I see that there are no reviews for this particulare branch and after reading several other comments made towards Banfield as a company I felt obligated to write this review in their defense. First off, I would like to say I like Banfield and have referred my friends to them. I have seen a lot of comments about how the are expensive, out to rob you, dont care, and give bogus diagnoses. Personally, this is all false. I have used Banfield for all my pets (10yrs - from CA to CT) because one I think paying ~ $270 per yr for unlimited visits (anywhere in the US, convenient when I travel to visit family), all shots and all exams isnt too much to pay. Anytime I had been out of town and needed Rabies proof to be fax to a dog sitter/camp site they have always come through for me. Maybe $270 is too much but you will spend that in the first visit with another vet if not the 2nd visit. I know I have called around. Granted I do understand there are certain places where cost of living may be lower an a individual vet may be cheaper. I am not saying Banfield will always be a better value, there is a lot of factors to consider obviously. As a owner you have to be smart about the decision you make. I actaully have had more issues with private vets then I have had with Banfield. So to stop the novel I will list some Pro and Cons about banfield. Pros: Good people, they care for animals. Most test results are collected in house, regular maintenance for animal is NOT expensive (one price shown upfront depending on the insurance plan you pick), any medicine can be purchased there, unlimited visits anywhere in the US, unlimited calls, emergency visit are available without appointment, regular visit can be schedule within the week, boarding available. You gain the most benefit on the puppy/kitten plan vice senior plans (cost to treatment ratio does not balance out so much with senior plans). Cons: Treatment or testing done outside the insurance plan can add up. I know. I had a special needs cat. Depending on what is done it can get pricey. However this maybe because they are consider a "hospital" and because they are a small hospital it is harder for the to keep stuff in stock which brings their cost up and yours. I always ask for the price for any medicine before buying it there and found out my options of purchasing it else where. Also they sometimes can get a little over zealous with recommending tests to be done if you mention an issue/concern. Be careful...I have had to put my foot down. I know my dog has lyme I dont need five test to prove otherwise. He is heathly and energtic beyond belief..obviously the lyme is not hurting him (for now). Lastly, as mentioned before plans for older animals are not as beneficial to invest in for the treatment you receive. They do cost more and the annual cost for them do make them the least appealing (private vet may be a better option here). Either way for my situation the pros by far out weigh the cons. Which is why I keep returning back to them in every state i have lived in. I have met some very nice and caring people at Banfield and so far my pets have not minded either. Which in the end it is about them. So if they approve then I will also approve and will continue to go back to Banfield. Hope this review helps.

This place sucks! I adopted 3 kittens from the same litter. One got sick, so I brought them here. You know what the vet told me? "Oh, hes just cold. Warm him up and hell have a chance". The vet rushed me in and out, I couldnt have been there for more than 20 minutes. Guess what, he was SICK, not cold, S-I-C-K. I brought him home and put him back with his litter just like the vet said and he passed what ever he had to the other two kittens and all three died. Thanks a lot you b****, Im not a Vet and even I could tell something was seriously wrong. I would never reccomend this place to anyone. P.s. after ALL THREE (3) of my kittens died, my friends mom told me some storied about this place. Her friend brought her dig there to get nutered and got a bad infection. So this place is lacking in skill and disinfectant.

I Brought My Rabbit Here For An Check Up And They Were Excellent To Her But This Past Weekend .. The Weekend Of August 29,30,2015 I Called Their Office Over A Dozen Times Because I Was Concerned For My Rabbit Who Was Sick She Was Eating Well I Kept Her Groomed And Well Taken Care Of My Rabbit Was Loosing All Of Her Weight I Called To Schedule An Appointment But They Were Booked The Exotic Doctor Said She Didnt Have Any More Room For Scheduling My Rabbit Died This Morning In My Arms And I Feel Iike I Lost My Best friend I Only Called So They Can Help But They Are Always To Busy And The Exotic Doctor Is Always On Vacation Just Horrible ... But Sleep In Peace Thumpy I Love You 08/31/15

Ive tried to cancel and there is a new excuse they give me every time to why im not canceled. I was suppose to be canceled months ago and im still getting charged. I have two accounts with them and they wont stop billing me. Then send me to collections if i dont pay. I will NEVER use them again. Total Scam artists this company is. The staff at this location is great, but the company behind it is awful

Normally ive been pleased with them but the last 2 times i have gone the blonde girl at the front counter just has been rude.and no matter how friendly i try to be she just gives me a attitude. my cat goes there because i pay for the insurance. But now looking to cancel and go else where because i know the min i walk in the door im going to have a unpleasant experiance.her name is jennifer.

Banfield offices are pretty much get the animals in, get them out and charge double! Tried to push a vacinatuon shot that only applies to the local area after repeatedly telling the vet tech that we are about to move back to San Diego where that particular vaccination doesnt even apply. If you want to be overcharged and get what you need and leave this is your place

They put things in paperwork that are not true. They lie, the charge you for things that are covered under the preventative pet plans! They say the will order things like the wisdom panel for your next visit but never do! One blond lady seems to hate dogs and prosecuted mine as aggressive because he barked!

Really caring about my Oscar, who was sick for a long time. They took us whenever they could and were really kind to him. He saw them almost every other week for a year and they tried to help him doing everything possible. They referred us to specialists, too. In the end they were almost as sad as we were!

THE MOST HEARTLESS PEOPLE......I WAS TAKING MY DOGS THERE SEENS 2012 AND IN MARCH I HAD A SERIOUS EMERGENCY WITH ONE OF MY DOGS, I CALL THEM AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY COULD NOT SEE MY DOG BECAUSE I DIDNT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT.
