The optometrist was great, very friendly, and did her job well. However the folks up front are a different story. After verifying my insurance information, I was told that there would be a $10 co-pay, and they explained that I would get a generous allowance for glasses or contacts, but not for both. That was fine by me, because that is what I was expecting. After covering those bases, they asked if I was going to do a contact exam as well, and I said sure that would be great. The optometrist did her thing, and gave me my prescription and sample contacts, as they did not carry the brand I usually wear. When I went to check out, they charged me $61. I was expecting the $10 copay that was quoted. They said it is $10 for the glasses exam, and $51 (after a 15% discount) for the contact exam. I pointed out that the cost of the contact exam was never mentioned. They rebutted by saying that it was explained that the glasses exam was $10, and that the contact exam would be 15% off. This would be fine and great if that was the case, but at no point was the contact exam cost mentioned. I suppose its my fault for not checking, but I would assume that they would like their customers to know what to expect before performing their service. I had no choice but to pay it, and I didnt want to make a bigger deal out of it than I had already felt I had made, and it was apparent that nothing would be resolved out of the exchange of words. I was hoping to pick up some glasses and order some contacts (which I would like to point out again that we had in fact covered the fact I would get an allowance on one, not both), however after quickly looking around, slightly irritated, I didnt see anything I really liked, and didnt really feel that they were trying to work with me, I decided to pay up and leave. For good. I couldnt rate this one star, because I did like the optometrist. Hope she has the opportunity to work at a more professional clinic.

I honestly feel betrayed. Ive been a loyal customer here for years. I always prefer to support a local business owner as opposed to a corporate chain. That loyalty is completely unappreciated here. Our daughter is Korean and Look doesnt carry many Asian specific frames for kids as young as 4. The standard ones tend to slip down her nose because of her facial structure. No big deal. Many local retailers (with the exception of H-Mart) dont have a large asian specific selection. Went online and purchased some frames that fit well on her face. The guy might as well have spit on me when I brought the two frames in. He looked at one only and said he couldnt put lenses in because there were no screws in the frames. Come to find out, thats untrue. He spent no time at all, didnt even bother to look at the second set, and said he couldnt help me. He was very dismissive. The frames are no different in the glass area than any other standard pair of glasses. I feel as though he wasnt going to make the money off me by selling me the frames, therefore, I wasnt worth two seconds of his time. He and his wife wouldnt even consider doing the lenses only. Took the same frames to One Hour Optical on Colorado and they said it was no problem. They said anyone can pop out the glass and put in the prescription lenses. His dishonest answer combined with his dismissive attitude made me feel awful. I will never forget that. I live closer to his shop than any other optometrist in town. And we will need years and years of glasses for both my daughter and myself. Last time I was there, I bought two pairs (frame and lenses) with just my HSA card at fee for service prices. I spent about $500. That time, when I was a good source of revenue, he was very nice to me. After our new puppy, Im in need of two more pairs. I didnt even have the chance to ask him about that based on his attitude. I will NEVER set foot in his store again.

I love the service here! I arrived 5 minutes prior to my appointment, filled out 1 sheet of related information and was seen at my scheduled appointment time. The Dr. checked my current glasses before my exam, did a very thorough check without having to dilate my eyes (yaaaay!), and explained that there has been very little change to my eyes. He gave me a trial pair of contacts. I went in for a special they were running for a full comprehensive exam, contact fitting, plus 2 boxes of contacts for an amazing deal that even americas best couldnt touch if they wanted to! I see crystal clear and the contacts are very comfortable! The office even did me 1 better because I was going on vacation for a while and they wanted to make sure I had my contacts before I left they filled my contacts order from their own supplies! Amazing! Highly recommended!

Got a run around from an online company so decided to go locally where I went for my contacts about a year ago. They had my VSP insurance up quickly and verified. Doctor was in on a Saturday and was very quick and efficient. The husband/wife couple that run this store are amazing. So nice and polite. Always willing to help. Came down to match a price on a pair of Oakley frames that I ended up having to pay out of pocket because my insurance kind of sucks (not their fault). Everything was explained to me, including every charge before I was charged. I walked in and out in 30 mins on a Saturday with my brand new Oakley eyeglasses ordered for under $300 including frames and an optional lens coating. This is where my family will do business as long as we live in the area.

Long wait after scheduled time for eye exam (made worse by the fact that no patients preceded us). No communication from staff as to when the Dr. would be available. After new lenses were framed, the guy behind the desk came out (no name tag of course), slapped the glasses on my daughter, and made no adjustments at all. Upon leaving the store, she complained that the glasses were filthy - they didnt even clean the new lenses after they had been framed! Fingerprints and smudges everywhere. Very poor customer service - would NOT recommend. (NOTE: Parker Road Location)

Worst place ever! They sent me home with chipped lense and 0 adjustments which came INCLUDED. The lady tried to tell me I dropped my glasses and when I asked her to show me any signs of wear she couldnt find any and kept accusing me of breaking them! Then tells me I was in several months ago yet I called yesterday and they said they would fix it. So once I showed the reciept that I was in recently she acted so snobby and told me my glasses werent worth fixing and they got them so cheap anyway. WOW steer clear of this rediculous place!!!

Excellent shopping experience and right next to du. The sales staff got me fitted with a very good looking set of frames and the doctor was very quick and efficient. Everyone was very friendly and if not for needing to dilate me eyes, I wouldve been in and out in 30 minutes with an order on the way. Keep in mind that though they have specials, you can rack up some nice charges. Insurance helped a lot. Wouldve 670, and with high quality everything they were able to bring it down to 240. Definitely coming back.
