Not sure what goes on in this office but not happy. Boys love the dentist but I question their ability. Been with then 1 1/2 years. 1st appointment went great but had to go back to get teeth removed and spacers on my 9 year olds teeth. On my way to the appointment they called and canceled. Too late to not take off work. so rescheduled took another 3 weeks to get in. got there they removed the teeth. got home and asked to see it and not spacers. they forgot to put them in. Rescheduled. another 2 weeks. they called and canceled. Rescheduled. 2 more weeks. got in and all was good. 1st spacer fell out in about 2 months. called they said not to worry about it they would put it back in on his next visit ( that will be in May 6 months latter. 2nd spacer fell out about 2 months before his next visit. called to make sure they knew. They said not to worry he was at an age that he didnt really need them ?? then why did you put then in? They Before the next visit they called and canceled and rescheduled. I work so try to schedule all doctor visits on the same day so I dont have to take so many days off work. so I call my dentist and the Eye doctor and reschedule all appointments around this dentist. The call and cancel this appointment and reschedule. I can not reschedule My dentist for the same day but I do reschedule the eye doctor for the same day. Works out good because they are both in Corydon. so now Im off 2 days instead of 1. Ok they called and rescheduled for they day they called. I have to leave work to get them in the dentist or wait another month. Ok what ever lets get this done. Ok one of the boys has to have a tooth filled. I let them pick the day and time. I also have to have a tooth filled. so I call my dentist to schedule for the same day. I go to work today fill out a vacation form for this day and just received an ok. I also just got a call that the dentist will not be in that day and they need to reschedule. ARE YOU SERIOUS! This is the most un professional office I have ever been to. A bargain department store with a close out sale is more organized and dependable then this office. If I could give then no starts I would.

I love Mortenson Family Dental in Corydon, especially Nancy & Dr. Elias. My family has been going there for at least 6 years; maybe longer. I have high expectations and have nothing but good things to say. I am treated like family and with respect (even on the day where my horrible root canal pain made me not a very nice person). I trust their professional opinion; and feel they want what is best for us. They provide education and awareness for both preventative dental care and also existing issues. They are honest and upfront with probable causes, recommendations, procedures, and net cost. I do not feel pressured to do anything I dont want to do to myself or my young children. Mortenson Family Dental is Corydon offers solid dental care, a family atmosphere, and commendable small town business ethics. I was excited when they launched Dentistree last year and have been pleased with the pediatric dentist Dr. Phillips. Hes like a grandpa to my young children and they are comfortable with him. The rooms are open; and parents may go back with their children. Mortenson & Dentistree share the waiting room which contains a playhouse and toys for the young ones. The exam rooms are open. There are no doors on the rooms; except for one all-window door in the hallway. If you step out of the room, you can still see and hear everything. The kids rooms are decorated in themes and have a TV on the ceilings. One of my children has unfortunately had to have a couple of crowns and fillings. Dr. Phillips and staff made the experience as pleasant as possible. I believe the Corydon Dentistree is a great place. My children still like going to the dentist, and I think that speaks wonders.

If they got rid of the secretary this dentist office would be great! She is the rudest, most phoney, smug person I have ever met. I have been going there for about 2 years and after the most RECENT encounter with her, I will not be going back! The last time I went I was telling my hygienist about my recent enrollment in law school (U of L Brandies School of Law) explaining to my hygienist that I couldnt pronounce the "Brandies" part because my professors say it differently. Nancy, while eves dropping, responds very matter of fact, "So its not that you cant say it. Its that you DO NOT KNOW HOW to say it." Ummm excuse me?? You are a secretary at a dentists office... Tell me about your education?? Now most recently she has called me at 3:30p when the office closes at 4 telling me that she must get a verbal confirmation of my appointment by 12:00p the next day... Too bad I have a job and dont have lunch until 12p. Needless to say I wont be going to that appointment or any other appointment!

I love this office and all the people in it! I HATE going to the dentist, but I dont mind going here. Everyone is friendly and very kind. They accommodate any need I have. Ive had extensive work done in the past at different offices and was always terrified...at Mortensons in Corydon, they took the fear away. Dr. Elias is the BEST shot giver EVER. Even that awful shot in the roof of my mouth was PAINLESS! Usually I want to slap the dentist in the face. :) Not this time, so no worries, Dr. Elias. Seriously, I love this office. Im shocked at the bad reviews and lack of good ones. Thats why I chose to leave one!

My wife made an appointment and unfortunately had to re-schedule due to the death of her mother. The lady in charge of scheduling was extremely rude to my wife and told her "Well Good luck finding another appointment in the next 6 mos you blew it" I was furious when I heard this and asked for someone in charge. To my horror she said she was in charge. What the heck! We called back a few days later and found out through another employee there where several openings within the same month. 6mos. She said? Customers be ware.

The staff is pleasant but if you are looking for a dentist who has compassion, keep looking. My husband was in a lot of pain with tooth broken below the gum line. It would be a week before he could get a consultation and follow up removal. Dr Elias would not give him anything for pain. Dentist such as this are why so many people fear dentists. I broke my appointment and told the lady in the office that I would look for someone with a heart. My husband wound up using whiskey for his pain! That is unacceptable.

Mortonsons in Corydon, In. is Awful! It is to dentistry what McDonalds is to the hamburger. What Chain-Gang. Walk in the door and be sure you have lots of money to pay for Wrong diognoses. I was a patient of Mortonsons for 8 years. Not just in Corydon, In., but Shelbyville Ky. Not anymore. Im so lucky to have found Dr. S Aub?, in Shelbyville, Ky. Hope this gets posted. Thanks, Denise
