I also work in the field where negative reviews can hurt your business. I am surprised to see bad reviews about this dentist office. I was a new customer and I probably would not have gone If I read the reviews beforehand. I was Very pleased with my visit. I found this location listed in my network. I guess I didn’t look at the review because I was in pain and they were able to see me on a short notice. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. I felt welcomed as a new patient. Super friendly staff and Megan was wonderful and very informative on any questions I had (even gym workout advice). Dr. Na made sure I toughly understood the procedure and steps it would take. I would definitely recommend this location anyone. The previous dentist offices I went to were based on their ok reviews and location, but neither worked out in my favor. I went to two different dentists prior to going to Great Expressions and I had bad experiences at both offices. My initial visit was for a root canal and wisdom tooth extraction. I left paying $374 (After BCBS Insurance) out of pocket at one of the dentist office and all I received was a cleaning. The second dentist (Costal) was a waste as well. I even called prior to make sure they performed root canals and exactly which tooth needed the root canal (R Upper Molar #3). I was told they could do the root canal. When I got there the dentist to said he do root canals, just not the one… The one that I specifically asked about before I set the appointment. I got up and walked out. I was in and out in less than 10min. NO x-rays or anything was done BUT now I have a bill from a collection agency for $60 that I am disputing!!

Worse customer service ever, Megan the office manager makes her own policy as she wants. I was a new customer and considering taking my child and myself to this office and I am glad I did not. This office is not worthy and I want everyone to know dont go to this rude office. I called in to reschedule my appointment for my son today and was prepared to pay a cancellation fee and to reschedule but upon trying to reschedule, I also wanted to be scheduled myself a cleaning appointment on the same day so I wouldnt have to take additional time off work. So I ask Megan to reschedule my sons appointment to a time, where I know I could get him there, which would be his winter break and so I asked Megan to set his appointment up and mine and she refused. Said due to me canceling 2 other times, she would not allow me to schedule another 2 appointments at the same time, so I asked where this was mention in writing because if I am being penalized for canceling than it surely most be somewhere in writing saying I am in violation but she mention there is no cancellation rule so at this time, I am prepare to pay for not coming the other 2 time, life happens but I dont understand why she is refusing to see us both.Megan is abusing her power and making rules up as she goes, which is the worse ! I will find another dentist office that will be happy to take my money !

This was the worst Dental experience that I ever had. I was told to arrive at 20 minutes early for my appointment at 8:00 am, which I did. I wasnt called back until 8:10. I was the first of 3 other clients that signed in, and was the last to be called back. I didnt understand this as for the 30 minutes that I waited to be seen I had to listen to the women chit chat about everything under the sun! Not a great start to my first visit. A tech literally took 20 minutes to take x-rays which was painful for some reason because of the way that she kept placing the instrument in my mouth. A doctor came in and looked at my mouth and tongue and told me that a hygienist was coming to do an evaluation of my teeth. At this point I am like, when am I going to get my teeth cleaned? The hygienist comes and probes around my teeth and tells me that I have deep gum infections and I need a special cleaning...HUH? I just had my teeth cleaned at another dentist office six months ago and have never heard such a thing! She was asking me if my teeth were hurting, I was like they are now since you poke them to death! 2 hours later, yes 2 hours later, I left with hurting UNCLEANED teeth..and an estimated bill of $1000 for this "deep cleaning" which also included an Oral B spin brush and required payment up front! I dont think so! These people are scam artists beware!!!!

I agree with Chad..Dr, D is GREAT- he is attentive, caring, and dedicated. Too bad he works there. He is the ONLY reason anyone should go there. I have NEVER had to wait more than 5 minutes, but that is because they have no busines!!!. The office staff is probably under-trained and payed minimum wage, Why should they care? changes every week and they attempt to overcharge all the time, you have to stay on top of them but they have accommodated me when I complain. They contract billing to an outside company, so even when insurance is paying, the billing company tries to charge a service fee & interest. The staff has always negated those charges when I tell them. On many occasions they have not had the materials the dentist needs to perform the required work- that is the fault of the consortium that owns them as well as a number of other dental offices in the Atlanta area. Poor Dr. D-- he is talented, compassionate and tries to work in the patients; best interests. Perhaps because he is young and not "jaded" yet? I wish him the best of luck and hope he will one day be able to afford his own practice.

Well what can I say that everyone else hasnt already covered? Ok, so I was recommended to have scaling done on my teeth on the left and right. I was told it was necessary [and covered by my insurance] or I would have bone loss. So after I had both sides done my insurance refused to pay for left side. Now the right side took a while and was [I believe] necessary.... the left took about 4 min and just seemed like a regular cleaning to be honest. So I asked the financial services person why I was told the work was pre authorized when it obviously wasnt. She said [over and over and over again... like some sort of meth addled parrot] "We bill you as a courtesy". She said it on the phone [rudely] and while she denies speaking to me on the phone she repeated "we bill you as a courtesy" OVER AND OVER again in person. Apparently despite it being her actual job, it is my job to determine the medical necessity of the procedures THEY perform, then contact my insurance to ensure payment. The amount of hostility and downright scam-y nature of this dental office makes me ill.

Wow I went looking for reviews on this clinic even though I went there a year ago!!! Ha! This place told me I couldnt even get my teeth cleaned but i was covered for it . They told me I had gum disease and barley told me about the disease or how to prevent it or how to maintain it,but, plenty about the cash part...I had such a ugly feeling in there even tho the dentist smiled so nicely at me lol...he was creepy smiley though...and just like these other comments it seemed like the chic that took the x rays was very nice but the lady coming to get money from me was just about the money! I knew I wasnt crazy! Its nice to go on here and see that what you were feeling is exactly on point. I actually only looked this place up to see why they told me i couldnt get my teeth cleaned under peach state insurance...They only took x rays and said that is the only thing my insurance covered...where do they do that at...?
