I have switched to this office after Dr. OGrady in Torrington retired. I am so fortunate to have found Winsted Animal Hospital. The staff is sweet and caring (especially Judy) the office manager is very helpful and caring. Most of all, I had to make a very tough decision to put our 11 year old dog down. The technicians were understanding, genuinely caring, spoke kindly to me and Dr. Battista was an angel! She was kind, understanding and took her time with me. She was so gentle with my Chloe and didnt rush me to say goodbye. One of the worst days of my life (and my kids) we will forever miss Chloe. Somehow, this office made it as comforting as possible for Chloe and myself. I would highly recommend this vet.

Everyone was very helpful! You can tell that the entire staff has a true love for what they do because it shows. Dr. Laczak was so kind and answered every question we had about our kitten who had just had his eye removed. After each visit, we were sent home with information on the vaccines given and other helpful topics. I was more then pleased with the choice to use this vet. I highly recommend to anyone needing a new doctor or if you want to switch from then one you have already!

Ive been bringing my pets to Winsted Hospital For Animals for over 14 years...every single member of the staff always goes above and beyond to make the pets and owners feel welcome and loved! Whether it be for routine medical care or emergencies I would never go anywhere else. I recommend them highly! :)

The loving care and compassion of everyone associated with this practice is remarkable. They recently eased the passing of our elderly dog with such understanding and sensitivity that was a gift to our family. We have been patients for well over 30 years and we would never take our dogs anywhere else

The physicians, medical assistants, and the office staff are all wonderful. They always treated my dog as if she were one of their own. I highly recommend them!
