Dr Sapal seemed up to date however his staff at the coral springs was absolutley horrible. The heavy set blond lady was unprofessional and had an attitude when I asked questions. She seemed like she didnt want to be bothered. They other thing, they have a sign stating they take an unscheduled lunch daily. You must call to confirm your appointment to make sure they are in the office. So if they decide to take lunch for your appointment you must reschedule your schedule for them????? I decided not to buy my glasses there and went to the Pembroke pines locations. The staff there was so much more helpful. Ultimately I didnt buy glasses at all with them. I found them through groupon and the groupon was a joke. It was for 225 for an eye exam, glasses, and lenses. You were to pay anything about the 225. The lenses I buy for computer work cost me $60 at my regular Dr. The lenses at Dr. Sapals office were three times ( $160) the amount with over priced frames. I think it was just a trick to get you in the door. Im not a sucker so wont be going back. They made the groupon not worth using. Save your time and find a different Dr. With an exam, glasses adn frames I still get a better deal with my normal doc.

This is the place to go!! I was sanding my boat and had fiberglass shavings in my eye. At the time I thought the shavings were washed out. For about two weeks my eye bothered me and then I made an appointment at the office due to the fact my eye was swelling shut. Even though the doctor was not seeing patients that morning the office manager put me in and the doctor came in to address my problem. Not a common thing for a doctor to do now a days. I found the staff and the doctors in this office to be very professional and caring. I appreciated the promptness of getting me in and the quality of care that I received. They listened to me and made me feel at ease. I would and will recommend this office to all my workers,family and friends! Thank You to the staff and the doctors!! See You Soon

I visited Sheridan eye care after all great reveiws here. But I would say, stay away. Doctors were good, but there are not much frame selections. Staffs were unfriendly. One particular thing really pissed me off is the cost of service for my son. When scheduling appointment I was told cost of eye checkup is $59 for fist time patient with discount. My son being first time patient I was expecting the discount be applied, but they charged him $75 without discount. When asked about the discount, they said there is no discount for child. While scheduling appointment they new it was for child. What really pisses me off is not more spend from my side, but the staff behavior and loss of trust! Given a chance, I will reconsider going back to them and probably will never go back there

I would recommend this office to everyone! The office is very conveniently located and very professional! from the time you walk in the door to the time you leave the staff is very friendly and caring. The doctors are Great! I was not to sure that the script my daughter had received from a previous place was accurate. I called the office and explained my reason for the visit. So happens my daughters script was a little off. The doctor did not try to pressure me to change out her lens. He told me to come back in 6months and they would test her again. And because of that I trust that my daughters care is whats important the $$ Since then we have stopped into the office and they have fixed bent frames.You will receive quality care and service from beginning to end!!

Ive had eye problems since birth, so Ive dealt with optometrists my entire life. I can honestly say this is one of the best optometrists Ive seen. Since moving to Florida seven years ago, Ive used a different optometrist every year - every single one of them was one of those sit-down-for-ten-minutes, heres-a-quick-exam, heres-your-prescription, bye-thanks-for-your-money kind of places. Sheridan Eye Care is not like that at all, and I will definitely be back next year for my annual exam. The staff are very friendly and Dr. Sappal actually engages you, asks you for feedback, and informs you about what sort of conditions you might be dealing with. This is the way it should be in any part of the medical field, but is sadly lacking in most parts.

Very unprofessional. I called as a new customer and set up an appointment for 10am. No problem with the appointment until I got there. The receptionist informed me that they did not take my insurance even though I gave them the info at the time I set it. Not only did they cancel my appointment, she canceled the Doctor as well. How can you trust anyone with your eyesight when they screw up something so simple. They have two offices but the Doctor bounces back and forth. It turns out that they do take my insurance but after taking time off from work for this runaround I will not be back and will inform anyone that asked to avoid this place.

Inaccurate prescription. My son was seen by Dr. Sappal and after receiving his glasses, my son complained that he could not see out of them. Hes only had these glasses 3 months and failed the eye test at school with the lenses Dr. Sappal made. We took him to another doctor who said that the glasses were completely wrong. My son had astigmatism and the lenses did not correct for that, and basically were useless. On top of that, my son needed bifocals, which was not diagnosed in our visit with Dr. Sappal. To top things off, the frames broke after 3 months also! I was completely disappointed with this doctor..

I am a new client of Sheridan eye. I cant begin to express how grateful I am that I found this office. The staff is beyond helpful and the doctors are understanding. The doctors were kind and made recommendations best for my care. I was able to find the perfect pair of glasses. They were designer frames for a very reasonable price. I must say they are the best pair Ive had so far. But no worries they have glasses for all budgets! Since my first visit I refer all my family here. I would recommend anyone looking for a new optometrist to definitely look into this office and Dr. Sappal.

Unfortunately my experience was not as stellar as all of the rest. The exam service and glass selection were basic. The staff I found to be young and only slightly knowledgeable. They appeared to be students. I was most disappointed with the glasses that just broke without explanation after 1 1/2 years and I was too late for the 1 yr warranty. Tragic. No one was willing to assist me. I left my glasses and walked out of the store never to return. Dont believe the hype. Small store, limited inventory, and disappointing service.

I love this place! I have now been a client for over two years. Last time I bought glasses through insurance and then my baby broke the glasses shortly afterward. Obviously I couldnt use insurance because it was still in within the year, but their prices were so good I was able to afford a second pair. This year my glasses were damaged and they expedited me getting new ones within the week. The staff is friendly and helpful and the Dr. takes his time to answer any questions I have. Great experiences!
