I made an appt with no issues and was told at that time, if it has been over 6 months since your last cleaning, you may need more of a cleaning and insurance doesnt cover that. They did X-rays as a dentist normally would, looked at my mouth, and said they would see what insurance would cover and be right back. Upon returning he told me the breakdown: X-rays were covered by insurance, and so was a routine cleaning. Then he said BUT you need an extensive cleaning. I said, well thats ok, I just want what insurance will cover this time. He said NO WE WONT DO THAT. I said what? It is my mouth and all I want is the routine. He refused so I said then I am leaving. I explained to them at the front before I was leaving that I thought that was crazy considering it is my mouth I should choose my treatment. She said it was "malpractice" if they just did the routine cleaning. MALPRACTICE??? That isnt what that word means! Anyway, I have now made another appt at another dentist, explained the situation. They will do a routine IF that is all I want. I called Comfort Dental to get my X-rays and they stated I had to pay $40 to get them. When I called my insurance company to see if they can do this with my plan, I found out that they billed insurance for an entire mouth X-ray and not the normal bite wing, etc. that you normally get at a cleaning appt. So the claim was denied. Moral of my experience, DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!! They are trying to get money any way they can! I have now filed a complaint against them and looks like other have to!

PLEASE HELP ME GET THE WORD OUT! COMFORT DENTAL STUDIOS MUST BE EXPOSED SO THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN TO ANOTHER INNOCENT VICTIM!!! COMFORT DENTAL STUDIOS has stolen about $3000.00 from my daughter Zhoie who suffers with cerebral palsy as well as Autism. I took Zhoie to their office for a dental work up and was presented with a complete print out of all the work Zhoie would need done. At the end of that Print out the total came to around $3000.00. Comfort Dental Studios was given a check to cover what HAD BEEN STATED SHE NEEDED DONE. This was months ago and they have yet, to make good on any dental work. I have asked numerous times for the check back with no avail. Today I contacted them for my last attempt to clear this up and it was stated to me, by phone, THEY WILL NOT BE GIVING THE CHECK BACK, THEY HAVE ALREADY CASHED THE CHECK AND THEY WILL NOT BE DOING THE WORK THAT ZHOIE PAID FOR!!! I then proceeded to advise them, I have contacted Fox 5 news, as well as Zhoie’s attorney, Georgia Board of Dentistry and the BBB…. IF THEY’LL DO THIS TO A PERSON WITH A DISABILITY THAT IS UNABLE TO FEND FOR THEM SELVES, THEY’LL DO THIS TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE THEY CAN! THEREFOR, COMFORT DENTAL STUDIOS NEEDS TO BE EXPOSED SO THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO DO THIS TO ANOTHER INNOCENT VICTIM!!!

I was looking for a dental home. This place is literally 5 mins away. I met the dentist briefly and she seemed very warm and knowledgeable. My BIGGEST issue is customer service! The front desk young lady has the worst attitude to be a representative of an actual business. I didnt appreciate how i felt when dealing with her. Especially with being a cash patient, she had no real concern for working with a potential lifetime client. When i tried going elsewhere they charged me $40 to EMAIL MY XRAYS to another office even though i came IN PERSON to pay and could have picked them up directly. Thats not HIPPAA law as they "claimed" it to be and I will be filling a further complaint in regards to their business practices. Truly disgusted that someone would allow their that type of representation for their business. I guess thats why they are at 2.8 stars

My sister has seribalpalsy, and need some major work done $3000.00 worth. My mom and sister paid for it out of her trust fund, the work has never been done and will not let us make an appointment and will not give the money back. They where trashy and ghetto to me and my mother. The supervisor also threaten my mother that she was going to "pull her over the counter and beat her ass if she showed up to the facility". I also called to find out what was going on and she did the same to me. Hung up several times on me as well. These people are trashy and need to be shut down. They steel and make u there property. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY. Fox 5 and 11 alive has Ben contacted along with my sister lawyer she has has for 19 years which is her hole life. These PEOPLE ARE TRASH!!!!!!

The experience there was nice but the only issue is that when you try to call to get an appointment they NEVER pick up u have to call over and over again which is bad for business they lost my business I will never go there a patient should have to call that much just for a appointment its like they have no one there to pick up the phone so clearly they dont care enough Im very disappointed with the way they are running this office I even had my sister call as well never picked up its ridiculous

Do not use this dentist! They believe that you are their property and they have the right to do whatever treatment they force on you, whether harmful for your body or not. If you choose to refuse radiation and harmful chemicals (and you must pay for them too) they order you to leave and dismiss you from their practice. Beware!

Dr. Nelson and all her staff are amazing. She makes you feel comfortable and they give you all the detail and pricing up front and you can let them know what you can afford. Love this dentist. And even my 14 yr and 11 yr old love Dr. Nelson and will ask to go see her instead of the pediatric dentist.

I love Dr. Nelson! I have seen her for over 10 years. I travel from Buckhead to see her because I know she will take care of me! She and her staff deserve 5 stars in my opinion!
