The doctors are in it for the cash. After spending over 2,000 on test and not giving me any results they tried holding my dog hostage until I paid a certain amount off which is terrible to do to a family worried about their family member. Also to make it worse when my dog was sick we tried calling to bring him in and the doctor brushed it off and said he couldnt do anything and to bring him in the next day, but unfortunately my dog didnt make it overnight and we never got any results on any test. I dont even think they felt bad. I would stay away from here if you love your pets.

I took my senior dog in for simple shots and my dog left with medicine that made her weak and back legs weak also, callled back was told to bring back in they would TRY a new medicine and just let nature take its course. I did and one month later my dog is dead. I did call back within this time, one of the nurses I spoke to was being smart just unprofessional this was done all at a tune of $350.00. So I say pick your vets carefully I am heart brokenand angry they took my girl

September 11, 2011 Recovery was speedy thanks to the OUTSTANDING care and lots of love given to my 13 month old Nelson from all of the staff at Bay Shore Animal Hospital. They were all wonderful and Nelson is a very grateful puppy. I recommend Bay Shore Animal Hosp without reservations. Ivonne

Yes, they do a fantastic job and really do know there stuff. But if you want to remain friendly with them, youd better be prepared to spend at least a thousand if your pet has a problem. I personally have dog insurance. P.S. Dr Dratch is my favorite.
