I cannot possibly say enough positive things about BVS. Dr.s Seaman and Moore, the nurses, and staff are absolutely the most amazing, compassionate, dedicated and knowledgeable people imaginable. They have provided my dog (and me!) the best care possible. They answer all my questions promptly and with courtesy. They have never made me feel bad for asking too much about my dogs care. The office is clean and comfortable. Like so many other people, my dog IS my child, and she deserves only the very best treatment. She gets that at BVS. South Florida is lucky to have such an amazing team here. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this place if your beloved pet is ever in need of the very best in specialized care. ADDENDUM: although my beloved dog finally lost her battle with cancer, I trusted Dr. Seaman to give her a painless, gentle departure from this world. She was so warm and helpful through this most difficult time. I am grateful because I truly believe that without her help, my sweetheart would not have lived as long, or as happily, as she did. I miss that dog every single day, but take comfort in knowing she got the very best treatment possible with BVS.

Dr. Seaman both saved my Basset Hounds life and made his life enjoyable again. Hed quit eating, was vomiting occasionally and was incredibly lethargic. His regular vet is outstanding, -- Dr. John Eccher of Just Paws Animal Clinic. in Pembroke Pines. The doctor tried the normal treatments with no success, then ran a liver test. He reviewed the results and told me to drive directly from his office to Dr. Seamans; hed call ahead for an appointment. My hound, Dr. Seaman found via biopsy, has an auto-immune deficiency where his body is attacking his own intestine and manifesting itself as cirrhosis of the liver. He wasnt going to make it much longer without treatment. Dr. Seaman was kind, caring and extremely competent. A year and a half later, Max is happily snoozing on my foot as I type this, waiting to go for his walk around the lake and trying to decide whether he really wants to invite the poodle down the street over for canine cake and ice cream in honor of his 12th birthday or just to leave the poodle at home and invite his Labrador pals instead.

I was referred to Dr Moore through my regular Vet, Dr Gordon in Fort Lauderdale. He had Broward Veterinary Specialists care for his own dog when she ruptured her rear ligament. My dog Polo, a two-year-old retriever, needed that operation, TPLO. Dr. Moore, Amanda, and the entire staff work together to provide the best imaginable care. The care that Polo received was better than the care I received at my own hospital. When Polo needed the same operation on the other leg I would not have considered any other doctor. The day that Polo found me at the dog shelter, I promised I would do the very best I could for him. I know I kept that promise when I brought him to Dr. Moore at Broward Veterinary Specialists. He repays me every day, many times over. Jerry Cassizzi and Polo (") (")

As a lifetime owner of multiple dogs and cats, I have to say that this is one of the most compassionate and competent veterinary offices I have ever been to. We went for a second opinion regarding my 12 year old dog. Unfortunately, there was not much that could be done for him but Dr. Moores honesty and immediate understanding and articulation of the situation was incredibly helpful. The staff was communicative and thoughtful, bringing a blanket for my dog who had a hard time standing on the immaculate floors. I only wish this facility was in Miami but it was well worth the drive. Dr. Moore called after we made the difficult decision and said some very comforting things. Highly recommended.

I went there for a 3rd opinion after 2 other vets couldnt accurately diagnosis for my dog. She had been vomiting and gradually losing weight, and even after multiple xrays, ultrasounds, labs, etc, we could not get a real diagnosis and effective treatment. Under the care of Dr Seaman we tried various approaches and eventually had to perform exploratory surgery as a last resort. Dr Moore did a great job with the surgery as well as explaining everything he was looking for. My dog was diagnosed with a very severe case of IBD and is now taking medication daily and eats special food. If it were not for the experience and expertise of Dr Seaman, my dog would likely have died. Thank you Dr Seaman!

I highly recommend Broward Veterinary Specialists for your pets needs. My dog Paco is a complicated case who has seen various vets for a multitude of problems. He saw Dr. Moore on Friday and I was so impressed by how loving, caring, and professional the staff at BVS is. Dr. Moore took his time to explain his findings and answer all of my questions. He was very thorough, understanding, and supportive. I will definitely be coming back for veterinary services. The front desk staff was also very attentive and caring. Great job guys! I am so happy my Paco recieved such amazing care!

I am very disappointed in the way Dr. Seaman treated my family member after I had recommended him to go BVS. He was told that his tattoo was offensive and he needed to cover it when he came to the office. He spent a substantial amount of money having his pet treated there and to be told that he needed to cover his tattoo because she found it offensive is bad business and distasteful. His tattoo has no nudity or anything that anyone but Dr. Seaman finds to be offensive. So if you have a tattoo highly recommend that you do not bring your pet to Dr. Seaman.

Our cat has a tumor on her leg and we were referred to BVS to have it checked out. The nurse weighed our cat and felt the tumor, then the surgeon came and talked to us. Without any other examinations he told us that he believed it was cancer and that the best choice was to amputate her leg. After explaining that an amputation was out of our financial possibility, he handed us a bill for $125 just for being there. We are now fighting this charge through our credit card and I will never return here.

This is the first veterinary clinic where my CoCo does not tremble when entering, it smells very good and treats him like a special being that he is, A lot of dedication, professionalism, will and love for our pets. My French Bulldog has suffered with breathing problems for years and Dr. Moore and his staff has now done 2 surgeries on his soft pallette and air passage. The staff takes excellent care of him and Dr. Moore is amazing at explaining all options and solutions with the dogs best interest at hand. I would recommend anyone with surgery or any specialty needs. They are truly the top clinic to bring your furry loved one to and literally life savers.
