I wouldnt even give 1 star, but I had to put 1 star so I could post a review. I dont think they even deserve that. On 5-23-17 I went to Abba Eye Care on circle dr. This was the worst optometrist/eye exam I have ever endured. Dr. Nolasco did a very rush vision test. Dr. Nolasco kept moving the pictures & saying is this better & so on, & then she would go forward to the next number and back very fast. After I had my vision test, (1) employee asked to see my glasses & she took them around where a partition was about 15 feet away. There were (4) people laughing at my glasses. I could hear & see (1) guy holding up my glasses saying "I can see why she cant see, while laughing. On my prescription it said that my are 20/20 & that all I need are 250 readers. Dr. Nolasco also put down on the eye exam paper that I was wearing readers, but they were prescription progressives. I cant see or read very well with 250 readers. I was diagnosed with 20/50 in 2014. I have been wearing progressive/trifocals since 2014. I got a sample of "Oasis" for dry, itchy eyes, as I told Dr. Nolasco that I cant use regular eye drops, as they just make my eyes red & watery. Dr. Nolasco didnt prescribe anything for dry, itchy eyes. Instead, Dr. Nolasco presribed Pataday 0.2 which is for conjunctivitis/pink eye. I DONT HAVE PINK EYE! I know, as I had pink eye once over (30) years ago. I also think they treated me unfairly because I am on medicaid. I would not go back there again, nor would I recommend them.

By far the worst hassle I have ever had with an optometry office. First make me drive to a different location for trail contacts. While there an speaking to an associate I realized I was charged 40 extra dollars for eyes drops I thought were trails. Go back to return drop to original office and the receptionist doesnt know how to do a refund transaction. Proceeds to tell me that credit card and debit card transactions are the same !!! Lmao!! Whatever its taken care of. Then come back after a week with my trials everything good to go. Leave in a hurry and they dont even give me my prescription. Have to drive back and wait an hour to get it. When I get it, they are telling me that last min doctor changed it and dont even explain it. I order contacts and have to different boxes and no label for which contact goes in what eye. Call to get a solution today. Was told that I have to wait till they get back to me. Ha last time I will ever go to them! #worstexpericenceever sucks because my doctor was amazing I loved her!!

The absolute WORST eyecare ever! My eye exam was conducted with stone-age equipment - nothing new or digitized. Without any warning, the doctor grabbed my head and started forcing my eyes apart, when I asked what are you doing - he said "you said it was okay to dilate your eyes." At that point I should have run out of the place, but I let them continue the exam. When I asked for a copy of my prescription, the clerk said they didnt have any pads to write it down. Luckily I ended up not ordering any glasses there and went to another place - where my exam was conducted by a professional with digitized equipment...and yes they were able to print my prescription. Not sure how Abba got voted #1 - it was overall the worst medical experience I have ever had in my life.

I feel that the front desk staff is rude and unappreciative of my business. But,the thing that bothers me the most is the $49 Contact Lens Fitting charge. Ive been wearing contact lens for 30 years and have not been charged such a fee. Dr. Garwood asks if i would like to try free sample lens. I put them in, Dr. asks how they fit, i say good. Thats the end of it. I dont even think the Dr. looked into my eyes and certainly no equipment used. A total scam of getting more money out of my pocket. Billing was messed up after placing the contact lens order, and required me to go in and sort it out with what I feel is very rude staff. Ill be finding another eye care provider. On a good note...they have an excellent selection of frames to choose from.

I first went to this location in 1978 and saw Dr. Marcus Myers. In 2008 I went to Vision Works for new glasses. Then in January 2013 I saw Dr. Pierre who noticed something that needed more attention, and He referred me to Mark Chittum of Retina Consultants of Southern Colorado. Between Pierre and Chittum, they discovered a disease that had most likely been present in 2008 but Vision Works missed. Long story short, because of Dr. Pierre, my diagnosis of macular edema and uveitis was caught in time. I still see ABBA for glasses, and will never go elsewhere for glasses. Today I reconnected with Dr. Myers, and Elaine helped me again with new frames. I highly recommend this location of ABBA, without reservation!

I agree that its not the worst service but it is by far not the best. I had an eye exam appointment at 4pm and didnt get out of there until 7pm!!! Thats ridiculous considering I used to work in a high traffic optical store for 5 + years! However I will say, shawn who helped me when I picked up the glasses and the young lady who sold them to me were great! Outside of having to wait forever both times to get someone to assist. (When there are 4 to 5 employees just sitting behind a desk gossiping, thats frusterating!)

The folks at this store are SO nice! My husband has been a client here for many years, so when I hit 40 and needed glasses for the first time, this is where I went. I had such a hard time getting everything right (apparently I dont like wearing glasses lol!) and everyone was so patient in working with me until I was comfortable. I love talking with the ladies they are so sweet! The owner, Terry, is the nicest man you could ever meet :) And the doctors are attentive and knowledgeable. Great Place!

Adelina made such an impression on me a year ago when I decided not to buy glasses at all that I came back to this location to have help from her. I was so happy because of the way that I was treated and everything was explained very well. Another employee helped me (I think Melanie?) and she was also super nice helping me pick out frames and lenses. Thank you both very much; I will refer my friends and co-workers :)

I was worried due to the reviews I read here, but I went in today with my daughter and everyone here was amazing. They had great service and broke down the cost for me and got me in quickly due to my work insurance is expiring at the end of the month. My son and I have an appointment tomorrow and I am excited to go back. I will be recommending them to everyone I know. Thank you so much to the team on N. Circle! :-)
