Ive been a patient at Coast Dental for some 10 years now. The staff has always been extremely courteous and professional. I just started taking my youngest daughter in as well and she loves the place. The staff always makes her feel special and they remember to ask me about her every time Im in without her. This kind of service and personal touch is lost in most of our society. Its nice to have found a place that makes you feel like person and not an account number!! Now for the STANDOUTS of this operation. James my dental hygienist is absolutely amazing!! I have extremely sensitive teeth and he is the ONLY hygienist that has ever cleaned my teeth without agonizing pain. He even makes it a point to keep a special set of tools that have started to dull just a bit (makes them less painful) especially for me!! Then theres Amy. She works at the front desk. Im particular about money and billing, most people find it a little aggravating but Amy has always accommodated my request. Ill call her othen and request specific information and a call back later that day. She NEVER forgets about me. I really appreciate that!! Lastly, the manager Nicole. Shes the sparkle that makes this place shine. An attitude of service starts at the top. Nicole is the ultimate example of what taking care of your patients s looks like!! Its no wonder this office is so AMAZING!! Get your "grill" looking great and get treated like a rock star!! Go to Coast!!

WARNING DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE IN BRANDON!!!!!!! Coast dental is an overall good dentist, except this office. NOBODY there knows how to book appointments and keep them. If you ask a receptionist a question over the phone, then ask another staff member the same question,GUARANTEED! your getting a totally different answer. I made an appointment on weds for the following day, the next day they cancelled and needed to reschedule, ok no biggie. I rescheduled week later for a friday. So friday rolls around. I get there, sign in, and take a seat. 5min later the recptionist asks me if I could reschedule because there running behind. My answer was" no, I need this proceedure done and over with as soon as possible", so she disappears. Fifteen minutes later, she calls my name and brings me to the back and sits me down in the dentist chair. Ten minutes later the same recptionist comes back and tells me that the Doctor thats working on my tooth isnt there on fridays..... NEED I SAY MORE! I dont think these people take anything serious. Their administrative office clearly doesnt know what there doing. This office is disorganized and pitiful. Overall ghetto as hell, but they try to scholar it up by what they believe is customer service jargon. Read the other complaints and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

TERRIBLE PLACE NEVER WILL GO BACK!!! STAFF GOT IN A FIGHT CURSING AND ALL RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!! ABOUT THE STAFF: 1. Do not expect anyone in the staff to acknowledge you arrived for the first hour. 2. Expect a lot of attitude from the staff, maybe even a fight between them. The OFFICE MANAGER got in a verbal fight with another staff member right in front of me, when I went to report it she told me SHE was the OFFICE MANAGER! I wanted to run! ABOUT SERVICE: 1. Never had more pain during X-Rays! These people do not know what they are doing! I worked at a dental office before and never was I in pain, specially during X-Rays! 2. I was seen more than an hour late both times I went, the only reason I went back is because the first visit they were so far behind THEY RAN OUT OF TIME to clean my teeth! I had to take 2 days from work! 3. Saw a dentist for 2 minutes and this was before I even did a cleaning, he complimented my teeth. The second day I had a cleaning from a man who said the condition of my teeth needed deeper cleaning, NOT WHAT THE DENTIST SAID! NEVER AGAIN. When I called to cancell my appointment the office manager hung up on me before I could explain to her why I never plan on going back. Thats how little these people care.

If I could give them negative five stars, I would. It was the worst dental experience ever. I got there everyone that came in after me got called in before me. Then after the first 45 min wait I took X-rays and was told to wait in a room the Dr will be in, in a few minutes. I fell asleep waiting after almost an hour. He looked around in my mouth and said the d. A. Would bring me a print out about the work I need done. Then a hygienist came in and did pretty much the same thing and looked around in my mouth.. I sat waiting again never spoke to or saw an actual dentist never got my teeth cleaned. Apparently I needed another appointment to get a cleaning thats supposed to be included in the visit. After over two hours of pretty much waiting they told me I had to wait another half hour to get my teeth cleaned. I told them Im not waiting. They tried to schedule me an appointment I shouldve told them to go to hell... I will never return to them or refer them to anyone the service, well lack of was horrible. It was the most bizarre dental experience ever.

I wish this would let me select half a star. It is by far the worst dental office I have ever been to. The equipment had rust on it, they had buckets of chemicals in the X-ray room as if it was a janitor closet. The majority of the staff is not friendly, except the lady at the front desk taking the calls. Their x-rays are sub-par and did not show the 2 cavities that I have forming between my teeth that I have previous x-rays of from a different dental office. They would not even consider looking at my previous x-rays. If it were still the 90s or a 3rd world country this practice would be ok, but its not and there is no excuse for their quality of business. I would compare them to a crooked mechanic shop that will rip people off because they can and not fix the problem. It was a waste of my insurance and now I have to go to another dentist and pay out of pocket because they wont cancel my insurance claim even though they did nothing to help me. Also the office manager is out until Friday, is there only one? Who manages the place when she isnt there?

Coast Dental in Brandon has been such a pleasure. Sherie and James have made me feel so comfortable. After having so many negative experiences at the Dentist.. it really is encouraging to have such a positive experience. Sherie worked with me first and immediately she began to have a conversation with me about something other than my teeth (she must have known I was nervous.. lol). Although she was engaging in conversation with me, I was given specific details of what was going to happen every step of the way. Thank you Sherie! You have no idea how much that impacted me. I look forward to seeing you every visit now! James was who worked with me next. Past cleanings were painful. However, James was very aware of my body language and often asked if I was okay. He was genuinely concerned and was willing to give me a minute if necessary. Thank you James! Sherie and James, If it werent for your genuinely kind spirits I would not look forward to my visits to Coast Dental in Brandon.
