IF I could give less than one star, I would! This is the worst veterinary clinic I have ever been to, and I have had pets for a long time and in many states! Dr. Watson was horrendous. I arrived early for my morning appt., only to wait for 45 min. Then the very rude technician took my two dogs and I into a room to obtain weights. She insisted on using the tiny table scale, which my dogs are too big for. She argued and argued with me then proceeded to slam my poodle on the scale, even after I said we were there for a follow-up for a spinal injury. Eventually we discussed patient history and since we were new to the clinic and state, I was explaining to the tech what our flea/tick preventative was and that my dogs were on a combined flea/heart-worm preventative, and a topical tick preventative. She would not listen, and kept accusing me of not maintaining heart-worm preventative. I sternly told her to listen and she stormed out. I heard her tell the vet that I was a bit..ch. Then the vet came in, with a total ghetto-ish attitude. In short, I ended up leaving without having my dogs examined, but Dr. Watson (Aka, Fake Doctor) proceeded to call me crazy to OTHER patients and followed me into the reception area yelling at me. This was the worst most unprofessional establishment I have ever been in. The week before, my other dog was there for his rabies vaccine with a different doctor and the technician was so busy telling me about her Husky, that she forgot to give me our proof of vaccination and tags. She finally mailed them several days later. I wouldnt recommend taking a wild rat to this place, much less your beloved pets.

Absolutely the WORST experience ever! Do NOT take your pet to this vet unless you dont care about the treatment that is provided. I took my cat to the vet because he wasnt eating, his tongue was hanging out of his mouth and he was drooling. It was very obvious my cat had some dental issues b/c it was painful for him to eat. I went in for an emergency visit, I took my daughter with me, Dr. Ballard came into the room, took one look at him and said she was calling the county to report he has rabies. I told the vet that he was a stray that I had taken in and been caring for for over a year. I explained that he wasnt feeling well, told her his symptoms. As soon as she heard "stray" she assumed without even examining him he had rabies. She told me that I needed to leave him there so they could put him to sleep and "cut his head off" and send it away to test for rabies. She said this in front of my daughter who left crying. I said there is something wrong with his teeth, he doesnt have rabies, cant you examine him? She said no she wouldnt examine him she was reporting him to the county. Im now getting calls from the county to come take him from me. I immediately left and went to Falls Road Animal Hospital, they took him back immediately and found that he had 2 tooth abscesses and was dehydrated. The vet immediately ran some blood work on him, gave him an injection for pain and antibiotics, and gave him some fluid for dehydration. Cinders is back home with me and already feeling better. DO NOT GO TO ADVANCED VETERINARY COMPLEX AND DO NOT SEE DR. BALLARD!

Dear Advanced Vet, We want to send a special thank you for taking care of our baby Kiya Marley Block for the past few years. Doctor Benson your care has been exceptional from day one. You took Kiya on after Dr. Reinhardt left and treated her as if she had always been your patient. You were kind and always fully explained procedures and findings. You took such great care when doing her ear surgery for her hematoma and even lazered off a few skin tags in the process. After that we called her Kiya “buttons” for the longest time. She healed remarkably well and you could never even tell she had the surgery. The staff has always been so courteous, caring , and helpful. This week we had to put our baby down and it was one of the worst days of our life. We would not have been able to manage as well as we did had it not been for your team. Dr. Bloom and the tech sat with us that night and held our hads through the process. Everyone helped to make our baby very comfortable even giving her a nice pink blanket to rest on. Kiya’s last moments were peaceful and we felt the love from every single member of Advance Vet. Words cannot express how the caring nature of your staff and doctors helped ease such a terrible situation. Thank you for all that you do for the fur babies in the area it is truly a labor of love. We are forever grateful and will always speak your praises. Love, Marcy, Jane, Kiya, and Tudor.

We have several animals, and certainly have had many Veterinarians., both, in and out, of the area where we live. My husband and I have been in and out of Veterinarian offices for over 40 years. I believe we have come close to the worst of Vets. during our time, but the veterinarians, and staff, at Advance Vet. Complex are wonderful. Sometime we, as customers, walk into an establishment, never knowing what the staff are going through, have gone through, or what they have been up against that day. Yes, we are all emotional when we walk in with our sick pets, and only want the best for them. This is exactly what you get at Advance..."The Best". Dr. Benson and his staff of other veterinarians, are the most knowledgeable Vets. I have taken my animals to. Our Two Week old puppy was diagnosed with pneumonia, and had a very slim chance of survival. The medical knowledge, determination, and endless hours, gave my puppy a chance to survive. This is just one example of Dr. Bensons "Medical Expertise".,.. there are many other customers, I have sat in the waiting room with, and have listened to other customers give praise to Advance Vet. Complex. I give them an "A+". Looking for great pet care, you will find it at Advanced. ps.......I rarely publicly rate a service.

Whats the appropriate amount of stars for the vet who turned away my dying dog? I guess one? I lost my best friend last night. She was the best, funniest, kindest most loving dog thats ever been a dog. Yesterday she wasnt doing too well. We called the vet who said they would be open until 10pm even though it was 4th of July. A few hours later she took a turn for the worst and even though it was only 8pm once we got her to the clinic they reported they were closed. The vet and staff were all still there they just couldnt take the time to see her. They referred her to another animal hospital over 30min away and she passed in the backseat of the car on the way there. Instead of being surrounded by the people she loved and given medication to minimize her pain she was left to die in the back seat of a station wagon. The only thing worse than losing my pet is knowing the people who should have cared about her couldnt be bothered. She was a great dog and deserved so much better. Please find another vet for your pet and dont go here.
