I felt that Aspen Dental was like going to those "quick" oil change places...you could tell the staff was uncomfortable because they are taught to push unnecessary services rather than provide quality care/service. My husband needed a tooth extracted..had been in pain for over 3 days. When he asked specific questions to the Dentist about his dental problem...she responded with no answers...and when he asked if he could get the tooth extracted that day--after he had already spent 2 hrs waiting...her reply was that Aspen Dental closes at 6p and it would be done the next day. He asked if he should continue the meds that he had for pain...again...no reply. Thus he left Aspen Dental with PAIN...a very bad cavity which either needed to have a root canal or be extracted. The next morning, we found a another Dentist , who was accepting new patients...and with one phone call, was instructed to be at their office by 830a. His tooth was evaluated and extracted...and was back home before 10a. The price that was quoted to me at Aspen Dental, was over $80 for the same service that was performed by another Dentist. In brief...He arrived at Aspen Dental with tooth pain...and left Aspen Dental with no dental work and still....tooth pain.

Remember that first and foremost, this is a corporation. Corporations will always value profit over your personal care. It is the stock holders that hold them to this standard. That being said, let me explain my experience with this dentist. The staff here is very friendly, so I gave them a star. Unfortunately, their hands are tied by their higher HQ. They constantly hit me with high prices and charge me for errors that are made by the dentists. Their chosen method to surprise me and my wife is as follows: 1. Make me pay up front for what was scheduled 2. Numb me all up in preparation 3. Have someone come back to tell me that they actually need to do more than expected 4. Having a stupid numb face, I cant show my anger 5. Failing to understand my Aetna insurance plan, causing me to pay more than I actually needed to 6. Putting a "credit" back into my profile for later visits 7. Waiting weeks to get the credit put back on the card originally used for the transaction And finally, everything seems to be answered by crown. Simple cavity, crown. Chipped veneer, crown. Cleaning, crown. I am done here.

Arrived to this office in severe dental pain, waited to be seen over an hour, then left in severe dental pain. It took the dentist all of about 15 second to tell me I need a root canal-which by the way I was referred to a root canal specialist who happens to charge $500 for one root canal. I informed the dentist I wouldnt be able to afford that until I had time to save up; 2-3 weeks. Even in severe pain, I was completely aware the African American female dentist could care less about my pain level and the fact that I didnt have $500 at the time. She basically expected me to just be in pain until I could afford the root canal! She flat out refused to numb the tooth after repeated requests. She absolutely had no bed side manner and didnt even bother to hide her unprofessional uncaring attitude. I will do my very best to warn everyone I know not to go to Aspen - all because of that African American female dentist. All I can wish is that when its her turn to be in the chair as a patient, shell receive better care than she provided to me.

Another corparation out looking to make their pockets fatter. If I paid you in cash for a procedure that I havent even received yet, and I ask for a refund, I should be able to get said price back when I come in. Telling me you dont have the funds available seems like a bold face lie. I know Im not the only one who has paid in cash. You have the funds available. Now I have to wait 7-14 business days ( oh and I get no receipt showing Im getting a refund because they dont have that available) for the money I was going to use towards a FULL PAYMENT of the exact same amount I put a little less than half of to get the exact same procedure done which honestly is pretty expensive to get without any real pain meds. Pretty disapointed with a company I thought would be legit.

Well for a while now Ive had a minor toothache and all of a sudden it hurt to the point I could not stand it. I called 4 other dentist offices and all of which said they could not get me in today. I tried to stay away from aspen because all my friends said they stay busy and wouldnt be able to see me that day well I called anyway they got me in within 3 hours and said it would be 253$ for the extraction they pulled it right away and then only charged me 150 after being quoted 253!!! Staff was completely professional and friendly and I love the dentist at this office I will definitely be having the rest of my dental work done here. Rating from 1 to 10 I give a 15. You wont regret the decision of coming here!!!

I just finished 7 months worth of work for my new dentures! It would have been 6 but my bridge got messed up and had to be fully replaced! Every time I was in their office, everyone was kind and always smiling. They did everything to make me comfortable with my new teeth. Even having me in the twice a week for the past month. Yet it was all worth it in the end. I have a beautiful smile Im not afraid to show off! Honestly, if you are getting dentures, pay the extra money to get the comfort lite fit ones. They are worth the $9000 I spent. They fit perfectly and I can finally eat steak for the first time in over 8 years! Thank you Aspen Dental and staff. I couldnt be happier!

I had originally gone to get my wisdom teeth removed I was advised that it would not be painful. That was completely wrong. They first put the numbing medicine but dont even let it kick in, they immediately started cutting into my gums. I have never felt so much pain immediately. The staff was okay, they should really act like they at least care about their patients. I myself work in a clinic with tons of patients and I would never treat them the way this staff did to me. My full price for all 4 wisdom teeth removed was over $1,200 they wouldnt go any lower and thats with no insurance. I was very disappointed and I would not recommend my patients or family to this place.

Had my first visit yesterday. It was way Better than what I expected. Ive been told they were good but they were awesome. They were friendly and kind. The assistant that did my ex ray was nice and quick, the one to check my gums and do my cleaning was thorough and explained everything well. We even laughed and she had good rapport. The dentist was a little dry but she did her job. The office manager really worked with the numbers and payment options so that I was able to get what was needed and what I wanted and she was not pushy. Overall, I had a great experience and Im glad I chose them. Im looking forward to having all the work completed.
