My husband and myself brought our cat "Blackberry" in on Saturday morning two weeks ago. We drove all the he way from Tarpon Springs, because we were told well their pets were well cared for and reasonable prices. He was in serious condition and life threatening condition. He had a tennis ball size lump on the right side of his cheek, bulging out his right eye to the point it was stretching his eyelids and he couldnt close his eye. We were turn away. Yes, I said, turn away. We were told appointments come first. We couldnt believe what we were hearing. They said, "if we wanted to wait until they had time in-between appointments, we could wait, but it could take all day" or not at all. We said, "he could die by then." They said they were sorry, but they could not take him. They even saw severe the swelling was. It didnt matter, appointments are priority. The was another cat parent in the waiting room at the time, she was begging them to take care of our cat. She told us last year her 18 year old cat died, because they couldnt fit him that day. He could come in tomorrow; even though she said he would be dead by tomorrow, they couldnt take him. He died the next day. We left in total dismay. That an animal hospital would deny care to to a seriously ill cat. I told them we would never step foot in this place again. We took Blackberry to an Vet in North Palm Harbor. They took him back immediately, while we filled out the paperwork. He had to have emergency surgery to drain the abcess, IV fluids, blood work, and strong antibiotics. When it was time for discharge, the vet told us when Blackberry got there he didnt think he was leaving the hospital. He is better now, but his eye is hazy.

Anyone who considers their animal as their child must know its imperative to find a proper place to take care of them in a worst case scenario. I always do my research and have been to many different places, Connecheusett is by a MASSIVE margin unparalleled. My first priority is level of care, if there was a 6th star to give Id have to give it to the technicians, my kitten was very well cared for and comfortable. I felt at ease leaving him here, which is nearly impossible to find. The staff is extremely friendly and highly knowledgeable which hasnt been the case for the majority of other places Ive taken my kitten to. I cant say enough about how helpful & insightful they were, even going above and beyond post-visit they provided me advice and instruction when I needed it. The last thing to consider when you desire taking your pet in to be taken care of by a top tier provider is cost. Connechusett is exceptionally priced, even for a long stay which was the case for my cats visit. When it comes to picking the best hands to leave your loved pet with Connechusett exceeded any expectations I had, even after reading many other favorable reviews. Whether it be level care, quality, price youre making a bad decision if you decide to go elsewhere. Im happy to say Ive found a permanent place to take my pets if ever any further issues arise.

Listen up folks !! This is one of the only vet hospitals/ Boarding facilities left that truly care about your pets and not the money they can make. The entire staff will make sure you are taken care of and your pets are loved on and taken care of beyond your expectation. I have been taking my 2 pit bulls there for eight plus years and I will never go to another vet for any care. I have personally experienced the level of care the give each pet and take the time to find the right diagnoses and speak to the owners about all of their options. Both Dr. Jay and Dr. Wood are extremely knowledgeable and keep up on the latest information for your pets. They will go through the procedures with you and help you understand the medications and how to give them properly. Uncle Ken, Holly, Nova and the rest of the staff are world renowned in the pet community and loved to the moon and back. I cannot express enough how great this place really is. If your pet is scared to go to the vet let them come here once. All I have to say in my house is do you want to go see uncle ken and Dr wood and their BEATING ME TO THE CAR. NO JOKE PEOPLE GREAT PLACE !!!

I called the vet to see if he might have any advice for a behavioral problem Im having with my cat. My cats not sick, its just a behavior Im trying to unsuccessfully correct, and if I cant Ill have to find him another home, so its very important. I told the receptionist that I understand that Im not a current client but would gladly come in if the vet thinks its something that could be treated. However, the receptionist refused to let me speak with the vet or even make the effort to take my name and number and let the vet decide what course of action to take. The fact that I wasnt a client immediately translated into "you want a diagnosis over the phone for free," and I was blocked. Ill be sure and avoid this business in the future if I need pet services. They obviously want money up-front before theyll even listen to your questions.

This animal hospital has some of the best prices around. The vet, Dr Woods, is wonderful. The office staff on the other hand, is some of the rudest and most disrespectful I have ever encountered. I was appalled by the treatment of the staff and as such did not come back for a little over a year. I decided to give them one more shot, because of the prices and the wonderful Dr Woods...But the office staff yet again ruined the experience. If you need to take your pet in asap for a good price, Id recommend them for a one time use as such. But I myself will not be returning. Id rather pay the extra $50-$100 to go to an animal hospital where I am not treated poorly by staff.

We have been going here for 12 years. I cant say enough about the treatment and care for our dogs. The staff is caring, friendly and helpful. Their prices are reasonable and the doctors are great. Theyve been through hell and high-water with our dogs and have saved our diabetic beagle on a couple of occasions. Sadly, we had to put him down just this past week. Ken & Dr. J were not only accommodating with allowing us the time to spend with him, they were also emotionally supportive during a very, very sad time.

If I could rate them ten stars, I would. The best, most caring doctors and staff you will ever meet. I was given my daughters cat and dog when she left the area in 2007. Cat has since passed away;;he was 18, dog is almost 16. The doctors are the most honest professionals on the face of the earth. I am so sad to the point of crying because I am moving from the area and will miss them so much. Thank you so very much. The best animal hospital I ever took a pet to.

The office staff and the vet tech were awesome, but Dr. Ken Jukoff is very unprofessional. I took my mom and her dog there and Dr. Ken Jukoff was very arrogant, condescending, and rude. His attitude stinks. He has no beside manner for people or animals. I will NEVER go back there agaqin. And I will let everyone I know, know about what happened there. I wish I didnt have to give ANY STARS at all but to get this posted, I had to give one star.
