BAIT AND SWITCH! We chose this practice because it was one of the few Pediatric Dentists covered by our insurance. We spoke with them extensively about how anxious our 3 year old was. 1) We were promised a parent could accompany him at all times. 2) They insisted he see his Pediatrician first, to be cleared for conscious sedation. Makes sense! He was seen, diagnosed with a bit of an ear infection and given antibiotics, to prepare him for dental work. The form was faxed over, as they asked. So yes, they knew he was on antibiotics. When the day came, my husband arrived on time for his 8:20am appointment and was told they were running 1.5 hours behind. How is this even possible at 8:20am? Then, my husband was told that: 1) He could not be with my son during the procedure. My son, whos just 3 and has never had any major work done, freaked out. They said either do it their way, or dont do it. 2) Then they said perhaps he cant even have the work done, because the antibiotics he took that morning were against the instructions not to eat or drink. This, after they required them for the work to be done and they never mentioned he shouldve finished the course, or skipped a dose, to be seen. Add to that, my husband never even got to see or meet the actual dentist whod be doing the work. The waiting room was packed and running 1.5 hours behind on opening is just ridiculous. So, he walked out and we wont be rescheduling. We got in with a lovely dentist who is fine having a parent in the room and is much more personal. Would NEVER EVER visit again. TERRIBLE.

I took my children there for several years and now wish I had listened to my gut and changed sooner. It was horrible. There was always a long wait even first thing in the morning. The children are pushed through a series of different stops for x-rays, etc. and each time have to wait again afterwards to be called for the next step. This place is all about making money and billing the parents and insurance companies as much as possible. Every single time we went there there was a multitude of services my children needed. The hygenists and dentists would chastise the parents to guilt the parents into getting unneccessary services. And there is no customer service for the children either. They are talked down to even more than the parents. At one point, I tried to talk to an office manager about my concerns and the dozens of staff members listened and visibly and audibly ridiculed me for questioning their practices. I have since taken my children to a small dentist office near my home and when we left my 7 year old son stopped the hygenist and told her what a nice lady she was. He could not believe the difference from chopshop we used to go to!!!

I am not the user name listed above, which is bizarre but I am a Mom who has taken two children here for two years. My stepson has Aspergers and both he and my son are TERRIFIED of the dentist. The warm and kid friendly wait rooms soon put the fears at ease but the amazing team is what truly makes our experience THE BEST! I called the after hours hotline with a Dental Emergency and they were wonderful. I was such an anxious Mom in that time and everyone I encountered made me feel so much better about the situation. They got me in the very next day. The staff is absolutely amazing and Natasha, who answered my phone bright and early that morning was a blessing to me in that moment of panic! She was so sweet! I will take them there as long as I can. Any anxious parents will trust the Dentist and love the administrative staff. Way to go to the entire team!

All current and new patients, beware. I used this dentist office for my two children for three years. When the dentist recommended my son see an orthodontist affiliated with the practice, a red flag went up. Know this, this office is a finely tuned money machine. They recommend work that is not always necessary, but without the ability to discern what is needed and what is not, most parents opt for treatment. I changed our pediatric dentist two years ago, yet I just received a bill from Dentistry for Children. When I left, I had no balance. Yet two years later, they are showing an insurance adjustment. Sloppy business practices or cunning scheme to delay billing? Clearly, they filter reviews on their own site. Dont be fooled.

we have been going there for over 15 years..a hour and 30 minute drive south----The only thing is when the kids go for their cleaning they are always double booked..last appt 2 hr wait...I was hoping for a successful trip. to get alot accomplished. After cleaning, we we over looked, not counseled and..after leaving got a phone call to review status. My son started with 14 cavities...now he has ten....not sure what progress has been made in all our years there .my child is almost 17 now. Always an insurance issue... considering another specialist

Shannon, the hygienist, was fun and friendly initially, but she was very rude when she dismissed my daughter. She told my daughter to go find your mother as she waved her hand and frowned her face, as if to wave away a bug. When she noticed that I heard and saw her nasty facial expression, she turned her back to me instead of discussing my daughters treatment. I found my own way to the front of the office and was nicely escorted to see Dr. Brown for my daughters restorative treatment. Overall this place is nice but my visit today was unpleasant.

My son WAS a patient but no more. The office reminds me of what a “sweat” shop would feel like. I gave it 3 tries, you wait too long, very chaotic, no personal care, children move from chair to chair. Also, most insurance companies pay for x-rays once a year. This facility take x-rays at each cleaning without telling you, so you end up paying the for those films. I always wondered why I would have a balance owed on my next visit without anyone every explaining this process. I would NOT recommend this practice at all.

We had to visit this office due to a dental emergency. We saw Dr. Wilkins and I believe Christy was the assistant. Loved them both! We had such a good experience! They kept my daughter calm and laughing as they fixed her teeth and I felt like they went above and beyond to make sure her teeth were fixed as best they could be! We already enjoy Dentistry for Children in our office in Douglasville but we have also now had a great experience in Woodstock as well!! Thank you!

This dentist office is simply the best. We have been to several with our 15 year old over the years. He was terrified of the dentist and would get stomach cramps in the waiting rooms. Our 6 year old has only been to this office her whole life. She looks forward to going every time and says, "yea, I love going to my dentist." The staff is friendly and helpful and the office runs amazingly on time especially considering the number of patience they see every day.
