I cant say enough wonderful things about Affectionately Cats and its staff. Their level of care and compassion is exemplary; it far surpasses any other level of veterinary care we have received in the past (and we have been to many other practices in various states). They always go above and beyond for our two cats, who as of late have been experiencing ongoing health issues—from providing care even when they don’t have any available appointments, continuously calling us to check in on how they’re doing, answering all of our questions, to also being upfront and reasonable about the costs of medical care. I can’t imagine taking my cats to see any other vet(s) other than Dr. Berger and Dr. Kessler. We are so grateful for these two astounding vets, all of the wonderful vet techs, and the amazing front desk staff.

Dont take your cat here. Not only did they try to rip us off, they misdiagnosed our cat and put him through a month of needless suffering before we finally had to put him down. They refunded the money with a letter admitting fault and apologizing after I called them out on what they had done, but then they later sent a threatening letter demanding the money back (!?!). Not only was it ridiculous, it was deeply offensive and insensitive to have sent that letter while we were mourning our cats suffering and death which they contributed to. Needless to say they did not get the money back. These people are unethical scam artists, avoid them at all costs.

We brought two cats to get nuetered here. Both came home with stitches and we were told both surgeries had gone fine. A few weeks later one still has swelling and a possible uti. We brought him to another vet who examined him and told us he STILL HAD TESTICLES. We got a second opinion and yes, he had not in fact been nuetered. They opened him up, didnt remove his testicles, and charged us. NEVER BRING YOUR CAT HERE.

I cant recommend affectionately cats enough. They always treat us with exceptional kindness and patience and are insightful and knowledgeable when it comes to diagnosing our cats. We feel very comfortable and taken care of and totally trust them to help guide us in keeping our kitties happy and healthy.

Dr. Denise Kessler speaks cat. She understands that cats need a quiet space filled with cat-centered intuitive humans. She and her staff have taken our frightened, almost-feral rescue cat tortured by allergies and thyroid problems and given her a happy, full, and healthy life. We are eternally grateful.

These people were very caring, when we brought our kitten there to get fixed they didnt want to put him under because of a heart murmur. Although when we brought him to our vet they said it was minor, we do appriciate the caution that this place used in dealing with our little one Thanks
