If I could give this establishment zero stars I would. Visited them yesterday after suffering severe abdominal pain for the previous two days. Although no one was in the waiting room, I still waited for 30 minutes before making it back to a room. Once the doctor finally saw me he said we are going to take and xray and draw some blood to check for infections. I preceded to wait 45 minutes before the doctor came back in the room to tell me that there machine for blood work was not working. He then told me not to worry, so I figured that my xray must show something for him to have been so confident in my blood work being irrelevant. He than said, and I quote " you seem like maybe you might be a little backed up" I said maybe? He told me its probably nothing and to keep doing what I am doing. I told him I had been taking laxatives to no effect and requested something of prescription strength to get thinks moving, he refused and said it was unnecessary. Thinking that doesnt make sense but I figured Ill just go home and double the dose of what I was already taking. I then said since it seems like nothing will be changing for a day or two, I could really use a day or twos worth of something to help me get some sleep while Im dealing with the cramps etc. Because I keep waking up at night due to them. Not seeking pain medication, or any form of narcotic, just something other than a benedryl to help me get some rest. He refused yet again, saying we dont want to do anything to mask the pain... which makes no sense because I am at my MAX level of pain already and clearly theres nothing he was willing to do to actually fix the problem, plus the fact that I wasnt even looking for a pain medication I was looking for something to get a good night rest, therefore not masking any pain to begin with. I left the office in the same condition I came in, with no answers and no form of relief. The only thing you will get at doctors express in an incompetent doctor, with no compassion, and no respect. STAY AWAY. I will be going to the hospital and pending the outcome may potentially file a malpractice suit against this doctor. - I will say the female nurse was extremely nice, and sweet. Its a shame such a good woman is working there.

This was my second visit to this facility and another positive experience. I left work early due to having a fever, chills, runny nose, body aches, and a horrible headache that hit me out of no where. I have two small children so it was important to me to find out what my illness was before returning home to them. Upon arriving, everything went smooth and I was taken back to their triage room within 10 minutes. After taking vital signs and important information needed to care for me better, the doctor had already ordered a flu and strep test. I was placed in a room, tests performed and the doctor came in quickly to assess me. The doctor really listened to what I had to say, he did a very thorough assessment, and he offered me several options for symptom relief. Soon after that, I was diagnosed with the flu. One of the best things they did for me was the fact that they sent my prescription electronically so it was ready for me when I arrived at the drug store. All I wanted to do was pick it up quick and get to bed asap. I was literally in and out in about 45 minutes. They worked well together as a team. The doctor and nurses were so nice and caring. I have been to Care Now before, but Im so glad I discovered this facility. They are professional, caring, and they use technology to get you your medications filled faster. I will no longer go anywhere else for my urgent care needs. Doctors Express will always be my first choice from now on. As a nurse and a mother, I would highly recommend this business.

HERE IS WHAT HAPPENED TO ME TODAY: I had sprained my foot severely (I still dont know if it is cracked or not, as they had no radiologist). After X-Rays I sat in the waiting room. They told me to go and I said "Wait, cant I ask the doctor what he is prescribing"? "No, he is busy", they said gruffly. I get to the pharmacy only to find out that I was RXed a steroid -- fine for most, but I have had blood clots (2) and it will aggravate my psoriasis The pharmacist said the other prescription was akin to Advil. The pharmacist calls and asks why the odd prescriptions: no answer. I left. I called and explained this. I was told because I take controlled substances (NO PAINKILLERS), just psychiatric medication. I hadnt EVEN REQUESTED controlled medications. I was rudely told I was a drug seeker. I am not, I had been in a psych hospital and attend a psychiatrist. Thats it. I have also suffered two pulmonary embolisms in the past. My foot is still blue and black. I pray for any patient with the misfortune of crossing paths with this judgmental physician. STAY AWAY FROM DOCTORS EXPRESS.

First thing Sunday morning my husband brought me to AFC Southlake. I was weak and nauseated I had sever low back pain and I could not walk and if I sat down it was so hard to get up. They got me checked in quickly. Dr Susan Anderson and staff we all very nice. Dr Anderson, reviewed the description of my pain and location. She was very thorough in her assessment. I had a low back muscle sprain. She explained the anatomy of the muscle so well. I had no clue that it would affect every movement I made. I was given medication for nausea and pain, with a prescription to fill. She recommended a plan of rest then therapy (chiropractic/massage). After a few days the office called to check on me to see how I was doing. Wow! This is what I call great medical service. Thank you AFC Southlake.

In the last 2 weeks both my wife and I were treated at the Southlake location. I had a severely sprained shoulder and my wife had an abrasion on her leg complicated by blood thinners. I was treated by Dr. Brandy Strange and my wife saw Dr. Amber Robinson. Both of these doctors were compassionate and highly competent as they diagnosed our specific issues, had appropriate scrips ordered from our pharmacy and provided appropriate instructions for our care at home. My wifes issue was obviously more complicated requiring cauterization and wound dressing by Dr. Robinson as well as detailed instructions for redressing at home. We were seen quickly on arrival and your front office staff handled the necessary paperwork in an equally competent manner. Both visits were all good!

A great urgent care clinic thats conveniently located near the DFW airport. I was unfortunate in having to make a couple of cross-country flights with an infected wound. But I was fortunate in finding Doctors Express in Southlake, Texas. The staff got me in quickly and the doctor I saw was very quick and professional in repacking the wound & answering all my questions about follow-up care. The charge for the visit was very reasonable and quoted to me upfront with no surprises. The owner of the clinic was there and seems to be very hands-on with his business which is probably why it operates so smoothly. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who lives in the Ft Worth area or even those just passing through who need a great clinic with nice doctors and staff.
