My dental experience with Dr. Blandford and his staff exceeded my expectations. I first met Dr. Blandford 15 yrs. ago in Houston,Tx. He worked on my removable upper front partials and made it into a permanent bridge.He did an excellent job.However in 2012,my front bridge failed and needed to be fixed.The only person I want to work on my teeth was Dr. Blandford but we live in Wisconsin. I have not seen him in 15 years and my dental experience with him stuck with me. I remembered him as a warm,friendly,compassionate,meticulous and highly skilled professional. He had a cosmetic eye.I remembered it was a long process (multiple visits,measurements,xrays,fittings and re fitting) but the end result was worth it because it was not shoddy work.He made me look good! I started looking for him and found out he left Houston and moved to Dallas. I called him through his office and he was very accommodating with me.He could not remember me but when I explained my problem to him we began a series of phone consultations.We discussed options and he answered all of my questions. After we talked I realized my teeth needed extensive work. I really want Dr. Blandford to work on my teeth but distance is a problem and I have 2 young children. I opted for dental implants and I decided then to look for the best dentist in the area.The oral surgeon did a wonderful job but when it came to my bridge work I became very disappointed.The prosthodontist did not get it.My gums have receded and I looked old in my new bridge. I tried to explain the look that I wanted and the answer was "you are Asian and Asians have that look". Well, I said"all I need is support in my gums" and the reply was"you will need plastic surgery". I realized then I made a big mistake. I should have trusted my instinct and let Dr.Blandford do the work. To make the long story short, I went back to Dr. Blandford.My husband and I,along with our 2 young children drove to Dallas from Wisconsin in the middle of winter 2014. It was one of the best decisions Ive ever made. Dr. Blandford and his staff made me and my family feel so special.When I saw Dr. Blandford again I just knew I was in very good hands.His treatment of me compared to my previous dentist was like night and day.He listened to me and made sure he understood what I wanted. He is meticulous,a perfectionist! He gave me the smile I wanted without plastic surgery.He is not just a highly skilled dentist.He is also an artist. A rare combination! If you want quality cosmetic dental work,look no further and choose Energy Square Dental. I assure you that Dr. Blandford and his staff will give you the best dental experience and treatment you deserve. You will not be disappointed!

A co-worker and friend of mine recommended Dr. Blandford and Energy Square Dental when I mentioned that I, embarrassingly enough, hadn’t been to a dentist in over a decade and that I was developing some pretty serious issues with one of my teeth. By “issues” I mean that the tooth broke in half. I was reluctant about going in for that (or anything else), but knew it had to be done. I also went in feeling extremely insecure about my two front teeth – one was noticeably longer than the other. When I looked at pictures, it was the first thing I saw, and had been for about 5 or 6 years. Despite all the official work that I knew needed to be done (Finding possible cavities / gum restoration / cleaning), I was hoping for some kind of resolution to this problem sooner than later. When my co-worker said that these folks, Dr. Blandford and Team, take service for you to the next level, he really wasn’t joking. Literally in everything they do, it is apparent that the health of your mouth and your comfort is their first priority. When I walked in – they were all extremely polite. Camelia had me laughing in the chair before they did the checkup. They were very clear in what they were doing and consistently making certain that I was okay with what was happening. Extremely professional and enjoyably personable. Dr. Blandford made recommendations to the work that needed to be done, and I agreed about the order in which things needed to occur. I mentioned my front teeth and Dr. Blandford promised that when I came in to work on my crown that he would shave it down while we were at it. As of yesterday, he delivered on that promise. And he did a brilliant job. I can’t thank him enough for taking care of this issue that I have been dealing with for so many years. He showed me what the tooth would look like before he ever started by making a mark and asking me if it was to my preference. I said yes. With that, he began to shave away very conservatively and did so until I was totally satisfied. I am a cheerful person – Dr. Blandford and team gave me the gift of being able to express it with a full, unrestricted smile. I have had such a great experience with everyone at this office. I would also like to make a mention for Juli who did an excellent job cleaning my teeth – my gums are in the best shape they have been in in years. Can’t imagine going anywhere else for the health of my mouth. What a great, efficient, and polite team. Very well done.

Excellence. The best word that I can come up with to describe my experiences with Energy Square Dental. When I entered the office, for my first visit to a dentist in too many years, every staff member immediately treated me with kindness and professionalism, as if I had been a patient with them for years. Dr. Blandford is incredible. On my initial visit, he was more thorough with his examination than any dentist I have ever visited. His light-hearted, intelligent and relaxed manner made my time with him very pleasant. On my second visit, I had gum rejuvenation surgery. I experienced very little pain or discomfort during the surgery due to his gentle and practiced touch. The day after, I was pain free. I would whole-heartedly recommend him to my family and friends who are in need of a general or surgical dentist. I would also highly recommend the Chao Pinhole Rejuvenation Technique, which Dr. Blandford uses, to anyone in need of surgery to repair gum recession. On my first visit, I had my teeth cleaned by Julie. She did a wonderful job. Along with her efficient and effective skills as a hygienist, she also made me feel comfortable with the fact that it had been a long time since I had been to the dentist. Dr. Blandfords staff truly goes along with his "no guilt" attitude. My teeth felt better than ever. Overall, my experiences with Dr. Blandford and his staff at Energy Square Dental have been just short of amazing (it is the dentist after all.

I highly recommend the Chao Gum Rejuvenation procedure performed by Dr. Blandford at Energy Square Dental. I have experience the traditional gum surgery using tissue grafts, and the Chao Gum procedure is the preferable experience in my opinion. I experienced the traditional method for gum surgery at a periodontists office. It involved tissue removal from the roof of my mouth, stitches, and wearing a stent/covering to protect the roof of my mouth as it healed. The traditional method involving tissue grafts was a longer surgical procedure, so I opted for anesthesia. Because the Chao Gum procedure was a shorter procedure, I elected to forego the anesthesia and experienced no difficulties; I also was able to eliminate the added expense of the anesthesia. The Chao Gum procedure was more comfortable for me; I experienced minor swelling and minimal pain which was solved by taking an ibuprofen initially. And with Chao Gum Rejuvenation the post procedure experience was preferable because I avoided the need for stitches and wearing a protective stent. If I require future gum surgery, I will not hesitate to elect Chao Gum Rejuvenation with Dr. Blandford and his team at Energy Square Dental. Dr. Blandford and his team coached me through the entire process and made me feel at ease. Thanks Energy Square Dental!
