Ive waited until my dog saw another vet to make this review as honest and fair as possible. I recently took my dog here to have a bump on her chest looked at. They took a biopsy and told me there were some spindle cells that were found. I went home and researched spindle cells and was appalled by what I found. I felt uneasy about everything so I called back and requested to have the lab results so I could take them to another vet. I was given the results and it said the mass was only a lipoma, fat cells only, nothing about spindle cells was in the report. At this point they also gave me the estimate to have a marble sized (large marble) mass removed and it was almost 900 dollars. I did talk to the vet on the phone again and voiced my concern in the what I was told in the room vs. what the lab reports said. He then explained that he had some miscommunication with me and he did not see spindle cells but spindle nuclei. He was honest and owned up to the bad communication and apologized and amended my dogs record to concur with what he told me in the room. I still felt as if they were trying to make me worry unnecessarily so I would have the mass removed quickly by them at a high fee. I took my dog to the second vet for another opinion and nothing was found besides the fat cells concurrent with it being a lypoma, no spindle cells. That vet also gave me a estimate of just over 400 dollars, less than half of this vet and also said they didnt feel it was necessary to put my dog under anesthesia to do this procedure at this time because it wasnt really a problem. Take my experience how you will, but I wanted others to know so they werent put in the same position. I dont feel like anyone should be able to exploit my love for my animal for monetary gain and get away with it.

Took our new pup to the vet because he would drink a ridiculous amount of water and were informed that this could be a symptom of bigger issues. When my wife brought him there, they told us they would get a urine sample from him. About 5 minutes later they informed my wife that they had decided to use a catheter on this young puppy to get a urine sample. This is not the first thing a vet typically does to get a urine sample. There are other less invasive and in our case less destructive ways of extracting urine. The next 4 days our puppy has the urge to pee literally every 15 seconds. Potty training was out the window, due to the fact that he always tried to pee. they told us this would pass overnight and that we should call them back if it persisted. We called back and they prescribed some pain meds, which ended up doing nothing. Then they said we were put on a priority call list to check up on us. We never got a call. We changed vets and then discovered that our puppy had a UTI. As country view told us it wasnt a UTI from the sample they forced out with a catheter, I have strong reason to believe that the hasty practice of using a catheter on a young pup caused an infection. We have since visited another vet and treated the UTI, and they were surprised to hear that a vet would catheterize a puppy, and that this was typically a last resort. This is the worst of several hasty decisions they have made with my other dog, though he has managed to avoid any serious issues. This is our worst experience, on top of the doctors who did their best to get us out of the vet as quickly as possible without really providing any information. I will never bring my dogs here again and will advise any dog owner to seek another clinic.

Dr. Leiter was very professional and compassionate when it came time for our Beagle to be put down. He has been there since Day 1 for our Pointing Labrador that we bought as a puppy just over a year ago. He accidentally ingested (Labs eat anything and everything, right?) rat poison and Dr. Leiter and the staff jumped into action and took care of things. We could have lost our sweet Juno over it, but they took exceptional care of him and got him over the hump and on his way to a full recovery in only a few days. I cant say enough about Country View Vet. The Vet Tech even cleaned up when Juno peed on the floor at the front counter - embarrassing moment but they were very nice about it! Dr. Leiter has a newer Vet there named Dr. Campbell, Ive had a couple of interactions with her and she seems to be just as caring and knowledgeable as the rest of the staff - I cant say enough good about them!

I want to express my gratitude to the staff at country view for helping me with my new litter of puppies today. I completely forgot to set an appt to get the puppies dew claws removed with my regular vet near my home and when I remembered to do that my vet wasnt willing to get me in before before their cut off. I called 4 other animal hospitals in the area and no one else was willing to remove the dew claws beyond 7 days. The team here was able to see me the next morning and perform the surgery. They took great care with the puppies and all is well! They earned my business and I am willing to drive past 3 other hospitals in my hometown to for their services. THANK YOU.

My cat got sick over the weekend and wouldnt drink or eat and was very lethargic. I called first thing Monday morning and was able to get in. Dr. Madson and the stuff were very attentive to my cat and the cats needs. They answered all my questions and were not pushy to get the blood work done. This was the first time I took my cat to the vet for illness (the cat is almost 12 years old) and I had a very good experience with the doctor and the staff. Will definitely go back in the future if a need arises. Highly recommend this place. Thank you for treating my cat with care!!

Our 9 yr old Italian Greyhound Maximus had a teeth cleaning and unfortunately had a negative reaction to the drugs. Acute kidney failure was the diagnosis and we were beyond heartbroken. But thanks to Dr. Campbell and the wonderful Vet Techs, after a three day stay we were able to bring our Max home. Prognosis is positive! Dr, Campbell took more time and care with us than any other Vet weve had. The Vet Techs were absolutely wonderful and caring. We highly recommend County View!

I recently transferred my pets here from another vet. I was not unhappy with the service at the other vet, but their lack of availability and never being able to get a appointment. I called here at 8 am and was able to get my dog in within the hour. I was never pressured into running tests or anything. I felt the Dr. was honest, cared and worked with integrity. I am so happy I found this animal hospital and I will be transferring all my pet records here.
