Suffering from lower back trouble radiating from my L4 and L5 (Eventually treated with cortisol shots), under the guidance of my mother as I am only twenty two years old I decided to get a Primary Care Physician here at PFMC. I wound up seeing Matt Kumberfelt(Sp?), on my first visit he dismissed me and told me to keep doing what I was doing. After not liking what I heard I called PFMC to talk to someone preferably with an MD about my condition. No response for eleven days. Eventually my back got so bad on the eleventh day I called to make an appt with Mat. During this appointment he was so irate by my wanting to see somebody else, he dismissed me from the practice entirely by saying "Youre going to have to find a different doctor. In a diferent building" I then tried to consult their HR, with no luck. Christie as I believe her name was didnt try very hard at all, she could not answer why I was dismissed for asking for a second opinion, and she couldnt get me back into the practice given my offense was so miniscule. In the end this twenty two year old learned not to ask for a second opinion lest you just not have a doctor at all.

Ive been going here since I was about 10-11 years old. Im now 35 and still see the same dr. And have seen most everyone else when he is unavailable. I can say in the 25 years Ive been a patient here they have always been amazing and taken excellent care of me. Whether I see my primary care provider or just whoever is available at the last minute. Am I on hold for more than two minutes when I call for an appointment? Yes, but the receptionists are always super nice and professional. Have I waited for half an hour past my appointment time to see my dr yes, but its worth it. These are good Drs who take their time. That is why they are so busy. I have never felt rushed during a visit. It really saddens me to see all the negative reviews. This is a good place, so yes they are super busy.

On hold 38 minutes earlier today 11/25/16. Now on hold almost 90 minutes this time. Told to please wait due to higher than average call volume and call would be answered in the order received. They cant be that busy. Completely unprofessional!! Pharmacist was on hold for almost 30 minutes before calling back to say he had no idea what was going on as he had spoken with quite a few doctors and staff at other family practices today. - Phone line updated around 4 p.m. to say they were closed Friday due to the Thanksgiving holiday. So. How many other people wasted time waiting to schedule, ask a question, etc. at PFMC today?

I have been taking my entire family including husband, kids and grandkids here for the last 4 years. The providers both MD and PA are excellent, thorough and thoughtful. The phone staff has always been amazing, especially the billing folks who are respectful and helpful. Grateful for this office that provides great care and service.

Called first time, was hung up on after waiting for the receptionist. Called back, waited 10 minutes then put into a loop that kept saying "press 1 for an appointment", then Id press 1, then it would repeat the look, then Id press 1, you get the loop....

They are rude. Doctors rude. Office people are rude. We have to wait another 15minutes and we are suppose to have a doctors appointment at 3:15pm and its 3:32 pm and we are still waiting for the doctor! DO NOT GO TO THIS MEDICAL CARE PLACE

Dont go here! They make you wait an hour after your scheduled appointment, and the doctor is dingy as a doorbell.
