, has posted.

Dr. Shin has been my dentist for over 10 years. In my opinion, he is among the very best of the best dentists. Hes very kind and gentle yet highly skilled and he treats me like I was a dear family member. He has very successfully performed many dental procedures on my mouth including fillings, crowns, bone transplant and a tooth implant. Also he is always there for me at a moments notice if I happen to have a dental emergency. In addition to all of this I feel like we have become friends over the years. I highly recommend Dr. Shin. Dr. Shins dental team are also top notch and seem to love their jobs. Hygienists Jennifer and Charmayne and assistants Ashly and Sasha are also very good and treat you gently. Dental coordinator Bethany always has on top of everything including insurance, billing scheduling. Everyone always has a bright an cheerful attitude.

I have been going to Pacific family dentistry for a couple of years now. growing up i had absolutely horrible experiences with my dentist/orthodontist, when i finally was on my own seeing the dentist was the last thing i wanted to do. Dr. Shin and staff have changed my persective on going to the dentist. The staff is always friendly and gentle. my childhood was full of pain when it came to seeing the dentist and it still shows when im about to get a shot to numb me for dental work, but the very first time i sat in the chair and had them fix a filling i didnt feel the needle. I highly reccomend this office to my coworkers and even to friends out of state. If your looking for a great dentist that takes the time to make sure your comfortable and take care of any issues your have this is the one to go to.

I am a new patient of Dr. Shin. I felt comfortable in his office and feel that he really cares. Really caring is a big deal to me. The last dentist I went to hurried me through the appointment so much that I didnt feel cared about. I have TMJ and need to take breaks when my mouth is open and this last dentist ignored my requests for occasional breaks. I like Dr. Shin. He listened to my concerns and took the time to patiently explain the options that I had for the teeth I was concerned with. I love his receptionist, she is awesome. I called and talked to her when I was searching for a new dentist and she was so kind and informative that I felt compelled to make an appointment. Thanks Pacific Family Dentistry!

The entire staff has been fantastic every time I have gone in. They represent the very best of what customer service is about. When I lost my insurance they worked with me so my oral health has never suffered. This was through three fillings and some other minor work that needed to be done. Dr. Shin is thorough and also very caring in explaining every step of the process and giving me choices that I make. I wish I had a Dentist such as Dr. Shin and his staff when I was growing up. I now look forward to my dental visits because of this great team.

Ive been going to this dental office for about 8 years and I probably couldnt find one thing to complain about! The second you walk in youre always welcomed by your name, which makes you feel like you are important to this practice. The girls in the back always take great care of me and are very thoughtful. Charmayne, who cleans my teeth, always makes sure Im very educated in my oral health. Dr Shin, always takes great care of me. Hes very conscience of how I feel and of my pain tolerance, hes definitely very gentle! They are a keeper! :)

Office is very clean. The staff is friendly and fun. They dont make you feel bad if you havent been to the dentist in ahem 5 years ahem ....Paperwork is easy ....referall has map and directions printed ....not looking forward to removing my wisdom teeth but I trust the doctors referral. They also were able to email me my xrays while Im still sitting here in the office. Very very cool up to date equiptment. I was able to get a full 360 degree view of my tooth neglect haha ! BETTER SMILE here I come AND I have no other cavities! Rock out !

Ive been to Dr. Shins office a number of times for cleanings and dental work. I actually needed to get a tooth extracted and everything was done very well and recovery was quick and without complications. Hes very up front about the options available to you as a patient and goes over every procedure and explains it thoroughly if you have any questions. The staff is extremely friendly and professional and even follows up on treatments to check up on you! I definitely recommend this office to anyone in need of great dental care!
