Words cannot express how happy I am to have found Houston Health and Wellness. Initially, I had gone to Dr. Rorick for hormonal treatment after having seen several other doctors over the previous 5 years. I was treated with bio-identical hormones but with less than satisfactory results. Dr. Rorick assessed where I was at the moment and made several adjustments over a period of time. With these adjustments, I feel like a normal person. Actually, better than I have in years. The menopausal issues, both minor and more significant are no longer an issue. During the time I was seeing Dr. Rorick for hormonal treatment, I had an accident that shattered my heel bone. After a four month recovery and 6 weeks of physical therapy, I continued to have a difficult time walking. Dr. Rorick suggest that I try a few things that might help with my recovery. The treatments he did were not like anything that was being offered at the physical therapy facility. Within just one weeks time, people were commenting on how much better I was walking. Without reservation, I would highly recommend Dr. Rorick and his staff. It has made a world of difference to the quality of my life after the accident. Doc, Dodie and their staff have given me back my life and health. They are kind, compassionate and loving people who encourage, guide and help heal "broken" bodies and souls. Ive suffered for 15 years with Fibromyalgia and longer with back problems. Ive had 3 back surgeries with 2 rods in my back. All Ive ever been told is to take prescription medications, have surgeries and just have to find the strength to deal with my aches, pains, broken discs and nerve problems. I was desperate and with basically no hope when I stumbled across Doc. With HHW knowledge and help and a lot of discipline and dedication on my part I now have my life back. I can actually go to a grocery store by myself now AND push the cart! I can walk up and down stairs now and I do every day, 5 flights of them @ work, multiple times a day. My cholesterol and other blood levels are all in the normal range now plus I lost 40 pounds. This experience is a life changing event not a fad diet or quick fix/miracle pill, although I consider Doc & Dodie "my miracle"! I will be forever grateful to ALL of HHW staff as they all contribute to a persons healing. They are friendly, upbeat and earnest. They have become my extended family.

Ive been going to Houston Heath and Wellness for a year now, and I have never been happier with a health care provider. Thats probably because I have never had a single healthcare provider do so much for me, and so quickly. Ive learned to mention every single thing that is abnormal, whether I slept on my pillow wrong last night or I am randomly nauseated today, Dr. Rorick has a solution, and I walk out amazed that there was such an easy solution. I even brought my asthmatic mother, who is on oxygen 24/7, in to see him when she was visiting from out of state and was looking for a quick adjustment. Not only did Dr. Rorick make her severe back pain much more manageable for the week, he also helped open her lungs up and she remarked all day at how much more air she felt like she was getting. And she loved the HydroMassage! All of the staff at HH&W are wonderful. Very friendly, very helpful, very patient - not to mention how good you feel after they work their magic on you. I really do look forward to every visit, and plan to keep them all as part of my routine as long as I am in Houston.

Before finally stumbling across HHW I had been in and out more doctors offices than Id like to admit at age 24. I had been diagnosed with everything under the sun and had every prescription medication in my cabinet to match it. I was tired, sick, unhappy and completely hopeless. Doctor really cares... never pushes you to do something and has great knowledge. He encouraged me to go home and research more on my own before deciding on what treatment I needed, this was after he described in detail my options. The staff is absolutely focused on the customer 100%... the front desk nurses make the treatment process fast, easy, and enjoyable(very personable ladies). I cant wait to go back ... I see improvements with my physical injury daily.
