Dr. Patel is a great optometrist, with incredible attention to detail. She was wonderful with explaining things, and she was great about us having our baby with us (we thought we were having back-to-back appointments but we were called in at the same time). However, with the rise of online optical stores, a brick-and-mortar store should really have more concern about providing variety, quality, good prices, and good service. When we came in from seeing Dr. Patel, we noticed right away that there are very few pairs of glasses in this store, and not many of them really stood out as particularly stylish (mostly plain frames). I dont believe the women working there actually bought their glasses in this store, as some were wearing the kind of stylish frames my wife and I love and they simply do not sell. The optician encouraged us to choose our frame and was very cryptic about our insurance coverage, only revealing that our insurance would cover $150 of the frame cost and saying that wed talk about lenses once wed chosen a frame. We saw very few frames, in either the mens or womens sections, that cost under $190! Many were in the $300 range. Sure, they all had brands on them, but the quality was no better than anything weve had from online stores. Needless to say, we bought elsewhere (and paid less for two complete pairs than what one of us would have paid for just the frame at Envision). We would gladly come back to see Dr. Patel, but were pretty much done with brick-and-mortar optical stores, especially this one.

My family and I have been going to Dr Barry for over five years. He is a very friendly and knowledgeable doctor who always provides the best service to me and my family. I trust him completely and he goes out of his way to make sure I get the eye care I require - he does not push any particular agenda, only what I need to have the best eye care possible. The reception staff is very efficient with quick check in and scheduling of my next years appointment. The eye glass personnel have always been ready to help make the eye frame selection process smooth and painless. They are helpful with suggestions on a suitable frame style based on my eye glass prescription. With may eye doctors to choose from I am glad I found Dr Barrys office. I highly recommend him to others seeking excellent and effective eye care service.

I am new to Tucson and have not been particularly impressed with the medical community. I must say, however, that Dr, Barrys practice is a notable exception. On my first visit for an annual eye exam, I received the most comprehensive exam of my lifetime. Then, about six months later, I experienced an eye issue that necessitated my return. The baseline computer imagery that was established on my first visit was invaluable to Dr Barry in my treatment. Just finished my second annual exam, and with Dr, Barrys advise and divine support, am fully regained my sight. All comments others have made about this practice I can confirm as accurate. I fully endorse Dr Barry if you are looking for an eye doc. .

I order my safety glasses about 7 weeks ago, and I still havent received them. After 3 weeks without a word, I called to ask what was going on. I was told the final coating was being done, and the glasses should be ready in a few days. 2 weeks went by without a word from them. I had to call again. This time I was told the lenses werent made correctly and were being remade. They should be done in few days. That was about 2 weeks ago, and still no word. I understand things happen, but to go almost 2 months without calling the customer to let them know whats going on is just bad business. I will never go to Envision again, and I will definitely not recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Barry always addresses my vision care in conjunction with my overall health status and ongoing treatment. His exams are extremely thorough utilizing the latest methods and technology in the industry. But the thing I like the most about Envision is Dr. Barry and his team always find the time to balance their professionalism and efficiency with genuine caring and attention to my needs. I have needed corrective eyewear for the past 50+ years and I feel very fortunate to be under the care of Dr. Barry for the last 3 years. I HIGHLY recommend Envision Eyecare. I am confident you wont be disappointed.

I needed to get an eye exam on short notice and chose this office because of the excellent reviews so I had high expectations...and I was delighted that this office exceeded them. The staff was friendly and efficient. We had a bit of a delay because we didnt realize that the office is about a half block off Wetmore behind another building. But the staff cheerfully handled my tardy arrival. Dr Greiten was fabulous and even helped me figure out which snorkel mask lens would most closely match my prescription. Would highly recommend this provider.

Dr. Barry has been our family optometrist for over 20 years! We consider him a family friend. Dr. Barrys expertise is way beyond a regular optometrist. He is so knowledgeable (up-to-date on the latest advancements on eye care and health), warm and friendly--just a sterling person and doctor. The staff is efficient and helpful as well. They can help you with insurance questions and help you choose a flattering frame as well. Thank you, Dr. Barry for the wonderful care you have given us!

Is there a rating beyond excellent? If so Envision Eye Care Tucson would surely come to mind. From reception to optometrist, to the eyeglass sales center, these people are just wonderful and professional. Yes these two characteristics can dwell together. My experience with Dr. Patel, Kathy and Dr. Berry and all the staff members I encountered was the best I have ever had with a business. This is one place I will happily return to. Thanks to all. Ive been going here once a year for several years and I cant imagine trusting another practice with my eyes. The staff and doctors at Envision Eyecare Center are thoughtful, courteous, and so helpful you sometimes wonder if theyre real. But then someone cracks a joke and you realize youre just surrounded by genuinely good people who are not only good at their jobs but they care about your experience. This is the place to go for eyecare in Tucson. Bar none.

There is no better eye doctor...let me start that again...There is no better doctor in this town than Dr. Patrick Barry. I have been a patient of his since 1993 and can say he is the best. Not only does his office keep up with the latest technology, theyre just the most friendly, genuine people in the medical industry. Dr. Barry, I would like to say, has kind of been like the wise man you go to, to help you see more clearly...literally as well :)

After 14 months of shots for my Macular Degeneration and bad vision, Dr Greiten was able to get my vision at 20/20 with multifocal and astigmatism correction contacts. She took so much time with me to get these right. I was told by an other optometrist that there was nothing that could be done. I highly recommend Dr. Greiten. She is absolutely amazing and the office staff was so helpful with my insurance
