**Edited: 11/8/16; I changed my rating from 2 to 3 stars because Dr. Parks contacted me right away to address my concerns. He recognized my complaints had merit. And he reassured me the staff would work on improving their communication system so that my situation wouldnt repeat itself with me or any other patient. Also, the construction around the area should be done in a year. His immediate call and genuine concern made me feel valued.** Please note I hardly ever write a review...however... Im so disappointed by the administrative side of my service. I followed Dr. Parks from his Wylie office because of his exceptional care and the diligent customer service from the front office. My experience at Eyecare Rockwall left much to be desired. I had to contact the office multiple times to get an update when I had been promised a call back. There were instances of miscommunication; not once, not twice, but three times. Long story short, after over a month since my first check-up, I still dont have my contacts. I sat here and went into detail of each instance where I felt they fell short in meeting my legitimate expectations as a patient. But then I realized that would go against my biggest concern of all...we are all busy people in need of an efficient service handled by staff who understand those needs.So Ill spare you my long tale of woe because you are probably busy and just looking for an honest unbiased review. Ive been using glasses and corrective lenses since i was 8. Its frustrating to feel limited in my job, social life, and even home life because I dont have the tools I need to achieve my tasks. (Yes, I have glasses but as a tech Im much more comfortable working without having to pull them up every minute). To be clear, I cant say any of the various staff members whom I spoke with over the phone were ever disrespectful or had anything less than a friendly voice. Since Dr. Parks was full I saw Dr. Zinser. She was knowledgeable and kind. One of my concerns was that it took over a week to get my prescription signed and entered which delayed my ordering process that never ended up taking place. The Wylie office is just as far from my home as the Eyecare Rockwall office. But the drive then was 100% worth it, not only because of their friendly attitude, but because I felt taken care of. My first experience in this office left me with the opposite impression. Besides, traffic is horrible in the area.

I scheduled an appointment for me for today after taking my daughter for her appointment a couple of days ago. I scheduled it for 4 pm, took off work at 3 to make it on time and when I got there 10 minutes early the girl at the front told me that I was late that my appointment was at 3:30 and that it was 3:50 now so there is nothing she could do for me. I told her that it was for 4 and she acted like I was wrong and just offered to reschedule, I said no and walked out. I went home to check the card they gave me when I scheduled my appointment and sure enough, it was for 4:00 p.m. the fact this receptionist made me feel like I was wrong and also I wasted 2 hours of my work day only to be turned away is very disappointing. Rest assured that I will not be going back, and also know that word of mouth spreads fast. Treat everyone with respect and try to give people the benefit of the doubt!! Youve lost my and my familys business, its a shame because Dr. Park was awesome.

Love this place! Ive been seen here as a patient since I first moved to Texas, in 2006, and getting the opportunity to work at an office where I truly believe in the doctors as well as their family values is such a bonus!!

I absolutely love Dr. Britt. She is always so sweet and her staff is kind and efficient. The new offices are really nice with much more space and a much larger selection for frames.
