Ive been coming here for over 20 years Dr. Tapper is absolutely amazing words cannot express how I feel about him as a veterinarian and person. This is a place where youre not another number and you get what you pay for. If you want the best care for your animal this is where you need to go. My shitzu Gizmo lasted 19 years and one month to the day for the simple fact that Dr. Tapper is amazing and I didnt sacrifice to keep his health up including full bloodwork and dental cleaning annually with your normal vaccinations. The other veterinarians that work there are also cut from the same cloth as their leader. My American Staffordshire terrier Myah Is 12 years old and very healthy almost like a puppy despite the light aging because of the care of Emerald Hills Animal Hospitol. Theyre not cheap but theyre not expensive the health of your animal shouldnt be sacrificed to save a buck if you can afford it. This is not the place thats going to tell you to do surgery if they dont feel theres going to be a positive result. I could go on and on and on but I think Ive said enough if you go anywhere else thats up to you.

I had several great experiences here. I have 2 cats and the one thing I liked was an entrance into the waiting room for cats only. Dogs are on the other side. Its quiet and efficient. No waiting time in a room full of animals. Clean. Timely appointments. Dr. Tapper and his staff are just wonderful. I had to euthanize one of my cats in my last experience, and they made it so I understood the process fully and I could stay with my cat to ease her and send her off in a private room with just moments to say goodbye with the Doctor right there. No long drawn out drama. For her, it was dignified and humane and for me, massive tears, of course, but an understanding staff. I highly recommend Dr. Tapper and this Animal Hospital. My only caveat is to question every charge that might appear on your bill BEFORE any procedures. If you dont feel as though something is necessary, then, tell them right up front. Dont let your emotions get in the way of your wallet.

I had taken my cat to another animal hospital before learning about Emerald Hills, and they took me to the cleaners, insisting I needed tests and treatments for things that my cat didnt even have. When I brought my cat to Dr. Weiner at Emerald Hills, it was like a breathe of fresh air. He was more focused on making my little cat get healthy rather then seeing how many hundreds of dollars I would spend on time consuming tests, just to find out my little girl had ear mites. And you can tell that the entire staff is comprised of animal lovers( which if you have been to the big commercial "animal hospitals" located in the big commercial pet supply stores you would know that is usually the farthest thing from the case). Im happy to know that my little cat has such a good Doctor and good team to take care of her. At this point she has a better Doctor then I do ha ha ha.

Dr Topper is an absolute gem who goes above and beyond to help animals. Ive had a number of tragic pet losses in the recent months and he is beyond compsssionate. I trust his judgement and he does not push invasive and painful procedures is the prognosis is grim. Yet, he is all in and will do everything he can if you want to give your pet every last option. I cannot say enough good things.

This vet is so kind beyond words. He did a fabulous job cropping my 2 Dobermans, ears!! I highly recommend him and his staff. Update- he also to time out of his day to personally call me and explain in detail what needs to be done for my frenchies to mate!! Thank you for everything you do for us and our pets!

Dr Tapper has taken care of my dogs for at least 10 years, he is a compassionate human being who care for your animals not just to make money. I truly love him, he helped us through losing 2 dogs as well as help us to keep healthy 3 more. His support staff is excellent and will help you in anything you need.

The staff was friendly at reception and they safely spayed our puppy.....not sure what more you could ask for. They even dropped our leash off at our home when there was a mix up and our personal leash was left at the vet.

Dr Tapper is hands down one of the nicest people on the planet. All he cares about is helping your animal and getting it better. Im not a fan of the other doctor, but I would drive hours to see Dr Tapper if I had to.
