First visit was 3 years ago, my cat was attacked by a fox and his leg was injured, i rushed to the nearest vet seeking help, but they refused stating that i needed an appointment. My cat was bleeding from his paw and this vet is within walking distance from my house and they were telling me to go somewhere else. 2nd time I called asking for advice on treating a possible infection in my cat, Im cut off and interrupted and told to call somewhere else. Both instances the woman working there seemed annoyed and condescending, she displayed absolutely zero compassion or concern and answered in an infuriating derogatory tone as if i had dared to inconvenience her precious time. I truly believe that if someones pet was hit by a car right outside their building, they would still refuse treatment if the pet was new to them. 0%=compassion for animals. 100%=compassion for cash.

We took our newly adopted kitten to Dunloggin Veterinary Hospital and found out she was very sick and had ring worm on top of her respiratory infection. Dr. Kane was so good with her and took the time to go through all necessary steps to getting her cured and steps to keep it from spreading to our other kitty or other human family members. It was a long process due to her having ring worm, it required several check ups and tests, but they were fantastic through the entire process. We take both of our cats there and they are so attentive and adjust to the temperament of each animal. I highly recommend Dunloggin Veterinary Hospital! We see Dr. Kane when we take our kitties for check ups, however everyone I have had the pleasure of working with has been fantastic and shows a genuine love for animals and compassion for our fury, four legged family members!

I am a relatively new client of DVH. I came to them after having my pocket picked by VCA for 16 years. Loved the people there but when my dog was injured and had to remain on pain medication the rest of her life, I couldnt afford the high priced medication and treatment they proposed. I came to DVH on the recommendation of a friend and I couldnt be happier. We have moved to a medication that is affordable and doesnt require blood tests every six months. The vets are down to earth and, of course, great with my dogs. (I did have one condescending conversation with the established female vet when my dog got kennel cough but we all have a bad day now and then.) I have never had a problem getting an appointment or medication. The staff is super nice.

We took our first dog to Dunloggin back in 1975 and were patients of Dr.OMara , a true gem of a veterinarian. As his practice grew he strived and succeeded in bringing into his group caring and highly qualified associates. Over the years our dogs have been seen and cared for the majority of the time by Dr.OMara (before retirement) , Dr. Shulkin and Dr.Holland . I would not hesitate however to have any of my pets cared for by the other staff. It is hard to find a practice that from the first phone call, to the techs, and the doctors all have positive attitudes and a helpful approach . I wish I could find the same level of care ,concern and insightfulness into disease entities in other fields of medicine as I do here.

This place has its ups and downs. There was a time I had to literally do a u-turn to get there to fill a prescription for one of my dogs at the last minute, but I (myself) collected a urine sample for them at that visit for culturing which they never did. Today its an x-ray that revealed a LARGE bladder stone that Dr. Beason said was best treated by a $1500 surgery. Found out since then that LARGE bladder stones strongly tend to be of the type that respond well to non-surgical treatment (Diet). Also found out that culture they didnt do would have established what type of stone is actually there. So were off to a vet that does cultures and does not favor surgical solutions quite so much and Voya con Dios, folks!

We have been clients of Dunloggin Veterinary Hospital for over 15 years. Our vet is Dr. Holland. I cant begin to say enough great things about Dr. Holland. She has gone above and beyond for our pets (both cats and dogs). While the entire staff is caring and professional, Dr. Holland stands out as an amazing, skilled and kind vet. She provides comprehensive and thorough care to pets and helps pet owners to understand their pets condition and the options for treatment. The staff help to create a welcoming, relaxed environment for pets and their owners. I have and continue to recommend Dunloggin Veterinary Hospital to anyone who cares for their pet and wants the best for them.

We have used Dunloggin Veterinary Hospital for over the past two years. We see Dr. Shulkin and love him. Dr. Shulkin always goes the extra mile to call us back in a prompt manner, answer questions, get our pup in quickly, and get any test results to us as fast as possible. This is very normal but much appreciated when our pup was very sick. When he had to refer us to a specialist - he stayed in contact with the specialist and continued to serve as a point of contact with the issue. We always feel very confident that we are getting the best care for our dogs. The staff at Dunloggin are also awesome. They are extremely polite and professional.

Dr. Shulkin mislabeled my cats prescription bottle (who is elder, has heart problems, and is in early renal failure), as a result my cat overdosed and was forced to receive additional emergency medial treatment. I called Dr. Shulkin to address the issue, he explained to me that he made a mistake and mislabeled the bottle, but at this point its too late. As owner of the company, he refused to do anything to make the situation better or keep me as a client. He told me if I had a problem I could complain to others. I would not recommend this vet to anyone. Dr. Shulkin is brash, rude. and has no bedside manner with your animal.

We started using Dunloggin when we adopted a chocolate lab from a freind of ours. Dr. Holland was her vet. After 30 years of raising dogs and caring for them, Dr. Holland is the most WONDERFUL vet. She is compassionate, caring, thorough and is sure to give us all the choices of certain things. About 10 years ago, my favorite vet moved out of town and I used to think I would trust my OWN life to her becuase she was THAT good. I now can say the same thing about Dr. Holland. I can totally trust her. Thank you for the wonderful service you provide at Dunloggin. :)

I have taken my babies to Dunloggin for over 30 years and would not go anywhere else - We mostly see Dr. Holland, but have had emergency experiences when she was not available. Without fail, each and every vet as well as the wonderful staff has provided the utmost care and concern, not only for my pets but also for me in stressful situations. I currently have an 18 year old dog and am convinced he would not still be with me without the excellent care he has received for various ailments over the years. Highly recommend!
