Boarding - I have a giant breed dog, (great dane, waist high, over 100lbs) it poses its probs in an area so common w/ tinies. Shes also health needy nor does well away from me. I spent a LOT of time researching and finding recs. They were constantly without hesitation the name I received. After using them, I have to say I agree. We went from shaking so scared to not even acknowledging me until I spoke!! Theyre not perfect in some ways but now my go to. Well be back for day care on an occasion just for fun. Details : Initial convo, like talking to a pushy telemarketer reading a paper. It turned me off. Im not an auditory person, they email me everything. I felt the "packages" included a bit more than other places, overall costs were comparable. I was able to select different packages for different days. They included a day of daycare with a report card of how her day went. It turned out to be awesome getting her a little acclimated to the facility, my stress and ability to give them ways to help her comfort. It was fun they sent us home with a picture. Theyre extremely careful with shots, even called the out of state vet. I was able to skip the go home bath, weve got nasty allergies. Dropping her off I clarified bedding, for us its extremely important. We went through food, special diet doesnt even cover it with her allergies. I provided all food and treats. Given some unusual traits, I know it was followed. I did supply emergency meds but vet on site, huge relief. They were ok with using my ELEVATED bowls which has been an argument other places. No probs using an out of state emergency contact or calling out of country if absolutely needed. Picking her up I received another report card, and even several of the staff made comments, giant blue dogs tend to be memorable lol. Overall great experience! For all the rescue people, I witnessed them working with a rescue group. They were obviously familiar, and gave a thorough report on health and temperaments

We have been taking our dogs to Pet Dominion for a little over a year now. Our overall impression is a good one. Dr. Keller is terrific. She is thorough and knowledgable and obviously cares very much for our pets health and happiness. My wife and I are underwhelmed with their boarding practices as they dont offer an all day open play room for the dogs and instead leave them in crates. The only way to get extra play time during boarding is to pay extra fees to have the staff play with them for 30 minutes at a time. We have found other more reasonably priced places that offer an open play room. We also had one bad experience with a nail clipping where they cut them so incredibly short that there was no way our dog didnt bleed. When we picked her up she was skittish and obviously disturbed from the experience. We called and lodged a complaint and they apologized and removed the charge from our bill. Since then weve had her nails clipped there again and have only had good experiences. The front staff is friendly and easy going. They remember our dogs names and always go out of their way to give them a nice greeting when we arrive. All in all Pet Dominion is a sound veterinary hospital and boarding location. We feel lucky to have them in our neighborhood.

Pet Dominion has made owning a escued high energy and accident prone German Shepard much easier. When we adopted him his was grossly underweight - Dr Bassett worked with us to build him up to a fantastic athelete. He took the time to explain to us why in Bears case veterinary insurance was a good idea (unknown history and very active). Dr Bassetts recommendation has saved us a ton of money on routine checkups but also on the countless emergency visits for various injuries. They also helped us socialize Bear in their doggy day care. After 10 years--- Bear is still very social and excited every time he goes in for day boarding or for longer when the families goes out of town. Dr Falter also showed extreme compassion in treating Annie when she got ill and worked her into their busy schedule for emergency diagnostics and care. Dr Falter was so considerate in going over treatment options and stepping us through the end of life decision making process including a plan that allowed Annie to pass at home. I strongly recommend Pet Dominion to anyone looking for quality compassionate vetrinary care and a safe (and fun) place to board their pets.

Dr. Bassett is wonderful. My 9-year-old lab/hound mix has a big problem with anxiety. When we moved up here about two years ago from Florida, her storm anxiety became separation anxiety. Every time I left home I was worried I would come back to my apartment in disarray if she had one of her fits while I was gone. When I came home to her chewing tv cables I knew I had to do something. After trying another vet who offered no solution and spending about $800 on vet bills and unsuccessful treatment options, I found Pet Dominion. I am so glad I did! Dr. Bassett was knowledgeable on anxiety issues and helped develop a treatment plan involving some natural/behavioral remedies and two prescriptions. I have since weened her off her daily prescription and only have to give her the other during stressful events, like storms. He is very gentle with the animals and you can tell he loves what he does. I have since referred many friends and even though I now live 30+ minutes away, I still make the drive to see Dr. Bassett. Wonderful and professional staff. They have my highest recommendation!

Dr. Bassett (and for the last several years Dr. Falter) has been taking care of our dog Chance since we adopted him in 1998. Chance is a Chow Golden mix and in his younger years was not always easy to handle during his routine check ups. The doctors and vet techs here always take time to speak with him and calm him down when examining him or performing any procedures which is greatly appreciated. Now that Chance is almost 14 he is pretty laid back but they all still take the time to comfort him during his exams. They always take great care in dealing with his every day health care and special needs (Canine Epilepsy and more recently Megaesophagus). They are excellent at following up an after illness to see how hes recovering. The whole staff at Pet Dominion is very caring and considerate. I truly believe that they have extended his life and we are forever grateful for that. I highly recommend Pet Dominion to anyone looking for the highest quality veterinary care!!

Dr. Bassett was very professional about going over our treatment options when our French Bulldog started showings signs and symptoms of cervical neck pain. He was very thorough and concerned about how much pain our dog was in. He even called the same day to make sure the medications that he prescribed were working appropriately to relive her acute episodic neck spasms. I refrained from giving our experience a 5 stars due to the fact that a on the spot laser therapy treatment was giving to our dog without a verbal okay for my wife. She was not made aware of the cost of the treatment which ultimately wouldnt have kept her from agreeing to the treatment. Point is that patients need to be informed at all times, especially when money is involved. We will be utilizing Pet Dominion in the future and highly recommend them to future guests looking for a well rounded veterinary service.
