1. Even if your insurance covers 100% of your exam, they will still charge you $100 for "contact evaluation" if you try contacts on, and another $100 for your prescription (that you wont see). WTF is that. 2. Receptionists are not super nice. When I noticed they spelled my name wrong on my file, I pointed it out (I mean, these are medical records after all) and they scoffed at me. I know lady, sorry to be such a hassle with such a difficult name. 3. Doctor definitely got my prescription wrong and I ended up going to Target Optical a few days later. 4. Oh ps, even though you pay a buttload for your prescription, you will never see it! So you can forget about ordering cheaper contacts or glasses online. DO NOT GO HERE. Seriously, youre way better off going to probably literally anywhere else.

I love Dr. Sumner he is the kindest most professional person I have ever had work on my eyes( I have been going to him since 2009 after my eyes were injured)----that said his staff NOT SO MUCH! In 2011 I went for a check up and new glasses, the lady who fits you and orders the glasses told me she would call me in 7-10 days when my glasses arrived. It was almost 3 weeks later and I hant heard from them so I called and was told by this lady that she didnt order my glasses when I first went because she said she didnt know if I would be able to afford them! WTF! After a few harsh words and a reminder that they had never had a problem getting their money from me, my glasses were ordered. Honestly, if Dr. Sumner wasnt so great with me I would never go back to this place!!!

I got my first pair of glasses when I was in the fourth grade and Im now 28 years old. This is the only optometrist who has ever flat out got the prescription wrong. Ive been wearing contacts since I was in the seventh grade and was pressured heavily to try dailys by this doctor. Five brands (and five separate trips into his office) later I finally convinced him to give me the ones Ive been wearing for years with no problems. I was told very directly over the phone that his office would NOT verify my prescription with 1-800-Contacts. I understand this is a business and they have to make money. But Im not buying a set of tires for my car, were talking about MY EYES. It felt very much like my vision health came in second to this office making a buck off me.

Dr. Sumer is fantastic. After a couple bad experiences at shopping mall places, I decided to try someone with experience. I am so glad I did. I love my new glasses, and I can finally see well again. The cost was on par with other vision centers. The office is clean and has convenient parking. And the staff is great, especially Debbie the optician, who was super-helpful. Dr Sumer is a terrible person. He is scandalous and money hungry. There is constantly different staff in his office because he doesnt not know how to take of his staff. The newest reception/optician Tracey is the worse. She has no knowledge whats so ever of an optical. This office is only here to take your money. They can care less of anything else!!! I would not recommend anyone to go to SumNer Vision.

Very Professional and Courteous! I have been going to Dr. Sumners office for 8 years. Ive always been treated with excellent knowledge and friendly care. Dr. Summners recommendations for me as a contact wearer have always been spot on and his willingness to listen to issues with products and preferences is outstanding. Will Continue to see and refer this office to friends and family.

Ive been seeing Dr. Sumner for years and have always appreciated his candid and direct advise. Got LASIK three years ago, at his recommendation (after several years of contemplation) and my vision is still 20/15+. The staff has turned over since the Nov 8, 2010 review, and they are quite friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend Dr. Sumner.

Dr Sumner is great; but the office staff scheduling is terrible. They cancelled an appointment on me just 2 hours beforehand (I had scheduled it about a year ago), and rescheduled me for 12:30pm on a Saturday, failing to mention that their office closes at 12:00pm on a Saturday. Kind of like when Jerry Seinfeld gets a "non-vitation" to a wedding.

Great care! I injured my eye and Dr. Sumner treated me even though the office was closing. Dr. Sumner checked my eye and treated me and I had almost instant relief. Friendly and helpful staff, they filled out my paperwork for me because I was having difficulty seeing out of my injured eye. I would highly recommend this office.

No issues with actual exam itself but found the front office staff to be extremely unprofessional regarding my vision insurance and purchase of contact lenses. They were unwilling to provide me with my contact lens prescription. Will not be returning or recommending this office to others.

Great place to get glasses and have my vision checked. With type 2 diabete, Dr. Sumner keeps a close watch on my condition. I have never had a problem with service and always feel well taken care of when I go in for a checkup. Highly recommend Dr. Sumner and staff.
