Today was the first day in 9 years I have been able to smile un-self-consciously. The staff and Dr. Hiers are quite simply the best dentist office I have ever visited in my entire life. Had I grown up with a dentist like Dr. Hiers in my area, I likely wouldnt have needed the level of care I received this weekend and I am glad his office exists for those kids in this area who can count on him for a lifetime of care ahead. Apart from the friendliness and family feel of the office, their professionalism and quality of care, right down to the technology in their office is top notch. I had a root canal, tooth replacement, and several crowns all at once and never felt a thing. This morning, I woke up to a brilliant, stunning smile in the mirror and owe it all to Dr. Hiers. He and his staff have my deepest gratitude and I cannot recommend them enough to anyone considering any level of dental care, from the simplest cleaning to the biggest restorative job. *EDIT* As Google wont allow a second comment from the same account, I had to edit this one to add some follow up comments after my most recent visit which concluded the multi-month process required to get my permanent solution to a broken tooth. As usual, Dr. Hier and staff were amazingly professional, courteous, and gentle. Apart from dental expertise, it seems everyone in that office is an expert on people. They possess empathy and compassion and seem to work toward anticipating needs and addressing them before you even ask. I look forward to the years ahead in taking care of teeth under Dr. Hiers care.

I will never go back to him ever ever ever again! Went in for a filling, during my procedure he left to go work on someone elses mouth, then came back and finished the procedure. After it was done I told him my tooth was in a lot of pain. He replied that if I was in anymore pain after 2 hours to call him immediately to receive a prescription for my tooth ache. We called the office to tell Dr. Hiers I was still in pain and my tooth ache was worse. He replied to my mother saying he doesnt understand why my tooth hurts and said he would call us back. Never called back. We called again and the receptionist told us he was taking a leave.... This was within a 4 hour period. We tried to get a hold of Dr. Stanton who also was working there at the time. The receptionist told us she was on vacation ( which later on we found out she was not on vacation but left Dr. Hiers office permanently) we kept calling repeatedly to see if there was anything we could do. No one gave us an answer let alone any medication. Dr. Hiers would not talk to us to fix his mistake. We ended up having to go to an oral surgeon who told us I needed a root canal. When I told him my experience with Dr. Hiers his entire office was appalled at how I had been treated. We had been going to Dr. Hiers for years. In conclusion if you want to see Dr. Hiers I highly dont recommend him unless you want to spend 200$ on a tooth brush or want to pay an oral surgeon to fix a simple filling!!! Find Dr. Stanton she is amazing!!!! ( she use to work with him but is now in Salisbury md.)

A065 Like everyone, I never exactly enjoyed a visit to a dentist - nor, for that matter, to any doctor. After all, its not usually a social call, is it? But, finally acknowledging that my ivories needed serious attention, I visited Eastern Shore Smile Solutions. I cannot remember looking forward to a visit to a dentists office in my previous sixty-seven years, but that happens when I visit Dr. Hiers and his staff, including Dr. Stanton and Dr. Morrow. Admittedly, it happens for post-procedural or "light" visits, not so much for significant procedures that will never be especially pleasant under any circumstances. Still, I know that Dr. Hiers is extremely knowledgeable, conscientious beyond question about his patients health and his field and, equally important, carries a sense of humor with him to be used when called for. It is this sense of humor, that of Dr. Heirs and each of his staff members, together with a professional yet relaxed atmosphere in the office, that flavor a necessary visit with the humanness needed by patients during what can otherwise be very stressful times.

I had thoughts about veneers for over 5 or 6 years. After discussing it with Dr. Stanton, she said I was a perfect candidate. So I proceeded. Dr. Stanton is a very professional dentist, I could tell she takes pride in her work. As there were quite a few visits involved, I highly recommend doing research on the procedure so you know exactly what to expect, even though Dr. Stanton & her assistant had explained EVERYTHING! I learned that color choice is very important, and after consulting with Patti in the office, I decided to "go white". The final result was VERY NICE! The veneers improved the shape and shade of my teeth for a BRIGHTER SMILE! I am glad that I decided to do it, and highly recommend Dr. Stanton (5 Stars!) and her assistant Kelly - the whole staff at Eastern Shore Smile Solutions were so helpful and friendly. Thank you ALL!

They make you feel special! Every time I go for an appointment, I feel like they truely put my satisfaction first. They offer water and coffee in the waiting room, they come out and tell you about how much longer until you are seen and just overall try to make you feel as comfortable as possible. As far as the dental care, I can always trust what they tell me and know that the care I get will be top notch! All of the hygenists are great, my favorite is Rhonda. Both Drs Hiers and Stanton are thorough and extremely knowledgable and compitent with any problems or questions that I have presented them with. This is about as good as it gets when you have to visit a dentists office! I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new dentist to consider visiting Eastern Shore Smile Solutions.

I am so lucky to have found a dental practice as good as Eastern Shore Smile Solutions. When I was young, I went to an old school dentist that really hurt me and was not pleasant at all. I was so scared of Him and his staff, Novacaine Was out of the question because he hurt me so bad by the injection. I would have as many as 4 Cavities filled at a time without a numbing agent. Wow talk about pain. I have been so impressed with Dr. Stanton and Patty Morgan. They have treated me with the most amazing care and information. I wish that I could have been exposed to this wonderful experience when I was a young child. I have very little pain or discomfort. Thank you so much you all for taking such good care of my teeth and I. I highly recommend this place for everyone!

My family and I have patients of Dr. Hiers and Dr. Stanton for 6+ years. They have always been wonderful and caring and make us feel that they will do anything to correct any problems we may be having. They are alway considerate and accommodating on all levels. We have never felt like they were rushing our appointment because they had someone else waiting. With more extensive procedures, they are always consciencious about comfortability and pain control. The staff is always friendly and personable and willing to help make the visit a positive experience. They dont have to review our charts to remind themselves who we are. They are great dentists and very people orientated.
