I almost cried when I saw how affordable my treatment plan was. Coming from a dentist who heaped expensive treatments on me and became passive aggressive or demanding when I said I could not afford them and tried to work out cheaper alternatives, Smile Designs care for my financial constraints and concerns was incredibly refreshing. Everyone who was saw me was friendly and made sure I knew every step of the way what was going on and why. One of the nurses (assistants?) sat with me and went over my plan, helping me figure out what each item was, and puzzle out when I could get what taken care of. She was patient and kind when answering my questions, helping me understand why X needed to wait or why something had to come first. She even rechecked my insurance to make sure the prices were what they should be, which helped knock a few down! Sadly, I forgot to get her name. Dr. Honig was friendly and interactive and clearly knew his stuff! He actually ended up revealing to me (through his assessment and treatment plan) issues my previous dentists claimed I had so they could get the more expensive treatments out of me. When he did my filling it was quick and painless, and I love what it looks like. Im honestly and truly delighted to have found a dentistry that clearly cares more about me and the health of my teeth than getting the most money out of my pocket. I will most certainly be using Smile Dentistry for as long as Im in the area, and didnt hesitate to immediately recommend them to my Uber driver when I left.

This is the worst experience I have ever had at any medical office. I was a new patient and have spent almost a grand out of pocket for services not worth half. I went in and was told I need a revision root canal and was referred to the office in Carrolwood. Afterwards, I went in for a temporary crown. That crown fell off the day after. I called the office and was scheduled to come back to reinstall. I was told not to floss or eat anything sticky or hard...understood. The new temp fell off within a week. I went back in and the Head Assistant (Yajaira), replaced the temporary crown and mentioned that the person who installed the temporary in the first place did not smooth it out. The temp she installed lasted about 6 days and fell off while I was on vacation... eating nothing sticky or hard. Once I returned I was told my permanent crown had arrived! Of course.. this does not fit and the doctor orders another one and I am left with another temporary crown again.. this was December 29th and I have not received a permanent crown... and OF COURSE the temporary crown has come out leaving my tooth exposed. The only offer has been to use toothpaste or spend money on a temporary adhesive at Walmart or some pharmacy. I requested to speak with someone in corporate and was told "that information is not given out". There is no way I should be paying $400 dollars out of pocket for this foolery. I suggest you find a competent dental office and avoid needing to take time off from work for nonsense.

If I could give zero stars for this I would. I recently decided to find a dentist who was closer to home, as these people bought out Dr. Pulliam, who had been our dentist for a number of years. When I requested to have our x-rays sent to the new dentist, I was told by someone at Smile Design USF that they had been sent. Yet, when I contacted the new dentist - nothing. This went on for nearly a month. I started early in case there was an issue, which there obviously was. When my wife came down in person to request our records, she was informed that there was no way to access them, that the software which held the files was not accessible to them. Now, who buys a practice and does not make an effort to utilize records of work previously done? This is absurd. If they had no intention to use the software that holds the record database, they should have had those records migrated over to the system they are currently using. This lack of continuance of service does not inspire confidence. I am very glad that I an switching dentists.

Smile Design Dentistry is INCOMPETENT and UNPROFESSIONAL. Dr. Noah B. Honig prescribed an penicillin antibiotic knowing that I was allergic which was provided on my Allergies list that caused me to have an horrible and painful allergic reaction. I prepaid for services which I later on canceled due to the allergic reaction in total $500 that has not been refunded back to me which is now going on 3 months. This was my first and last visit. Every time I call or go up to the office regarding my refund the manager always provide Ill call you later and never call. I canceled all services scheduled after my allergic reaction and still have not receiving my refund. EOB provides company receiving payment for consultation. Ive never experienced a company that prescribes incorrect medicine and hold money for services that was not provided.

It was my first time going to this practice and I had a great experience as far as dental appointments go. Since I was a new patient, I had to fill out a few forms once I got there but the wait wasnt very long afterwards. The staff were professional and friendly; it felt like they genuinely cared about giving me the best treatment. They asked if I had any pain/problems with my teeth at the start of the checkup, talked to me before taking any actions, explained the referred treatments and the current state of my teeth, and understood my concerns for the monetary costs of the appointment. I was taken care of very well and would definitely recommend this practice to a friend.

I must have come on the wrong day?!! When I left his office I was in extreme pain, very frustrated and in tears. It all came down to one thing......the fee involved. He wanted $5050 to do what was needed. They do not wait for insurance. They want the entire amount in full at the start. They will talk payments but $200 a month was not enough. So...once again like most dentist it is all about the money. I know they have expenses and need to be paid but not everyone can pay all at once. I give up.

I work in upper management for a corporation and my time is very valuable, time off is a luxury I cannot afford to lose. Smile design got me in the same day I called, and then the very next day for a follow up. I have already recommended them to a few friends and colleagues. Very professional and a nice clean office. I chose them after looking at dentist near me, they were the fifth closet to me but with the best reviews and they earned it. Look forward to having them for years to come.

I absolutely love this dentist office. I finally found my dentist!!! Ive had some bad experiences in the past at other places. This place is amazing. The staff is very nice and the dentist is very good at what he does. The office is immaculate. The best thing is they get you in and out in record time. Anybody can go to school for whatever. You can tell the dentist and his staff had to be at the top of their classes. I would highly recommend this place to everybody.
