This is one of the most incredible group of veterinary professionals we have worked with over the past 14 years we had had our girls in our lives. I cant say enough about how talented, compassionate, and knowledgeable the MDs (such as Dr. Stacey Dallas) and staff are in helping our family. We have worked with NVH for the past 4 years and they have helped us with the most difficult choices and situations we have had to make as a family in caring for our black Labradors. Also, the new facility is amazing and I cant say enough about the responsiveness, friendliness, and understanding of each person on staff. Please do not believe the earlier comments as they are outdated since there has been a change in staff since they were written. If you want the best experience in veterinary care, I would highly consider checking them out.

I brought my puppy, James, who is a Chiweenie, to this office yesterday for the first time. He is very anxious and shy, and all of the staff were very welcoming and knew how to make him comfortable. They were very knowledgeable and had lots of advice for me. They also offer a puppy package, which makes all of the first year costs much more affordable. The package includes many vaccines, a treatment of heartgard and frontline, deworming, and a few lab tests. They broke down the costs for me of what he absolutely needed versus the puppy package, and the package was just so much more cost effective. They welcomed us back anytime that he wants to just go in for a cuddle and some treats, as well. I was very pleased! Other clients at the office seemed equally as happy with the services.

Worse place to take your pet. Unless you plan on killing your dog. Thats exactly what I had to do after being ignored about what I believe what was wrong with my dog. My only regret was i should of taken my dog elsewhere to be seen by someone who knew what they were doing. I still cry to this day about how my dog suffered. Now I take my newly adopted dog to banfield in waterbury. Had my dog neutered micro chiped nails clipped heartworm shot. Pain meds all for 130. After the surgery they called my house to check on my dog to check how he was doing. This place they never cared to check on my old dog im sure they have no clue my old dog is dead. I will never go back I wouldnt even bring in a rat to be taken care by them they are useless vets.

I would like to express my thanks to the staff at Naugatuck Veterinary Hospital for the excellent care they take of my beloved animal family members. The staff there is compassionate and caring. When one of my animals is sick I take comfort in knowing they are receiving the best care possible. Each and every staff member becomes acquainted with the patients that have to stay in the hospital as well as those who are coming for a wellness check up. They know who they are and why they are there. The communication among the staff ongoing daily with continual updates on the patients. I would highly recommend Naugatuck Veterinary Hospital for all your animals needs!

I am so thrilled that I found Naugatuck Vet Hospital when my baby (5 yr old Pitt) was having an emergency. Even though he wasnt already a patient of theirs, they had us bring him in right away to treat him. They were incredibly compassionate and kind, and when my dog (who is not necessarily fond of strangers) started licking the vet techs face with his tail wagging, we knew that he was in good hands. Dogs can always tell the character of people better than humans can, so we knew we made the right decision. Thank you Dr. Dan & the rest of the staff for making the best out of a bad situation.

My experience with NVH has been very good. The staff is professional and friendly and the Doctors are very nice. Our Jack Russell has had quite a few issues in her young 5 years and I found that the doctors go above and beyond. I have found they will consult other Veterinary specialists outside of Naugatuck if the situation is not clear cut and need to get another opinion. I really respect that. They will not do anything they are not equipped to do, instead they will refer you to a animal hospital that can, while keeping in contact with them and you the whole time.

We love Dr. Dallas but sometimes wonder if they are telling us everything or if they are just adding on extras to make more money. My dog got a bad case of fleas after leaving there. When you walk in this place you walk out with an empty wallet for about a months salary. Even the cost of office visit does not include anything and you get hit with a heart attack at check out. Also the girls that answer the phone sound so annoying and weird. Just answer the phone like a normal person.

The Dr. called me at 8pm to check on my dog. She understood that hes older and has bad anxiety when we come into the office so she prescribed him the meds he needed until we could get him there. Fantastic service and followups. It took 3 staff to hold my dog down to get blood work, I was so amazed by everyone one of them for their understanding of my old man. After they were done he was passing kisses around to them as they wiped the sweat off their smiling faces.

Ive been bringing my pets here for over 10 years. They have always been very compassionate and caring towards our animals. They try different things to specialize in comfort care and a more relaxing experience for the animals. They recently remodeled the waiting room a bit, and it looks much better. They have great hours that work around a working persons hours. They have great deals on care packages for kittens and puppies.

Yesterday was our first visit at NVH. Staff was warm and welcoming. Dr. Dan was AWESOME! Our dog was treated very compassionately by every staff member. His skin issue was identified and treated appropriately. We were given detailed instructions for continued home care. We will be back!

Took my dogs there for a flea bath and they still had fleas $140!! Went to Walmart and purchased $5 flea shampoo and now the fleas are gone!!
