I wish there were ratings of half stars so I could rate lower than a one star rating. My experience was terrible from the moment I arrived until the end of my appointment. Lets start from the very beginning. My appointment was initially at 3:45 PM. The office decided to call me and ask if I could come in at 3:30 PM instead; being that I have a busy schedule and work an 8-5, I was nice and agreed. I walked in and two girls one of which is named Ashley did not greet me. They looked me in the face and went back to looking at their computers. Roughly, about 7 minutes later one girl asked if I was waiting to pick someone up. I politely stated no that I was here for my 3:30 appointment. (Now I work in downtown Baltimore, so I gave myself a substantial amount of time to get to the Belair office and in doing so I arrived 30 minutes early to avoid the heavy traffic that I endure 5 days a week. The girl then proceeded to state to me in a smart tone, "You do realize that you are really early?" I said yes but, that it was quite alright. She then rolled her eyes. I continued to read their outdate magazines from February 2016 when yet another girl proceeded to say the same, "Is your name....? Well, you are like really early." A large part of me wanted to express to her that I was 28 years old and completely capable of telling time, although, I remained calm and shrugged it off with a smile and said, "Yes, I know." After waiting for not 30 minutes but, 38 minutes the dental hygienist called me in at 3:38 PM and sarcastically stated, "Come on back, the super early one." Now, at this point I am very puzzled as to why this office has an issue with clients/patients arriving early. I mean if they did not want you to wait they should remove the chairs and outdated magazines and brochures from their "waiting area." Its not like I was complaining or demanded to be seen at that moment. I wanted to cancel my appointment at that moment but, I was already there and I wanted to avoide any drama of their business trying to charge me a cancel fee. The dental hygienist wasnt as bad as the ladies at the reception desk. Then, as she began cleaning my teeth, I noticed how heavy her hand was at digging underneath my gums to the point where I felt like I was bleeding. Now, you may be thinking... Maybe my teeth are not that clean, although that couldnt be more untrue. I am very particular with my dental hygiene. After being stabbed in the gums and scrapped to an immense pain the cleaning was finally over, thank goodness. The dental hygienist then proceeded to tell me how nice my teeth were but, it was difficult cleaning my teeth due to my tight teeth and gums. Thats interesting, I thought people in this kind of profession should make it a point to keep their patients comfortable? Maybe, that concept no longer exists these days. The Doctor then came in to check on me, a young doctor in his mid-30s who was very kind. Thank goodness someone there has some people skills. He checked out everything and stated that my teeth looked great. I thanked him instead of giving him this entire explanation of why the experience was horrible, he shouldnt have to deal with the stress of it. As I left, I decided not to make another appointment for personal reasons. My very first appointment was somewhat similar to this experience as well, although I gave it another shot hoping the second time would be better. I was wrong. By the way, my gums are still in discomfort. I rarely ever make reviews or comments but, this experience was just awful. It would be great if this office would take the time to appreciate their clientele and treat them with more respect. Afterall, first impressions are lasting impressions.

A warm, inviting office decor and friendly staff greets you as you first walk in. Your wait time is surprisingly short, compared to most doctors offices and the magazines are actually recent, not from months or years ago. The support staff is very friendly and helpful and have all been there a long time. They know many of their patients so well, they often dont even need to ask their name as they walk in the door. Its always comforting to see a business owner who clearly has great judgement, and knows how to hire and keep great staff. Having happy, long term staff, speaks volumes about the overall office environment and how the staff and patients are treated. It is clearly evident that every decision Dr.Reznik makes is to ensure long term, successful growth of his practice. And that is only achieved by keeping everyone in mind and creating win/win situations for his patients, staff, and the local community. As an office, they regularly organize donation drives among the staff to help a local animal shelter and collaborate on other volunteer opportunities. This is truly the epitome of what a successful, local, small business looks like, and Im proud to be one of their patients. Full disclosure.. Im Dr.Rezniks sister.. but, I also live 5 hours away in Virginia and have been driving to see my dentist since he opened his office years ago. :-) He really is a great doctor and I truly enjoy his staff!

I had a very high anxiety about dental visits and avoid them at all costs! Then my husband started seeing Dr. Reznik! He loves him and his bedside manner. They then talked about my phobias and next thing I know, I was sitting in his dental chair coming up with a plan. He makes you very comfortable and understands exactly what his patient needs! I highly recommend him to everyone!!!

I go to a different dental group but it was so hard to get a last minute appointment. So I tried Dr Resnicks office since I needed to make an emergency appointment due to a toothache. The receptionist was kind enough to oblige. Dr Gentry carefully examined me and gave me a few options. This was the most no-stress visit ever. Thank you so much!

Dr. Gentry explained my dental procedure before beginning and throughout the process. His calming, professional manner made the experience as pleasant as possible. The office staff are also to be commended for their efficient and pleasant personalities. I would highly recommend Dr. Gentry and the office of Dr. Reznik.
