I have been a patient at this office since July 2016. I needed to get many extractions done, as well as, getting fitted for dentures. I chose to get immediate dentures so I would not need to be without teeth for any amount of time. The procedure was done by Dr. Harris, an oral surgeon, that is part of the Coast dental staff. She was very professional and did the surgery as needed ed. I was sent home from the surgery with my immediate dentures in place. Dr. Harris told me I would be ready for my permanent denture in around three months. After a few months of healing, my dentures became extremely loose because my gums were continuing to shrink. The only way I could keep the dentures in was by using large amounts of denture adhesives. I returned to the dentist office to get fitted for my permanent dentures but was told the immediate were my permanent dentures. Before my oral surgery was done I paid over $4000.00 for my dentures and $6000.00 for my surgery. So when I returned to the office complaining that I wasnt happy with my dentures, I had a conversation with Brandy, office manager, about the denture fit and that because I had paid such a huge sum I expected Coast to fix the problem and not charge me anymore money. Brandy told me she would speak either her supervisor and get back with me. Later that same day she contacted me saying that Coast was going to fit me with new dentures and I would not be charged anything further. That is exactly what they did and now my new dentures fit so well that I dont use any adhesives at all. I would like to commend the staff and doctors at the Town Lake office for their conscientious care and professionalism. I have no qualms about referring anyone to this office and give it 5 stars. Thank you to Brandy, Gabby and Dr. Rana, for your excellent care.

Used to be good before the old dentist went somewhere else. Now, every time I go there I feel like I am walking into a used-car dealership where they try to screw you on every part of your visit. Whatever happened to the times when a cleaning really just meant a cleaning? Now, you go get a cleaning and they tell you that you need new x-rays and a complete examination of your mouth - standard practice, and a cancer screening. Its the similar to having your house cleaned by someone and automatically the home inspector shows up too and tells you that you cant have your house cleaned unless you also get a complete home inspection. Maybe its just me, but I have never ever heard anyone dying of oral cancer; I am sure it happens, but empirically not as much as they make you believe to sell you their cancer screening, which conveniently shows up on your bill automatically, and its up to you to make sure you remove it before they do it. I will cancel my next appointment and find another dentist. Plus, before your appointment, they hound you like a creditor going after your money. I get no less than six (6!!!) phone calls and two texts in the days leading up to the appointment, even multiple calls from different people there on the same day just to "remind" me that my appointment is coming up. Rather than feeling like good customer service, it feels more like harassment trying to intimidate you into not missing your appointment so they can fleece you. Be aware of this one and keep on looking to save you headache and your money.

I first visited Costal Dental due to a newly moving to the Towne Lake area, and knew I needed to correct some teeth issues. On my first visit I was quoted a little over $900 for a cavity and crown. I accepted this and scheduled the procedure. Upon my return to have the procedure completed I was informed it would now be over $1,900. I was bait and switched. After much debate and having a written quote they finally agreed to original price. The experience left a bad taste, but since they made it right I thought I would give them a second chance. Recently, I went in to have yet another cavity looked at. This ended up being two cavities in two teeth adjacent to each other and I was quoted for two cavities and crowns for a little over $2,100. Upon hearing this I decided to make the drive to my prior dentist in Snellville. That dentist stated he could complete the procedure with fillings and no crowns for $300 each, bringing the total bill to $600. As you can imagine I will never visit Coast Dental again. They have made me feel as though they are out to get you, and are providing quotes for expensive services one does not need. The staff is friendly enough, but if you are looking for a good and honest dentist I would strongly advise you look elsewhere! .

All the other reviews are similar to the experience I had. The X-ray tech was so rude and aggressive with me that I had to actually ask her to be nicer and not so hostile. she was so condescending. Even with Dental Insurance my preliminary visit (with out teeth cleaning) was $70 out of pocket. I had to schedule teeth cleaning and it was going to cost over $150 out of pocket. (With dental insurance!!!!) The dentist pushed a surgery on me that was not crucial but made it sound so by comparing it to going to a heart doctor and finding out you have clogged arteries. Also many other things were pushed on me sounding so vital that I had to ask 3-4 times do I need this??? everything was a sales pitch. When I read the other Google Reviews I was so disappointed I wasted my time and money there. SO I canceled my teeth cleaning and when tot Simple Smiles Dentistry off of Miramont Dr in woodstock GA. They confirmed I didnt need the surgery and it wasnt as crucial as it was made out to be. In fact the same services I would have had with Coast Dental was fully covered by my insurance and no out of pocket cost. DONT GO HERE. go to Simple Smiles Dentistry - way better

I agree with the others that the front receptionist women are not the nicest people to deal with, but my main complaint is my fillings were and continue to be extremely painful when I bite down on anything. It is not sensitive to hot/cold like a stressed nerve. After about 3 months I scheduled a follow up to get them filled down since the denist said that was what was causing the pain. However, I still get sharp pain in that tooth where the filling is. Again I dont know if this is normal from the porcelian filling as what she said but from what I have heard it is from air getting into the filling from being improperly filled. Also, apparently I have severe gingeritivis and had to get a deep cleaning and all that jazz, which I have heard they do that alot over at Coast Dental. ON TOP of that I got a bill from the main office for 78 CENTS that I had to pay because they were calling. The only reason I give them a extra star is because of Chelsea.

I was not happy with the service I received from here. I needed a root canal done and after calling this dental office to make sure they accepted my insurance, giving them my insurance information, & telling them what I needed done they tell me yes they accept insurance and set me up an appointment. I drove an hour to get to their office and after getting there, having an xray done, & the specialist confirming I needed a root canal they told me it was going to be $1400 because it wasnt covered under my insurance. I declined to have the root canal done there but they still charged me $136 bucks just because the specialist looked in my mouth and said yea I needed a root canal! Something I already knew and was the reason for the appointment! 3 hours of my time and $136 bucks wasted!
