My animals have been clients at this office for 20+ years and honestly I was always happy, untill they changed over to VCA!!! I recently brought my 6 year old chihuahua to the office because he was sick. The doctor took some blood work and told me my dog has lyme diease, we started him on a pain killer and antibiotics. He felt better soon after. I was told my dog will need to stay on these antibiotics for the rest of his life. That doctor visit cost me over $300... I called them today(4 months later) to let the doctor know that my baby is not feeling to good, thinking they would tell me to come get more antibiotics, NOOOOOO, they want to see him again. The visit alone is $62 then more blood work at $150 then the price of the meds ect... Here we go another $300 bill. I am a single female with no kids, I work but my money is tied up in bills and im hardly making it, I love animals and work with them for a living, my dogs are my children. When I explaned to them what my situation was, and letting them know I could afford his script but not another vet bill, they told me "maybe you should put him down then" My blood boiled. I make sure that dog has his shots, and vet care when needed, I would starve before I let him go without food. I would do anything for my dogs, and for them to be so un-caring was really hurtful. I have faithfully used this vet for 20 years. So I just want to let everyone know Dr. Stone and Dr. Vandestadt do not care about the well being of your animal they ONLY care about how much cash you have in your wallet. So after 20 years I am on a search for a new veterinarion and I am going to make sure that person loves and cares for my dogs (my children) the way that I do.

I just wanted to say how welcoming this Vet Hospital made me feel. My dog was bit at a dog park and my original vet office was closed the day it happened, this office was able to get my dog in to be seen asap even tho we were not clients. My dog had a puncture wound near her eye that could of been a dangerous situtation. My dog was very timid and they were so calm with her and patient. They even gave her a pink elephant stuffed toy because she was such a good girl. (By the way thats the only toy she seems to play with right now) If I havent already established a Vet for my dog I would definitely keep this office. Thank you so much for taking good care of Bella! She is doing great!!!

VCA Bristol helped us with our buddy Thump Diggitty in what would be the final couple weeks of his life. Thump was almost 13 and was a beloved family pet from his kitten days. They guided us with blood work and tests, medication and information about the situation. When the time came to say good bye to our buddy, they were kind, informative, compassionate and I felt they really cared that we had to make this decision and that it wasnt an easy one for us. I was a crying mess. My husband felt the shock of everything the next day. Our remaining cat is struggling with losing the brother we didnt think he would ever take to. The care both for our pet and for us was gracious and genuine.

I couldnt be more impressed with the accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly staff at this facility. I was in town visiting family and my dog became ill. I called in and was given several options for appointment times. When I arrived, the ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The Doctor and his assistant were caring and gentle, and were able to diagnose the problem within minutes. I was in-and-out and the prices were fair. A day later and my dog is already getting back to being her normal self! If I lived in the area, this would definitely be my vet of choice. Thank you Bristol VCA! Keep up the great work.

I brought my cat in to be euthanized. I receieved a same day appointment and overall it was a decent experience. The facility was not the cleanliest looking and although she was doing her job properly, I was not particually keen on the attitude of one of the secretarys at the front. However, the rest of the staff I came in contact with provided a very peaceful and calming environment. The veterinarian was extremely gentle and her aid was very patient. They were very caring and were willing to work with me as I laid my kitty to rest. The office seems average but definitely worth a visit.

I wont say it was cheap. But twice, our dog was about to die, and both times, between them and the recommended hospital, she was saved. Honestly, I can care less, how much it costs. If they can bring back our dog like they did not once, but twice. They are truly great.

Doctor was gentle, kind and compassionate to both me and my dog. It made a big difference in her care. Staff was caring, kind and gentle too. Really made a difficult day much more gentle on both of us.

The vet was rude! I called the office after I got home and never received a call back! They are more concerned about money than they are about your pet! I would not recommend this vet to anyone!

They were very nice and helpful with my sick kitten. Helped treat however they could and gave me plenty of information to make sure she recovered.

Excellent staff. Very knowledgeable and caring. We even got a follow up call to check on our cat. Our family Drs dont even do that.

Our dog hurt her back and this place helped her out on a Sunday... If we lived closer it would be our go to vet.
