Best eyecare clinic you can find. I have a eye condition that he specializes in and hes given me the most accurate and non-tiring prescription. They tend to push their in-house eyeglass frames/lenses which gets really annoying cause its pricey. But Ackerson as a doctor is very thorough when trying to find your prescription. He doesnt rush through it to make more money with more clients. He gives time and genuinely cares about your eye health. I drive 45 minutes to see him so I highly recommend him.

Ive been to several optometrists over the years and John Ackerson is easily the best. He takes the time to give you a thorough exam and makes sure that any questions are answered. Personal care, excellent staff, and great selection of frames puts this clinic well above the rest. I moved out of state, but I still make sure to see Dr. Ackerson instead of anyone else.

If I could give them zero stars I would. STAY FAR AWAY!! Dr. Ackerson gave me the wrong perscription in one eye. After 500$ in contacts and brand new glasses, I left still not being able to see. They wont take back my contacts or fix the mistake. They just offered for me to buy more and pay for another visit. WORST OFFICE EVER!!
