My daughter and son-in-law, who are far too nice to post their frustration here, conveyed to me their experience with this physician. They just became eligible for his new jobs insurance plan and went for a check-up and to establish a relationship with a new doctor. My daughter was met with a doctor who extolled the virtue of his 37 years experience and pointed out a 2 page explanation entitled FLU VACCINE EXCUSES which, on every bullet point told the reader that if they did not get annual flu vaccines they were a Dumb A, a Cheap Dumb A, a Paranoid Dumb A, etc. When my daughter asked for the doctor to discuss the positives and negatives of this vaccine (especially since she might want to get pregnant soon), he closed mindedly said she MUST get the shots. And that she will HAVE to get them anyway if she gets pregnant. She said she was not comfortable doing it yesterday (11/2/2015), yet he instructed the nurse to go and get the shots anyway. The nurse presented them and prepared to open the package, when my daughter once again said she was not ready to go forward. These people were not willing to take no for an answer. The doctor even went so far as to tell my son-in-law that my daughter had INDEED taken the shots to coerce him in to taking them also. At no point could the doctor or nurse have any confusion about my familys intentions to merely learn more about the vaccines and whether it was a good idea for them. This doctor is nothing but a bully and thug. I have contacted the State Medical Board about their conduct. Since when is ok for a curious person seeking understanding, get met with Gestapo Tactics like this and get away with it. My daughter left the doctor in tears and sufficed to say, will never visit this doctor again. I am reporting this to you all, so that you can make an informed decision about this physician. If you like being directed on what to do by a tyrant, you will probably love him.

I just moved in Katy area looking for a looking for in practice that I could move my entire family too. I stumbled upon the village practice and was hoping that this was going to be a pleasant experience. What I actually received was the opposite of pleasant. I went in for my well-woman exam and my doctor was Dr. Lee Edwards. She wasnt very unpleasant and not friendly. I tried to tell her about my cough that I had for several weeks. She never address those concerns at all in fact she just prescribed me a prescription for smoking cessation. She made the entire woman examination very uncomfortable and when I left out the room I felt as if I was examined by a robot instead of a human being. I have never met a doctor with less compassion and no bedside manner as I did that day. Later on that night, I could not breathe. I went to Methodist Hospital and was there for over 5 hours and had to get a chest x-ray. They diagnosed me with bronchitis and had to take antibiotics and Albuterol to help me breathe. I should have never had to go to the hospital if I went to the doctor earlier that day and if she would have listened to what I was telling her instead of stereotyping me as a black female smoker then maybe she wouldnt have missed the diagnosis. I encourage that everyone do more research in the doctors you still up as your PCP. Your life can depend it. Needless to say, I will not be going back to that doctor!!!

Actually, I would give them less that 1 star. The service was unfair! I arrived for my appointment and they took at least 10 people ahead of me. I saw Dr Lee Edwards, and it was a disastrous experience. In her make-shift examination, she showed absolutely no interest in my concerns or my symptoms. Her bedside manor is deplorable!!! I gave her my symptoms and she gave me nothing!! She did not address me or my husband when asked questions. I have never been so disappointed and disrespected in my life by a "doctor". Needless to say, I will NEVER return to this practice. As a patient, I expected this doctor to help me with the arthritis pain I had in my knees and ankles. Instead I received her opinion of how she keeps her weight off. She was condescending and rude! I am a professional registered nurse for 30 years. I chose this practice as my PCP in Katy,TX. I would never let a patient leave my presence without their questions answered. I have reported this doctor and this practice to my insurance company. In addition, I have reported her to the Texas Board of Medicine. She needs remedial classes on caring for her patients!! And this practice needs to rethink her tenure.

Do not trust Dr Mehta. He told me he would fill a prescription for three months that I need daily. He flat out refused to fill the third month. I had to go back and forth with his nurse just to get ten days of pills. He totally lied to me and left me in a lurch. See anyone else but this man. Only an awful person would do this.

AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! After I had been there for a year and 6 months my doctor switched practices I was given a new one who refused to see me anymore. They ended up never billing and sending it straight to collection. Absolute crooks! Less then 1 star.

Outstanding experience with both staff and Dr Mehta. Top notch and cutting edge patient portal as well. Love it. Was taken back in good time & he was attentive with great "bedside manner".
