Let me start of saying the Doctor was awesome for an eye exam, But it stops there!!! Seek your glasses, Frames , and contacts some where else . Horrible customer service .The girl selling glasses will try to rob you . I have insurance and for just lenses she was trying to charge me $300 out of pocket! i told her that one of my family members last week went to Lens crafters and got identical lenses for less than half that price. She told me that was impossible , looked at me like i was crazy and didnt do anything further to look into the pricing to see if my insurance was paying them correctly. She just stated that is the price. I left and went to lens crafters and bought better lenses with upgrades after insurance paid their part, i paid out of pocket $ 123 , big difference over the $300 Sheridan eye wanted to charge!!! So as of today they lost 3 clients!! And anybody i can tell , AVOID THIS PLACE and again no customer service was offered!! And for The Owners this needs to be addressed, this happend Saturday 2/27/2016. There is some serious re training that needs to be done of your front desk staff or you will continue to lose customers!!!

This place had a Groupon last year. I will say the frames I got were very nice. However, they have "different" prices for people with a Groupon, than someone off the street as the two young girls at the front told me and showed me in their white binder. Groupon people get charged way more so that this place could still make a large profit. So those $150 you think youre saving by buying the Groupon is just an illusion, You will still end up paying very high prices for a decent pair of frames. Additionally, the two young girls seemed very lost and spoke very loudly about personal issues - to which I could clearly hear when I was in the waiting area, which I consider to be extremely unprofessional. I wouldnt recommend this place, for the simple fact that the "different" prices depending on who was asking seemed dishonest.

Best Groupon I ever paid for! Each pair of glasses I ever got did not help with my headaches. My headaches would still be there after wearing my glasses and was told I had to get used to them. Well.. come to find out the optometrist at Sheridan Eye Care told me I had a unique prescription and was part of the 5% who had similar issues. He took his time to find the correct lenses for me and didnt cut me short because I came in with a Groupon. My headaches are gone and the tension in my neck and shoulders are gone and I would have never thought the tension in my shoulders was because of my eyes. I got two pairs of glasses. Yes they were a bit PRICEY but I wouldnt know what Id do without them.!!!

Bottom line, Im going elsewhere for my next eye appointment. The conclusion is solely based on value. The mens eyeglass selection was very limited & I feel I could have gotten more for what I paid ($300 for glasses with insurance). My visit was not a horrible experience, the doctor was very nice. The Assistant had a lot going on and could not help me selecting eye glasses as much as I would like but, as I said, the Mens eyeglass selection was very limited. If I had to do it over, I would have gotten my eyeglass prescription and gone to Costco to get it filled. Costco has a wider selection of mens glasses and are much less expensive. Next time, just going to Costco. Live and learn!

The Doctor was extremely friendly unlike the staff. The lady who was suppose to help select a pair of glasses wasnt helpful at all. She told me to choose a pair of glasses and once I found ones that I liked I stood and waited for about 10 minutes with no assistance from the 3 ladies who were there. Once the lady who was assisting noticed that I was ready she sat me down and just began writing on a sheet of paper while still conversing with the other staff members. I understand that she may have been multitasking but to be so rude was a bit disturbing. I purchased an eye exam and eyewear Groupon voucher and really wished I selected a different place.

I went to Dr. Sappal today after switching from my other optometrist office of 13 years. I was a little apprehensive at first, but after seeing great reviews and my visit today, my mind is at ease. It looks like I found my new eye doctor. He is extremely polite, professional, and knowledable. He was patient enough to answer all the questions I could throw at him as well. Additionally, the staff was super friendly. The pricing is fair, at $99 for both contact and eyeglass exam including a trial pair of contacts, and few samples of solution. If you are looking for an eye doctor, I would highly recommend him.

Im not impressed. My first appt. was fine, but certainly nothing special. Next I had a 10:00 appt., but noone was there. At 10:15 the receptionist came, but the Dr. wasnt there. She called him and he said he had car trouble and would be there in 30 minutes. I decided to wait since I really needed to get my glasses. 45 minutes later he called and said hed be there in 15 minutes. So after waiting for an hour I figured he was bound to come soon. Well, he never showed up and I left. Neither he nor the receptionist bothered to call me to reschedule or apologize. If you ask me, I was the "most patient patient!"

I purchased eye glasses from Sheridan Eye Care for a total sum of $632.80. The glasses are unusable. I have to move the glasses with my finger towards my forehead to read text on my computer and phone. I cannot read anything far away. The glasses is loose and want to fall off my nose. The doctor was very friendly but I am not sure if he is proficient at testing. The girls at the counter are not friendly and they only try to sell you everything under the sun. I am going to return the glasses, since I have started using my old glasses again.

Kindly do yourself a favor and avoid this place!!! avoid it like a plague. I went in for my eye exam and came back with a umber that was soo horribly wrong, i wonder if the doctor even was a real doctor. I really would want someone to check his diplomas.. he couldnt do one exam correct and needless to say i never wet back to the horrible place. i went to another optometrist after noticing i cudnt see good with the new glasses this place had given me and found out how incorrect my prescription was. bad bad experience.. horrible place.

My experience with Dr. Sappal and staff was phenomenal! Ive worn eyeglasses for 40 plus years and this was the first time my prescription was downgraded and more importantly I can see much better! I had the pleasure of working with three different staff members and all were very professional and friendly. They even went above and beyond in offering (I didnt ask) to transfer a specific frame from the Coral Springs location. If youre looking for great customer service and selection, look no further!
