DO NOT GO TO ASPEN DENTAL! What a scam!! My husband, my 22 year old son and I all went to Aspen as we were unable to get into our regular dentist within a reasonable amount of time. They told my husband that he had periodontal disease. He went thru a terribly painful procedure to have a periodontal cleaning done. It took 3 visits (they break it up because the procedure is so painful) and the cost beyond our insurance was $2200. They told my son that his gums were drastically receding and he would need surgery immediately. He was getting ready to leave for college and it was recommended that he miss school to have the procedure done because it was that serious. I was told that I had a receding gum issue and I needed a prescription paste that needed to be purchased from Aspen Dental and refilled by them every 30 days. It was $30 for the paste. (I purchased the paste for 3 months from them and quit). Since those visits we have been back to our regular dentist who is highly regarded in the dental world and travels around speaking. He said that my husband has absolutely no signs of periodontal disease. My son does not have any receding gums and neither do I. We have since heard multiple stories similar in nature. If I figure out how to report them on a more serious level, I absolutely will. I dont recall that I have ever written a negative review about a business but I feel that it is important to get this out there. SCAM!

Well I didnt get anything done because of a mistake on their end being they didnt type my information in the computer, saying my birthday was incorrect on my insurance which I call the 1-800 number when I got home where you have to give your enrollment ID number along with my birthday which is the same birthday I gave them and my information went through, and I also checked with HR when I got to work the same day and the said it wasnt a mistake on their part it was the dentist office mistake so instead of her owning up to the mistake being on them she continued to play along and telling me to check with my employer and human resources at work. But again why did the information go through for me but not for them because the woman at the front desk typed it in wrong so it was a waste of my time and I still have a tooth ache, so looking to found another dentist ones who will take responsibility for their mistake. So when I called back up to Aspen Dentist to talk to the lady and ask her when I called the number on my insurance card and had to type in my membership number along with my birthday it went through but she couldnt explain why it didnt for them and kept saying check with my people when she knew it was on there end so I wont be going back, trying to remove the one star Ive given them and leave no stars very disappointed and wasted my time and my cab fare just to get nothing done.

The Dental Bridge I had as my upper front teeth fell out while I was attending training for work. I was out of town at the time, but called Aspen Dental on my first break. I was given an appointment @ 7:00 AM on the first day I was available. I am not a vain person, but I could not work without teeth. That morning I Dr. Mary examined me and told me I did not have many options. We decided to get a full upper denture. I went to an office and talked with young man about financing. I signed some paperwork and told him I want it done as soon as possible. Nurse Nick took an impression and told me to be back at 2:45. When I returned, I was placed in a chair where Dr. Mary extracted several teeth without any pain, and by 4:30 I walked out with a new smile. I was wearing my new denture. As a supervisor who believes in the coaching style of management, the staff at ASPEN DENTAL, is a team that could win the World Series. A special THANK YOU, to the entire staff in Fort Gratiot, Michigan.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE, Arrived feeling fine, left feeling very stressed and upset, this is never a good sign for a business in the PRACTICE OF HEATLH CARE. Dental tech was very nice, building and equipment modern and clean. Hygienist makes diagnosis, not in her pay grade. Took 2 hours before seeing a dentist (Dr. Scott ) with absolutely NO Bed Side Manner. They also take your BLOOD PRESSURE, but tech was asking me questions during procedure, a definite NO ,NO, but did not give advice about above normal reading. I already have a family doctor, licensed to practice medicine and treat any blood pressure issues. Appears they are pressed to sell expensive procedures ( DEEP CLEANING ) not needed and not covered by most insurance. BOTTOM LINE, for those who must use Aspen, because of insurance restrictions (IN NETWORK) ask questions and do your own due diligence before agreeing to any treatment or procedures. Hopefully, you will have a better experience?

Very good experience here. Had my wisdoms removed about a week ago. I dont have insurance so I had to pay out of pocket, and obviously getting knocked out was going to be $400 more, so I had to skip that and just get locals. I was extremely nervous the entire time, but they went at my pace and made sure I was okay the entire time. They answered all my questions and went over everything that I needed to know. During the procedure I had the oral surgeon and two other ladies in the room, I believe their names were Kelly and Katherine. They made me very comfortable for me and kept me aware and made sure I was okay the entire time by calming me down. It was a little procedure but it was done phenomenal. If my stitches werent there you would not even be able to tell I had any teeth removed. Recommend to anyone!

Absolute scam. They said they accepted my insurance (I have full dental and have never paid a dime for dental my entire life) and that I could come in for a cleaning. When I get there the employees are too busy running over to Starbucks and talking to get you in the back, then once they do they tell me they are not cleaning my teeth and just doing X-rays. Why wouldnt you do both in the same day. That has never happened to me before. Then the manager tries to get me to sign a form to pay $265. For what? They had all my insurance information weeks prior which they claimed the accepted, and still havent cleaned my teeth. I told them Im not interested and left. Theres a big picture out front that says free x rays and exam. Then they send me a bill for $400. Absolute scam, horrible shady business DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Who enjoys going to the dentist? Nobody! This, I must say was the best experience Ive ever had. From start finish. I was 15 minutes early to do paperwork, once done I was called back. The dental assistant was fantastic. My dentist was as well. They were sensitive yet professional. I was taken care of and they did an amazing job. Thank you so much. You are my new dental hygiene office for keeps. Ive referred 3 people there within 24 hours of my experience. :-D. Amazing staff at the Fort Gratiot, MI Aspen Dental.
