MAY.19.2016 WHAT DO I LOOK FOR WHEN I GO TO SEE A DOCTOR.? 1) WHAT OR HOW MUCH IS THE OFFICE VISIT.!!! 2) HOW NICE IS THE PERSON WHO ANSWERS THE PHONE. I WENT TO THE WELLS URGENT CLINIC, IT WAS CLOSE TO 7PM. I WAS GREETED BY "ERIKA", WHO IS VERY CORDIAL AS SHE WAS ON THE PHONE. THE MUSIC WAS LOUD "MY PROBLEM IS THAT I HEAR TOO MUCH; SO - ERIKA WENT AND TURNED IT OFF. A WHOLE DAY I HAD THE COLD CLIMATE ON TO FEEL COOL, THEN I FELT COLD, AND HAD TO RUN THE CLIMATE CONTROL ON HUT FOR HOURS, BUT IT CAME TO A POINT THAT I WAS FEELING REALLY BAD. AT THE TIME I MAY HAVE NOT REALIZED I MAY HAVE BEEN FEELING DELIRIOUS. I WENT TO MY NEIGHBORS BECAUSE I DID NOT FEEL THAT I SHOULD DRIVE. HE TOOK ME TO THE CLINIC. I TOLD THE DOCTOR THE PROBLEM STARTED 4 DAYS AGO WITH SORE THROAT, AND HOARSE VOICE. AS USUAL DOCTORS ASK IF ONE DRINKS, SMOKE, TAKE MEDICINES, ETC... AND WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME I SAW A DOCTOR. AND I SAW A DOCTOR IN JUNE OF 2015. I HAD TAKEN SOME BETA PROSTATE FOR PROSTATE. AFTER THEY TOOK MY BLOOD PRESSURE, AND A SERIES OF TEST. THE DOCTOR RETURNED AND SAID THAT I HAD URINARY INFECTION. I HAD SWITCHED TO DRINKING TAB WATER SAME AS WATER FROM THE FAUCET. WHAT I FELT WAS STRESS MAY BE RIGHTLY CALLED DELIRIUM. SHE ORDERED ANTI-BIOTICS, AND I REQUESTED A SHOT, BEFORE LEAVING. FIRST MY FRIEND TOOK ME TO GET MY PRESCRIPTION AND BOTTLE WATER. THEN I WENT HOME LAID DOWN. THE NIGHT DID NOT GO WELL BUT BY THE TIME I GOT UP I WAS ABLE TO FEEL MY HANDS AND THE WARMTH IN MY HANDS. LAST YEAR THE DOCTOR, THE DOCTOR I WAS SEEING DISCHARGED ME AND IGNORED THAT I TOLD HIM I WANTED SOMETHING FOR PROSTATE. SO AS IT SEEMS TO BE IS THAT I MUST HAVE BEEN LIVING WITH URINARY INFECTION FOR SOMETIME. NOW I AM HOME SOUND AND SAFE, DOING GOOD, FEELING GOOD. THANKS TO WELLS URGENT CLINIC

I was there today. I had to wait for over an hour an half, the nurse practioner was not there. the receptionist allowed people before me to go in; even though I was there first, and when I asked the receptionist why that happened she acted like it was my fault and gave a very rude look. they finally called my son name and the lady never introduced her self and never told us what her qualifications were, after waiting in patient room for about 20 minuets i heard the ladies in the hall way say where am i at and the other one responded that we should be first but its ok you could c the other ones first.. that is when i walk out of the clinic and said that I dont want to be seen in this clinic. we are not a herd of cows that you treating we are human beings you all need to be more considerat to you all patients. also your prices are a lot higher than other clinic 50.00 for a school physical exam is too much compared to your competions every where i called it was 35.00 and it is done by a doctor not a nurse becasue sad to say the person who was doing all of the exams was a nurse and not a nurse practioner which is illegal they are there just ot make money. I will never ever go there again and I will file a complain with the BBB and the Texas board of medical examiners

If i could give 0 stars i would ....... I have been going to this clinic for about 8 years..... It has progressively gotten worse ..... RUDE and they have raised they prices multiple times...... Every 3-6 months they want to do blood test and charge $125 and keep tacking on random charges for a simple prescription refill..... and guess what when you have no refills THEY SUCK and helping you out...... If you try to call and talk to a Dr. THEY WILL NOT LET YOU .....If you want to spend $75 for horrible service and to wait an hour in the room will the Dr is either NOT THERE and they fail to tell you..... Or is sitting in the back eating..... Also I called and asked if they had a wait once and they say "no. Come on in" I drove an hour to get there with my daughter and took the day off work to get a refill...... THE DR was not there and they said you can wait for 3 hours!! NO THANKS - THIS CLINIC SUCKS! I used to refer some many people to this place and I am officially done with this place .......

Been going here for years. Always paid in full, always waited patiently. This was our last resort for good care for our stepkids as we usually had to take them on Saturdays or Sundays when we have possession. We took them in today for fevers, sinus problems and some impetigo. WE WERE REFUSED MEDICAL CARE. Our attorney had subpoenaed records from them a few weeks before (not too hard to do--just make some copies) and because of this we were told, in front of the kids WE WERE NO LONGER WELCOME. There were no agreements that records could not be subpoenaed, no warnings that if you subpoenaed records you would be refused--no warning whatsoever. We were just informed that WE WERE NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE. Those were the front desk girls exact words. They even complained when we called to ask them to fax over records to a new pediatrician. WOW.

Seems as the flu is going around, and my daughter had all the symptoms of it. Had taken her to her regular Dr. only to b told to go Walgreens & pick up Over the counter medicine. She needed to b well as we all aware as parents that they cant miss school. As I was driving on 1960 I saw the clinic & quickly was told that I could bring her in. By Far the best Choice I ever made. They are Extremelly professional & my daughter was prescribed the medicine she needed to be well....Thank You so much to Wells Clinic she is doing well....They Definetely Stand by their name & if u Want to B Well go to Wells Clinic & see their Dr. Amanda & their Wonderful staff

Had a great experience all around. You dont have to mess with insurance and the prices are still low considering. I went to an urgent care clinic before them who did not take my insurance and would have still seen me for $45 dollars more than this clinic. It is a Nurse-Practioners-based business and they are friendlier and better listeners than medical doctors. Clean facilities, friendly staff, affordable prices. They only take cash, Visa, and MasterCard. Also my total visit took one-hour, but not a strenuous, tiresome wait. I highly recommend this clinic, however they do not see kids of a certain age.

This is the best medical care I have ever received. Gail Wells is one of the smartest people I have ever met in my life. The staff truly cares about you and it shows. Somebody posted that their are lots of hidden fees. This is absolutely NOT true. I took a friend their and he has simple outpatient surgery and it was about $265, a hospital had estimated around $4500!!! Since first comming to see Gail, I have since moved 45 minutes away. I continue to see her and the rest of the staff because they are worth a 45 minute drive AND they are saving me a fortune. Thank you wells walk in clinic!!
